Also, thank you for continuing with the present chapter - don't know what I would have done without knowing what was in that envelope for so long.
Speaking of the gift - I was definitely not expecting that. Payal is spot-on, Arnav definitely has a Khushi-complex - why else would he keep this and why would he still remember her birth date? To be honest, I don't know what the point is of him giving Khushi the check at this point - it could have helped her even a little when it was originally issued, so there's really no point in giving it now as it just shows he was not sympathetic in his youth at all. The certificate I can understand, but check was weird - but I guess it shows that Arnav was just a little too self-involved when he was younger and didn't truly care for others.
Akash's gift on the other hand was just priceless (I love nerdy math references!!). Since Akash is in the Bay Area, I think I will have to start stalking him soon😆 He is one character that has been consistently nice, friendly and sincere - a true treasure!!
In so many of the chapters, I want to excuse many of Arnav's fault's or behavior by saying he was young and immature, but a college-aged Arnav should have known better than to leave Khushi alone at that train station. That was absolutely horrible😡
One line that stood out, "He felt the need to reassure and clarify her that he was not her stalker. Yet." LOL does Arnav plan on becoming her stalker?
Arnav's observation of Khushi was very interesting. He can see through her in some ways, but in other ways, I feel like he can't see past the surface. I don't know how explain that thought clearly, but I just had to say that😆
Wow, I was not expecting that Tewari explanation!! I wonder if Shyam was a Tewari or Gupta and if that's the reason her dad was distancing himself from the family...whatever the case, I really hope Khushi goes to meet her parents soon and put an end to this awkward. The notes from the past shows such a loving close-knit family, so it's hard to see them so distanced in the present😕
Poonam Raizada😡 She is just not a pleasant person. And her absence scares me - I feel like she's up to something.
Aman is seeking out Khushi and having lunch with Payal - why is he ignoring his one time best friend?? This seems very interesting.
Payal's dad knows he's about to ruin Khushi and still wants to give her a warning through Payal show he has some humanity left in him - Payal however doesn't seem to inherit that quality😕
LOL at Payal's dad for referring to Arnav as Payal's boyfriend😆 A marriage between these two would not even seem like a real marriage, from what we have seen thus far. Honestly, I'm beginning to think that Arnav has some real self-esteem issues and has "settled" for Payal because he's afraid of getting emotionally involved/hurt...and Payal has "settled" for Arnav because he doesn't want to change her and puts up with her bitchy self.
Looks like the showdown between Khushi and the INP will be going on soon - hope she will get out of it unscathed. Each update leaves me so sad for Khushi - this girl needs some happiness in her life, ASAP!!
