Poonam Raizada might do a million wrongs and Arnav can fix it all, but I think at the heart of the story is Arnav's acute class consciousness and his simultaneous fascination with Khushi as C Billi eloquently pointed out in an earlier comment. He struggled with this with when he was a teenager, as a young adult and in present time too. Unlike a lot of class conscious people, for him this is no blindspot. Of course he realises it today, but even as a silly college kid, he seemed to be aware of it. But he also is that college kid, who feels slighted by things that he imagines. Funnily enough, Khushi who is stoic and well-adjusted, also grapples with this paranoia. She reads too much into his casual gestures. He probably put the backpack away from her, just so that it was not in her way. But she immediately assumes that he is thinking of her as a thief or something. As much as she tells Preeto that she does not harbour ill-will towards Arnav, she is very hurt by Arnav's casual gestures more than she is bothered by Poonam Raizada's downright evil plans.

And while on the subject of Poonam Raizada. This woman is complex. But Anjali's comment that it must be dad's fault, somehow makes me suspect that Raizada Senior is not what he seems. Perhaps he had a roving eye, was a perv. Something seems off.

Interesting that everyone's favourite Aman makes an appearance finally 😆 I understand why he distanced himself from the Newons bunch after the suicide. He was the funny guy, the charmer I reckon and from that he went to the guy who attempted to kill himself. He probably feels embarrassed and judged by his former classmates, including Arnav. Who knows, maybe he blames Arnav for his suicide. I think he also realises how damaging it was to Khushi that she somehow got blamed for his suicide attempt. He might not have romantic feelings for her, but he certainly feels guilty. Arnav has only recently attempted the repair the damage with Khushi, but Aman seems to have been at it for a few years now. Though it is still not clear whether his relationship with Khushi transcended knock knock jokes email forwards.

And finally Lavanya-Preeto-Gagandeep. Haha. That was the most unlikely love triangle 😆 But I can see why La would be pissed. She loses boyfriend and by all accounts Gagandeep seems like a fine man, that too to her former best friend's current best friend. And the weight gain might be even making her go through some body-image issues for all we know. She does not like Joseph's. Poor girl.

One thing I noted is that Payal does not have much to do in your notes from the past. She is not so intertwined in the mess of these people's history, which is why she is all breezy, fabulous and I-don't-give-a-damn in present time. There is nothing to bring her down 😆

I love this story and how worked up I get over all the characters and all the feelings.

Khushi does not like to feel inferior...she is determined not to be a victim...wow. I love this girl and her spunk.

ROFL...even if they wanted to! Khushi and Arnav can not get away from each other...their lives are so intertwined and it's fate and destiny all combined ...everyone pairs the two together so it's almost like word association that Lavanya, Preeto and even Khushi's dad notice how Arnav is always associated with Khushi.
