Hello all!
Introducing a new film story...
We see love stories everywhere. Whether its in classic novels or masterpiece films, or even real life.
But are love stories perfect?
The answer is no. Yet, despite this, Raj Mehta (Shahrukh Khan), is a devotee of love. His whole life centers around spreading the ideals of love as he has fulfilled his own love story with his wife, Nandita
( Kajol).
Story revolves around Raj and Nandita and the stories of their two daughters, Nisha (Parineeti Chopra) and Shanaya (Meryl).
Nisha got married to Sidhant Singh AKA Sid (Sidharth Malhotra) after the two were seeing each other for a year. Though their life after marriage has been normal, Sid feels out of place in this new stage of their relationship.
Shanaya just graduated from college. She is the pampered, prissy girl with high maintenance and low tolerance levels. Hence, she fails to understand Raj, her own dad, as she feels that love is nothing more than what we see in fairy tales. Her personality catches the attention of Anaan Arora (Varun Dhawan), a hard working, middle class boy whose witty, happy-go-lucky personality does not do well with Shanaya.
And hence we see...Thrice Upon Ishq.
Three stories of six individuals bounded at different stages of love which show that no matter how old, love is gold.
