I am not a parent, but I know that if my parents ever got a call accusing me of ruining her sister's marriage who in turn attempted suicide, my mother would hang up with a "get lost" and my father would warn her to not ever call our home again!! Neither of my parents would indulge an outsider with any sort of conversation nor do they care about what people might say. They would mention the call to me and be there for me to discuss anything I want with them. They may not agree with my choice but they will never try to enforce their choice on me.

However, I would not tolerate this caller and she would face my wrath for calling my parents. I can be a really nasty "female dog". 😉
