Kumud's p.o.v,

I glare at the sour expressions on his face. He takes a few steps towards me and utters in a husky voice," I don't like to be questioned and go and get me some water," He then slumps down the chair and removes his phone, scrolling the screen. I do not move from where I am standing, in fact, I march towards him and attempt to kick him out of my suite.

"Get out!" I yell, and he looks at me in confusion. He then blows me a kiss and stays where he is. I am angered by his actions and I take his arm to throw him out but he pulls me onto his lap. I am mesmerised by his beautiful eyes for an instant but I soon recall his actions," What part of 'get out' don't you understand, Saras?"

He places his arms around my waist and leans in. I close my eyes and I feel my heart beats increasing. Damn! I am supposed to be mad at him, I take a deep breath and push myself out of his arms. He gets up swiftly,"Fine! I'm leaving, and stop being so insecure!"

I wasn't going to let him win this argument," Oh really! Now, it's my fault! You're the one who left me waiting in the rain that day, we were supposed to be on a date but instead, I got back home with the flu!" I fume as I cross my arms around my chest. He shuts his eyes and attempts to say something. I know I have been harsh but I did not want a repeat of what happened a week back. Saras and I were dating, we have known each other since a couple of years and we did not realise how we gradually fell in love. In fact, we were planning to get married by next year but then things got ugly. He had been ignoring me since a few months. He used to be late for our dates and the other day, he left me waiting for him two hours in the rain and he had the guts to call me afterwards to say that he had something important to do.

I was really angry at him and after recovering from flu, I took a holiday and came to a resort for the weekend. I was tired and needed some time off. I reached at the resort yesterday afternoon and I was blown away by its sophisticated architecture. This afternoon, I was planning on staying in my suite but then there was a knock at the door, I assumed that it might be the room service but I got a major surprise when I turned the knob. It was Saras! I had not told him anything about my trip, in fact I have been avoiding him since the day he failed to turn up. And, he had the guts to call me insecure!

He raised his hands and proceeded to the door. However, he locked t he door and pressed his index on his temple. I shook my head, feeling the anger diluting. Saras walks up to me and takes my hand in his. I push him away at first but he repeats his action and I don't move away my hand this time, I just avoid eye contact with him as I feel my eyes pricking and a drop of tear sliding down my cheek. Saras cups my cheek and gets me to look at him.

"Hey, I am sorry, I didn't realise that I hurt you so much. I love you a lot and I don't want to lose you," Saras whispers and I feel my anger melting like ice cream under the sun.

End of Kumud's p.o.v

The sky had turned into a light shade of pink. Sunsets in the Carribean were breath taking. Saras and Kumud were on the beach and they had sorted out their differences. The beach was almost deserted.

" How did you get to know that I'm here?" Kumud asked Saras. He smirked," I'm stalking you, love," Kumud faked a gasp and smacked his arm. They were both admiring the sunset and contemplating life. Saras was hugging Kumud from behind and frequently dropped feather kisses on her cheek.

" We should go inside now," Kumud said as she looked around. There was nobody on the beach now. Saras held her hand and stopped her from going inside, "Wait Kumud,"

Kumud's eyebrows knitted in confusion as he got down on his knees. Saras beamed," You might already have an idea of what I am going to ask you, just know that I love you."

Kumud felt that she was the luckiest person in the world. She smiled when Saras got out a ring from his pocket and handed him her hand. Saras slipped the ring on her finger and then stood up.

"I love you too Saras," she said and Saras leaned and connected their lips together. She reciprocated the kiss and the sun soon completely set.

"Arghh! You bloody idiot, couldn't you be on time for your wedding?!" Kumud yelled as she threw her suitcase on the floor. Saras winced as she took a pillow and started to hit him with that. A year after, they had gotten married and they came to the same resort for their honeymoon. However, Saras had reached an hour late to his own wedding which had irked Kumud and she had given him teh cold shoulder during their wedding night and she had even thrown him out of their room. The next day, they had taken the plane to reach their honeymoon destination and as soon as they reached the resort, Kumud vented her frustration.

" It's not my fault, the car had broken down on the way!" Saras said but Kumud kept ambushing him with the pillow," Yeah, of course because it's never your fault," Kumud scoffed. Saras seized the pillow and threw it on the floor. He then pulled Kumud against him and smacked his lips onto hers, without giving her the opportunity to react. Saras deepened the kiss and that's when he felt Kumud kiss him back. They parted from the kiss for a while and Saras said huskily," I won't let you ruin our honeymoon as well,"

He carried her to the bed and soon their clothes were tossed recklessly on the floor and the cover was pulled onto their body as they made love the whole night...
