Quick Note: The line "Royal Academy mein padne aaye hai, toh padna hi padega. Bistar ho ya pathar, toh sona hi padega" was line from the movie, except instead of Royal Academy, it was Gurukul. I just want to mention that all rights and credit for this line goes to the writers, not me. Just wanted to mention that so it doesn't seem like I'm plagiarizing.

Welcome to Royal Academy

At a nice, peaceful railway station at around midnight, is an equally nice, peaceful boy. He's sitting on the ground with his head down. Not sleeping, but waiting.

Just then, the train comes, making the boy look up. When the train comes to a stop, a different boy gets off. Maybe that's who the boy on the ground was waiting for.

The other boy walks over to the boy on the ground and asks "Are you going to Royal Academy?" "Yeah" responds the boy on the ground. The other boy smiles and holds his hand out. "Reyansh. Reyansh Singhania" he says, "But you can call me Rey." The boy on the ground also smiles and shakes Rey's hand. "Dhruv" he says, "Dhruv Vedant."

Okay, maybe Rey's not exactly who Dhruv was waiting for, but it looks like they might be waiting for the same thing.

Half an hour later, another train comes, causing the two boys to wake up. A boy their get off, no- jumps off the train. Dhruv and Rey look at each other, wondering why this boy chose to jump off the train like an idiot, instead of getting off of it like a normal person. The boy on the other hand, makes his way towards Dhruv and Rey and says "Hey! Are you guys going to Royal Academy?" "Yeah" answer the other two. "Cool" says the boy, as he sticks his hand out, "I'm Varun!" Dhruv and Rey both bring their hands out forward at the same time and say their names. Varun just brings his other hand forward, and shakes both their hands at the same time.

Together, they make their way outside to wait for the car that's supposed to pick them up.

A good hour or two later, a car comes to take the boys to their destination, Royal Academy. The ride takes three or four hours, but it was worth it to get to Royal Academy.

Ah, Royal Academy! Where dreams come true. Just staying there is a dream itself. After all, Royal Academy's no less than a castle.

When the boys arrive, they get out of the car, and wave goodbye to their driver. They enter the Academy, and head straight to the main office. They get all their information, and it turns out, they're going to be roommates!

They enter the room, and are surprised by its size.

"For such a huge place, the rooms are pretty small" remarks Varun. Dhruv and Rey just smile at their roommate's remark. "Excuse me" says Varun, as he makes his way to the single bed. Dhruv and Rey just stare at him in shock, and make their way over to the bunk beds. Rey puts his bag on the top bunk, while Dhruv puts his on the bottom.

Varun jumps on the bed, and immediately regrets it. "Ow!" he screams in pain, as Dhruv and Rey try to hide their laughter. "Bistar hai ya pathar?" says Varun, as he gets off the bed to unpack his things, "Whatever. Royal Academy mein padne aaye hai, toh padna hi pade ga. Bistar ho ya pathar, toh sona hi pade ga." "Nice poem" says Dhruv, while Varun takes a bow.

"By the way, if either of you snore, then please let me know right now. Because I for one, like my 8 hours of sleep where I can dream about the girls of my dream" says Varun. "Don't you mean the girl of your dream?" asks Rey. "No, I mean the girls of my dream" says Varun, "Arre, har ladki mein thodi saari qualities hone vaali jo main dhund raha hoon. That's why, the girls of my dream. They each have a specific quality which I'm looking for." Dhruv and Rey just look at each other and shake their heads while Varun asks "What?"

A moment of silence passes, and Varun hears a sound. "Did you guys hear that?" he asks. "Hear what?" asks Dhruv. Varun opens the window, and the three boys see a man praying. "Who's that?" asks Varun. "Shashank Gupta. Royal Academy ke principal" says Rey, wisely. The boys continue to watch their principal, as he finishes praying and turns around, scaring them with his icy glare. The boys quickly close the curtain and get ready to go to their orientation.

Main Hall

More than a hundred boys were standing in the main hall, waiting for their principal to arrive. Dhruv, Rey, and Varun stood together, somewhere in the middle. This room was filled with many emotions. Nervousness, anxiety, curiosity, fear, and who knows what else? Everyone was chatting, but as soon Mr. Shashank Gupta came on stage, everyone stopped talking. Even Varun.

"Discipline" begins Shashank Gupta, "is what Royal Academy is all about." "It is discipline that is going to help you in your life" he continues, "Those who have graduated before you, have left high standards, because they had discipline. I expect each and every one of you to follow their example, so that you can be successful in the future like they are today. Some are doctors, some are engineers, some are lawyers. But they all have one thing in common. And that is, that they followed the rules of this Academy. We have chosen you from all over the country, to you give the chance to become successful. But it is not that simple. There are things that one must give up to earn such a thing like success. Today, entering this Academy, you have left the outside world behind. If any of you are caught breaking the rules, then you shall be immediately rusticated. And remember, if you are rusticated from this Academy, then your future is ruined. No other school is going to accept you. So if there is anyone here who does not want to make this sacrifice, then you may leave. If you wish to stay, then the outside world shall not exist for you." He looks around the room after finishing his speech, and leaves.

Dhruv, Rey, and Varun look at each other, and wonder what the hell they've just gotten themselves into.
