*giggle*
Sorry. This is not a giggling-wala chapter at all. But I can't help it. Because Aman and Anita are the cutest. THANK YOU! :D
*sigh*
Ab yeh toh hona hi tha. I had suspected that Manya's angry ravings come from tremendous guilt and frustration but that still doesn't make it okay for her to do what she did.
The extent of Lavanya's delusions and instability ought to have been evident to her family much before this, but it wasn't. And that's the real tragedy, isn't it? In most cases, the family doesn't realize just how serious things are until it's too late.
In this case, it took Lavanya's attempted suicide for them to take her mental health seriously. If Manya had paid a little more attention, if Arnav had been able to get past his anger and bitterness and recognize that Lavanya's obsession warranted clinical help and get in touch with her family to share his concerns...it's all a mess of could-have-beens.
Damn. I can just see Khushi deciding to move away from all this and try to find herself and what she truly stands for.
I'm glad Arnav's mom knows the truth about his relationship with Lavanya, though. Even if Arnav is unwilling to let Aarav's paternity be dragged through court, I still stand by my earlier belief that all the involved families need to know the truth here. Hiding this crucial bit of information, in this case, at least, is doing no one any good.
