Soon the bride and the groom were sitting in the mandap..swayam and Sharon were standing side by side behind them showering rose petals at the couple...
as soon as sharon's parents arrived and swayam instantlyrecognized them as they were in the same profession and knew each other...he went forward and greeted them with a smile ..sharon went and hugged her mom and smiled at her father...
Soon Sharon was called for the "gatbandhan" ...a friend of swayam came and whispered in his ears and instantly swayam looked at the floor and desperately searched for something ...
After the marriage was over and rey and tani had taken the blessings of their elders , rey searched for his shoes...tani rejoiced at that and happily looked at swayam and said
"wah bhai...apne meri wish puri ki??saru se bhai ne behen ki rasam puri karte hue joote churaye??wah wah..."she continued..."accha nek mangna isse...kangal banake chorna..."
Swayam made a puppy face and said
"nehi yaa...kaha chura paya??yeh gadha juta pehenke hi nehi aya shayad...kanjoosss kahika..."
"tu dhoond nehi paya...woh teri galati hai...lekin jute toh mai pehenke aya tha..." rey protested
Immediately Sharon came saying
"joote mere paas hai.."
Swayam was not surprised...he knew Sharon had the potential to do this...after all she was
rey's sister...
"theek hai...joote toh do use...bechara khali payer khara hai.."he said...
"oh ha ...yeh lo..." shaon lifted her ghagra a bit and everyone including swayam was left speechless ...sharon was wearing rey's shoes all this while ...
"mai haar ko bohot seriously leti hoon...yeh sangeet ka badla tha..." she spoke while she opened the shoes and then looked at swayam...now she wasn't afraid of her boss...because she knew that outside the office swayam was only tani's brother..not her "SIR"
Soon their conversation was interrupted by rey's mother who said the procedure of bidai was about to start and they need to leave...wayam's face fell...
Taani was hugging everyone and tears were rolling down her cheek when she noticed that swayam was standing in a corner looking at the floor...she went to him and pulled his sleeves but he didn't look at her...probably he wanted to hide his red eyes from her...when they were kids they always behaved like this when swayam was angry or sad...
"toh bhai aap ko toh bohot khushi hona chahie...aap hamesha bolte the ki mai chali ajungi toh accha rahega ...apko satane wali koi nehi hongi...u used to insist rey to take me with him...toh dekho now he is taking me with him..." taani complained childishly..
Swayam looked at her with teary eyes and said...
"haan toh mai abhi bhi keh raha hoon...ghar shaant rahega ur mujhe chachi aur maa ka undivided love milega..." Then he looked down and sai.."par mera kamrah kaun saaf karega ab??"
"abse alarm lagake sona...kyunki roz subah chillake apko uthane wali ghar se vidah ho rahi hai..."tani said while she rubbed swayam's tears
"thank god ab mujhe adhi raat ko koi jagayega nehi...icecream k lia..." he complained
Both of them laughed while tears poured out of their red eyes...
"u remember bhai?u used to say that mom and kaki loves u the most?? U were right..."
"I m always right.." swayam said and pulled her into a hug...
Then he rubbed his eyes and took taani to rey...
"I know I don't need to say this...par phir bhi...meri eklauti behen hai...sambhal ke rakhna isse.." swayam said and rey nodded..
"aur haa zyada sata bhi lia toh bhi m not taking her back...ab sari zindagi who tera hi sar khayegi..." he smiled...
Both rey and taani left in the car...sharon was supposed to leave in a car after their departure...she saw swayam standing at one corner looking at the car and waving at taani...she saw so much love in swayam's eyes for the first time...she was her parents' single child so she always missed being pampered but today...she missed being loved...
Thinking about this made her eyes teary...swayam saw her looking at the floor and deeply engrossed in some thoughts..so he frowned and walked towards her..
"bidai meri behen ki ho rahi hai...rona toh mujhe chahiye...tum kyun ro rahi hoo??tumhara bhai thori na apna ghar chor k jaa raha hai??" swayam complained like a small child..
Sharon smiled amidst her tears...
"main rey k saath thori na rehti hoon??shaadi thi toh roz ati jati thii..itni mast...itna shor,mai toh bhool hi gayi thi ki rey mera apna bhai nehi hai??"saying this she choked
All this while swayam was looking at the floor but hearing this he looked up,straight into her eyes...the loneliness in her eyes were shouting for a companion...
"baki mera toh koi bhai nehi hai...gharpe akeli rehti hoon...toh itne hangame ki aadat nehi hai...behek gayi thi...mujhe akele rehne ki adat hai..."she continued without looking at him
