Finally Lavanya decided to let go. It had to be a decision made by her from her very being, her heart and mind, otherwise no outside help from family or shrink can do anything. Lavanya saw what her in the moment unthought full action caused to the people who loved and cared for her. And now for them she wanna be better and for herself, I guess.
And than there is Khushi who is bearing most of the burnt of Lavanya's unthoughfull decision. Tugged from the proprietary, from her love for the man and his for her, from her own promises to him in the past and from her need to keep sanity and self preservance she had finally made her decision, one which in a way she told Arnav.
Only problem here is Arnav decided to overlook the panic and pain his heartfelt at Khushi's word. Hoping against hope that she would not decide to leave him, them in the middle of there journey. Hoping that she will stay by him as she promised and have hope in them. He decided to wait and give her time to come around but I fear his reaction and pain when he will learn what his own decision did in taking away Khushi rather than confronting her than and making her stay back.
Astha finally stood up for Arnav, not taking any wrong said against her son anymore. She knew what she was relying Shashi would not be received well and she empathized with him. And I for once doesn't agree with Arnav for his irritation on Astha telling Shashi, because he needs to know the truth in order to help her daughter and understand her situation that's it's not only the death of her son and the divorce hurting her mental balance but also the guilt of keeping Aarav's paternity hidden and it's role in her marriage.
And in this new light the hatred and negativity he had for Arnav vanished and in it's place took place peace for sorts between Arnav and Shashi.
Shashi was reflecting where he went wrong with his parenting. As a single father he did everything he could but at a stage where his daughters became adult enough to take there own decisions he let them go and live there own life with no interference and i guess only distant check. I guess that's where a mother plays of a role of becoming a friend to her daughter and being a part of her life that way. Shashi could have done the same but his fear of living his rest of the life alone took over him to neglect and distance himself from his daughter. Especially Lavanya who needed him the most being younger and losing her mom at such a young age.
Everyone's life is so tangled and complicated at the moment that here kashyaps are trying to break all walls and comminicate and be together, Khushi is building walls around her to have some relief and even a facade of sanity by blocking everyone even Arnav.
