What made Arnav think his absence as a grave error? What did PR actually do? Cliffhangers.. cliffhangers..

Great chapter as usual, no surprises here. I think what I like about your ff in the underlined melancholy in each of the situations. Khushi, and the place she works, the declining business and the problems in the horizon, the cold that nk talks about in payal's office, the relationship between arnav and payal, anjali and her life. In all of these situations there is this underlined sadness, that has nothing to do with economics or money. Especially reading about khushi and what happened in the past creates holes in my stomach. I think the next chapter will be even more heart breaking for we will get to know what actually happened that led to khushi leaving college, and what has happened since. I look forward to finding out all of this, yet I am apprehensive too. It makes me sad that khushi has suffered so much. When, or is life ever going to give her a break.
The scene which arnav witnesses where she is laughing with her father was the best part of the chapter.
And talk about ego how big is it for arnav which makes him decide not to be present when khushi will be coming for tea. I still have not been able to figure him out though... Eventually...well
Please continue soon. ...cannot wait. And thank you again

That is exactly what I felt Ocean, the underlying sadness and the bravery in the face of it that somehow gets under your skin without making one sentimental or pitying. It is the petty cruelties of people like Payal, Arnav and Lavanya and the situations that she has little control over that Khushi has to deal with which makes it so poignant and sad.

Khushi is a person with very little agency and yet she finds the inner resources to deal with whatever gets thrown at her.

I loved your comment Ocean!

Loving reading all the comments written by all the readers.👏

Its nice to read and think about so many perspectives and views on this story.

Human mind is probably the most unique yet the most diverse thing in this entire world. Its amazing to read how each one of the reader has interpreted and analysed the story in their own unique way.

Radhika, indeed you are a great story teller to evoke this kind of response amongst so many people. 👏

Good storytelling reveals meaning without committing the error of defining it.

I've been reading this story for some time now but couldn't get myself to comment. So ket me start by saying, this story is amazing. It is very different from all that I've read on A&K and pleasantly so. I really like the way you write, the words seem to have a flow with a crisp writing. Nothing seems forcefully added and the characters are so wonderfully different from the ones we had in the show. The Arnav here is my favorite and Khushi is a mystery. There are so many layers to her and with each chapter we discover a new one. And apart from the leads, it is Anjali who has won all my affection and I quite like the bond the siblings share. Payal, NK, Aakash, Poonam Raizada, Lavanya and Aman, they all have a story to them and it's a pleasant change when such attention is given to every other character.

Another thing which I really really like about this story is the dynamics all these characters share. Arnav and Khushi have never been friends but they have also known each other for too long to just call it an aquintance. So something major happend which made Khushi abandon her studies, I cannot wait to know what. And with Aman's return, we might get a little more insight into the past. He is another character who has a lot to tell. Hopefully more about him in the next comment(?)

Beautiful story recommended by another reader . Love the way you have sketched out the characters and how they go about their daily lives.
Khushi just can't seem to have a winning hand. Waiting to read more.

Admire the fact that Khushi is resilient. She lost her job, but sprang back up and found another one. It's easy to wallow in self-pity, but she chose not to. She deserves all the respect and more from the likes of Arnav.

Loved the tender moment Arnav and Khushi shared when he goes to invite her.

I think Arnav is so wrong in understanding her flustered behavior with him. I think she indeed has a crush on him, which she probably won't even admit to herself, and all that perceived lack of trust on Arnav is an attempt to guard her own emotions around him? I could be way off the mark on this. Waiting eagerly for Radhika ji to tell more of this story.

If Arnav indeed wants to fix things that went wrong 5 years ago because of his mom, why wait 5 years, until he chanced upon her? He does know that she lives in Chandni Chowk. I am interested to see why no action from Arnav last 5 years Radhika ji.

According to Arnav, Aman does like Khushi. But he indeed has a weird way of showing it by troubling her so much when they were in school. Do Arnav, Aman and Akash, all three have some romantic interest or soft corner towards Khushi? It's going to be interesting to see Aman-Khushi, Akash-Khushi relationship.

With each chapter you make us more curious, more eager. Building up more suspense than what you reveal. I for one, absolutely loving it. Well done Radhika ji.

Eagerly waiting for next chapter.
