NOTE: Hey everyone,

I have been quite inactive lately as I was extremely busy but anyways I am back with a new OS, and it is random. Hope you all like it and let me know what you think about it in your comments.

Those who are waiting for me to update my other stories, you might have to wait a little longer and in the time being, enjoy this One Shot.

The Night Stranger:

Kumud's P.O.V:

I yawned sleepily as I made my way to the kitchen of my house. I was alone at home as I live alone in a rented apartment. I could hear my clicks of my flip flops against the oak tiling from Italy. It was nearly midnight and I had ventured into the kitchen with the intention to find some water since I had a parched throat.

I lazily opened the door to the fridge in order to end my quest for water. I found a bottle of chilled mineral water and I gulped some of the refreshing liquid. I felt some relief after that and I made my way to go back to my room where I could hit the bed but I heard a knock at that moment. I decided to ignore it initially, maybe it was the wind or something like that...but I heard the sound again. Questions like who would it be?, Was it a stalker, thief, murderer? Were flooding my mind. I moved towards the door, not taking into consideration my messed up mind, and I looked into the keyhole, I saw a human figure...of course, it had to be a person, who did I expect, an alien? Haha. Ok, I'll stop with my stupid jokes now. Owing to my helpful nature, I opened the door to see my boss, Saras Vyas. I was quite shocked to see him and on top of that, it was raining heavily and he was drenched completely. I kept on staring at him as I tried to absorb whatever just happened but he faked a cough and I let him enter while feeling embarrassed, I could not believe that I kept on ogling at him especially when he needed help, or if he needed help?

He stayed near the entrance and said," My car broke down and I figured out that I could get some shelter over here..." Saras looked into my eyes and my heart skipped a beat, his wet hair was enhancing his irresistible look and his shirt was clinging on to him. I came back to my senses and said," Sure, you can stay here.." I smiled nervously. He smiled back and I started feeling butterflies in my tummy, since the very first day at work, I felt something for him and I also had fantasies about him, I was not sure about my feelings yet but I also refused a vacation in order to spend more time with him. I was definitely going nuts..but I could not deny the attraction I felt for him. I shyly asked him if he would mind a coffee and he replied," Can I ever refuse coffee made by you, Miss Kumud?" I blushed a bit and led him to my living room and I disappeared into the kitchen and came back some minutes after with two cups of steaming hot coffee.

I settled myself on the same couch as Saras but I stayed some inches away, I was feeling damn nervous and I kept the cups on the glass table positioned in the middle of the huge room. Saras took his cup and took a sip of it only to find out that it was steaming... We both laughed and then there was an awkward silence. I took my coffee mug but due to my clumsiness, the hot liquid spilled on my hand making me scream. Saras placed his cup back on the table and quickly took my hand and started blowing on it...Despite my hand was burnt, I could feel a shiver down my spine when I felt him blow on my hand, and he said," Are you alright Miss Kumud?" I nodded in approval but my expressions were saying some other things. I would not lie to myself, my hand was badly injured but I did not want to worry Saras so I said the opposite but he seemed to know that I was lying. He quickly took me to the kitchen and he searched for some ice in the fridge and he applied it on my burning skin. I closed my eyes as I felt the ice cube melt on my wound as well as the feeling of his warm fingers on my hand.

Saras was concentrating on my hand but he looked up after a while and our faces were quite close. He stared at my face and I did the same with reddened cheeks. Saras whispered in husky voice," Beautiful.." and I blushed more as he traced my lips with his fingers and I had not at all anticipated what happened next, he bent down and reached for my lips and we nearly kissed each other...

I woke up in a puddle of sweat, the electricity had just gone and on top of that, it was like I was living in a desert. I realized that I had been dreaming about all this and I buried my hands in my face. It seemed so real and I felt like an idiot for thinking that it was the reality. It was hard not to think about your boss who made you a nervous wreck and dreaming about him was inevitable. As the temperature was hot, I went downstairs to have some water and after a few seconds, I heard a knock, I had a feeling of deja-vu. Was my dream actually taking place?

there was me thinking it was real n he was using the my car broke down trick ...snap n fudge

then again end line held promise

was very well written I had no clue it was a dream hence the jaw😆

When we have been waiting for the next updated parts of your ongoing FFs since a long time, you have surprised us with such a nice and wonderful OS. I really loved your surprise and hope you do surprise us again and again till the next parts are updated by you, I won't mind for late updates then😉

Coming back to the OS, it was just great and amazing one with a little bit of humor included. I loved some funny punch lines like " who did I expect, alien?"😆 It was so funny😆 So kumud had crush on his boss, saras vyas. It was obvious to see her nervous seeing her boss suddenly to her house and her fantasies and imaginations for saras had overtaken her mind. Saras also seemed attracted to Kumud's beauty (no doubt as Kumud is gorgeous after all😉) and when we were just going to witness some romance of samud as they were going for a kiss, it had been revealed that it was nothing but a beautiful dream of Kumud. And the way you ended the OS is truly a nice ending. Really it seems that her sweet dream was actually going to fulfill with the door knocked by someone😉

Loved this surprising OS very much. Hope to see many more like this from your side😊

Saras whom kumud loved seccretly peeped in n she was so happy.their ice cube scene was damn romantic.but it was only a dream.a knock at the door.as kumud doubts i also doubt...whether its saras like she dreamt of?plz dont stop it here.write part 2 too.eager 2 know who is at the door.

y did u post the os in this thread itself/have u decided 2 keep this thread for an os series?

Well, there is no guarantee that I'll be able to give such surprises

again and again but nothing is impossible, so I might post some more

this is the first time I tried writing using the P.O.V's of the characters as

I normally prefer omniscient narration but I thought to try it out and I
