Part 17

Sharon woke up and sat on the bed rubbing her eyes... Suddenly all the things that happened last night came back to her like a boomerang... Tears ran down her eyes...she quickly got up and gathered her stuffs and ran downstairs... She saw rey and swayam sleeping on the floor... she could see swayam's hair falling on his forehead... She had an urge to feel their touch in her hands for the first and last time... She was about to move ahead but stopped midway...

"nahi Sharon... agar swayam sir ko khush dekhna chahti hai to chali ja usse dur... Tujhe bhi pata hai tere saath koi khush nahi rahega..." She wiped her tears and left...

Meanwhile taani woke up and found Sharon missing beside her... she went down and checked the kitchen but couldn't find her there... She went and woke rey and swayam up...

"Sharon kaha gayi??? Kahi nahi mili mujhe..." She told them...

"kaha jayegi??? Yahi hogi ..." Swayam looked around... "bhai maine sab jagah dekh liya...nahi hai..." Taani panicked... "array babah taani relax... Chali gayi hogi...kaam agaya hoga koi...ruko I'll call her..." rey searched for his phone and dialed sharon's number... She didn't pick her phone... Rey tried for three times but Sharon didn't respond...

"ye phone kyun nahi utha rahi????" rey was worried now... Swayam couldn't understand what was going on... "mai bol rahi hoon...kuch garbar hai..." taani was saying when rey's phone beeped...

"Sharon ka message hai..." He quickly opened the thread... "kuch kaam agaya hai...isiliye I left... Don't worry... and thanks for yesterday..." rey read aloud...

"ajeeb larki hai... kaam agaya tha to batake bhi ja sakti thi... pakarke thodi na rakhte..." Swayam complained and went upstairs to get ready for office...

Swayam was working in his cabin but wasn't been able to concentrate... Sharon has not come to office... "samajhti kya hai apne aap ko haa???? Ye koi restaurant hai???? Jab man kiya ayegi...ane do use... Aaj khayegi daant..." His concern always came out as anger... "kya yaar tu swayam... birthday hai aaj uska... mat daant use..." Swayam said to himself... "kaam tha agar...baata ke bhi to jaa sakti thi..." he was constantly looking at the phone...

Sharon was sitting on the floor of her room leaning on the bed crying her heart out...

"ab tak mere liye sab kuch asaan tha... Coz sirf mai apke liye feel karti thi... but kal jo hua... Mujhe pata hai sir... maine kal apke ankhon mein mere liye kuch dekha... and I am scared... mujhe kisiki care , concern , pyaar iss sab ki adaat nahi hai... aur adaat dalni bhi nahi hai... And the most important thing is aap mere saath khush nahi rahenge..." she kept crying and each call from swayam made her cry some more...

Sharon didn't come to the office that day...the next also she didn't come... After office swayam called rey...

. "Sharon aaj bhi office nahi ayi... Tujhe kuch pata hai???" he asked... "nahi yaar... phone bhi nahi lag raha... aaj bhi ek message kit hi saying she is fine...kaam hai..." Rey was also worried...

"tu abhi aa jaa... hum dono uske ghar chal rahe hai..." swayam started his car... "okay...I'll meet you Inorbit k samne...from there we'll go..." Rey cut the call... Swayam and rey were standing in front of sharon's house continuously ringing the doorbell...

"maam andar nahi hai..." The security guard told them...

"Sharon... I know tum andar ho... ye kya bachpana hai??? Bahar aao..." Swayam shouted from outside... Sharon was standing in front of the door determined not to open it... "swayam...chal chalte hai..." Rey pulled swayam outside...

"array chali ayegi...kaam hai shayad..." rey was worried himself but didn't show it to swayam...

"chali ayegi tab jab wo kahi jayegi... Wo andar hai I am so sure of that...n agar mai sahi soch raha hoon to wo kal office ayegi aur exactly waise behave karegi jaisa I predict..." swayam drove away...

Swayam entered the office and everyone stood up to wish him...he smiled at them and passed sharon's cubicle n found her standing there reading a file... she was holding the file upside down and he was sure that Sharon has started avoiding him...

"miss raiprakash... In my cabin... 5 mins..." He said crisply and walked to his cabin...

After sometime Sharon knocked the door of his cabin...

"come in..." he said... "yes sir... koi kaam tha..." she enetered... "do din office nahi aye tum... kyun???...kitna pareshan the hum log... Ghar gaya tumhara...call kiya...koi answer nahi..." he came directly to the point...

"kuch kaam tha...maine leave application de diya maria ko..." she looked down... "sir agar koi kaam nahi hai...to mai jaun...bohut work pending hai..." "yup sure... But file seedhe karke kaam karna...jaldi kaam ho jayega..." He said sarcastically...

Sharon turned to leave but stumbled over the side table... "ouccchhh..." She hissed in pain...swayam immediately jumped up from his chair and ran towards her,... "dekh ke nahi chal sakti tum???? Baitho... dekhne do mujhe...mai first aid box mangwata hoon..." He held her ankle...

"koi baat nahi sir... nahi lagi hai mujhe... I'll manage..." Sharon got up and left...

"fine... To mai bhi tumse tumhare tareeke se hi deal karunga... I promise Sharon...tum khud aaoge mere paas..." Swayam smiled at himself and walked out of his cabin... He went to maria's cubicle...

"maria... I am leaving... aaj k baki meetings cancel kar do..." he said loud enough for Sharon to hear...

. "okay...par swayam... sab thik hai...???" a confused maria asked... swayam didn't reply but walked out of the office without even sparing a glance at Sharon...sharon closed her file as she saw him moving out...
