Who is that guy with mustache in the train? I don't think its Arnav.is it Shyam?

This update was a bit surprising for me to start with. A 20 year leap, now this was really unexpected.

Loved the North and South Indian combo in Khushi's house.

Shashidhar Rao - Very unique and innovative name for Khushi's father. Keep the original Shashi from IPK intact and change it according to the present story. Very intelligent Sandhya. 👏

Description of Bangalore - ghar ki yaad dila di aapne.

Did Shashi and the family move out of Ooty due to the disappearance of Anjali? Did they blame Khushi for that? Whatever the reasons were, looks like Shashi and Garima did make it big on their strengths. Glad that they succeeded in their careers and today they have respect in the society.

Khushi's choice of profession - A crime beat journalist. Again interesting. Sandhya you never cease to surprise me.

Poor Khushi, living in a guilt for twenty years. What a horrible impact on the mind of a 8 year old when her best friend goes missing never to be found again. And Shashi is indeed right, she tries to see Anjali is every victim. But I am glad she is going back to the place where it all began. Khushi needs closure badly and hope she gets it there and inturn she find peace for her heart and soul.

The guy observing her in the train, is it Arnav or Akash???

Now why is she tying the rubber bands on her wrist and pulling and releasing them? Is this some kind of cure for anxiety? What is it called?

It's regret, i think that really is the worst kind of pain, yeah guilt is bad, and sadness is bad, but regret is the sickly combination of both.

Anjali disappeared? I still can not accept it...I had thought she would have had an accident and may be handicapped in some way as a result but disappeared? OMG!!!

Khushi appears tortured and tormented, not finding any peace in life. She has made the right decision to go and face the past. She feels pressured by her own psyche to live two lives.

The family fight scene was so harrowing with all of them showing their insecurities. The parents who after having done their best are showing their disappointment and anguish and Khushi failing to make them understand what drives her actions.

I don't know who the man in the train is but please please do not let him be the older brother. I just can not handle my dream hunk to have a mustache and full lips...no...no full lips...not happening.

The poor girl is so damaged! Even after 20 years. Is HH still alive? What had happened to her? Why does Khushi feel that she was the one to have been abducted?

when I read the prologue it shook me to the extent that for nearly 3 days I could not stop worrying about Anjali and more than her about Khushi.My heart just cried out for both of them.Two innocent children robbed of their little world. A rude shock not just for them but for us readers too. I was literally drawn into their world and was silently walking the path alongwith them and whosh a fog descended and when it cleared nothing remained except for some fading faraway shrieks and cries and wails ... the reality was very daunting...

two years or twenty doesnt matter when time has stopped right there on that omnious deepavali...the toy train - a journey into the past and comes to a halt somewhere just after that day, that age...

thanx for the update...pls continue soon 😊

ps on second thoughts were those three poor kids by any chance the Morai sisters...*sigh*

Interesting update.

Pain, hurt, disappointment, guilt, loss and angst. All so mixed up in one form. Khushi. She lost her childhood friend, her soul sister that day 20 years ago and is still living with the guilt of that day, that she is not able to move on.

And now her parents too realized the effect that incident had on her and is still affecting her.

The admirer in the train, had to be Arnav???

Did I read it right, as I had my own doubts after reading the prologue, that it had to be Khushi who should have been abducted coz that car outside the mansion saw her going in the mansion in those clothes.
