Chapter 7
I closed my eyes tightly, wishing that maybe I could just fall asleep. I was exhausted, sore, hungry, scared. All I wanted to do was drift away to unconsciousness, not be here where I was right now, naked and hurt lying in his bed, but I knew that not even in my dreams I would be able to escape this.
I moved my bare legs to the side of the bed and grabbing the towel and clothes strode to the bathroom, dragging my sore legs through the floor, not being able to lift them. I tossed everything on the floor and went straight to the shower, I didnt even want to look at myself yet. I turned the keys and the water started running quickly, I jumped as the cold water hit me, but didnt change it to hot as I let it rinse all the dirt and blood from me. I sighed and slid down to the floor, my legs giving up. I sat there under the cold water as tears started to come out of my eyes.
I turned the keys so the water would be hotter when all the blood was washed off unsteadily stood up, leaning a hand on the wall to regain balance. I took a deep breath to relax myself, then another. I washed my hair through with some shampoo that I found, probably not a very good one and washed my body with soap, gasping in pain when my hands went through my wounded areas.
I was finished but I didnt want to get out, fearing what would be waiting for me, so I stayed there, in the shower, standing under the hot water, just trying to relax. I lost track of time but when the water started getting colder I sighed, turning the handles off and stepping out to the bathroom. I grabbed the towel and dried myself carefully. I put of the new pair of boxers he had given me and his shirt. I glanced up to find a fogged mirror and sighed, wiping my right hand through it to reveal a sick looking sanyukta, with bags under her eyes and a bruise on her lip, a bad bruise. It was a dark purple color and it extended for a big amount of skin. I reached my hand to touch it but pain shot through me and I quickly moved my hand away. My eyes widened at the amount of marks I had on my neck and jaw. They werent even all hickeys, I had literally just bite marks on my skin. I was a living mess to say the least. I winced at my look and moved away from the mirror, not wanting to look at myself anymore. I walked out of the bathroom while towel drying my hair, every action I did was extremely slow because of my soreness and exhaustion.
I left the towel hanging in the door knob of the bathroom and made a pathetic attempt to comb my dark hair with my finger but it was no use so I just forgot about it. I left the room and walked back down just as Randhir had told me to do. I found him on the kitchen eating what I presumed was reheated Chinese food. He turned to look at me as I stood in the entry, hesitant.
"You're probably hungry," he waited and I slowly nodded "there's a lot of food, have whatever you like". I nodded again but stayed at the entrance of the kitchen for a little while; he went back to eating and flicked the pages of some book he was reading. I watched him for a couple of minutes until my stomach growled and I made my way to the fridge to find something to eat. I opened it and after eyeing everything I just settled for making a sandwich. I grabbed ham and cheese and put them on the counter. The bread was at my sight next to the toaster so I opened the bag and took two slices of white bread. I finished preparing everything and settled on a stool in front of Randhir, not wanting to sit next to him.
As I sat he looked up at me, a small grin on his face, "what do you want to do today?" I was dumbstruck, was he actually asking for my opinion here? I wanted to say I want to go home' or Anything that doesn't involve you' really everything that I could have thought of would have probably ended with me getting another pair of bruises so I kept quiet, staring back at him.
"Sanyu ..."
"Whatever you want is fine" I whispered, looking at my sandwich and taking a bite, not wanting to look at him anymore.
"So movies it is" he closed the book in front of him and put his plate on the dishwasher. He came back and sat again, this time on the stool next to me, just what I had wanted to avoid before. He moved his hand to my face, locking his finger under my chin and tilting my face to the said so I was looking at him. My eyes met his for a second before he moved his to the left side of my mouth, his smile fading from his face. His thumb ghosted over the purple mark and my swollen lip and I hissed in pain, closing my eyes. I could feel him moving closer but I didnt open my eyes. He left a kiss on my bruised spot, his lips lingering there for a few seconds, gently, before pulling back; his hand leaving my face. I slowly opened my eyes to look at him. "I'm sorry I had to do that"
I didnt answer, but kept eating while he watched me in silence. I put my plate on the dishwasher as well when I finished, eyeing my wrists to notice the dark marks I hadnt seen before, Randhir had left bruises on them as well the night before, I shuddered at the memory.
I stood still, facing the sink, my back to Randhir. I couldn't look at him as the images of last night shot through my mind in fast motion. He stood up from his stool and I felt him walk to me until he was just behind me. His hands snaked through my waist holding me close to him; that had always been something that I loved: when a man holds you from behind. But when he did it, it frightened me, and he knew it. He kissed the top of my head and walked us to the leaving room where he had previously been with his friends.
"Where is everyone?"
"They left after the game ended, when you decided to stay upstairs and take the longest shower in the world". He chuckled lightly. I was confused, Randhir would change so much. It also amazed me the way he addressed events: decided to stay upstairs and take a shower' rather than decided against having sex with me, puked, got rapped and, then, showered.
He let go of my waist and made his way towards a pile of movies in front of a blu ray. He picked a case and set everything up, then moved back towards me and grabbed my hands, moving us to the couch where he sat with me next to him, putting his arm across my back and holding me close to him.
In any other occasion, I swear, this is the cutest of things: when you just cuddle with the person you like and watch a movie with his arm draped across your back, getting cozier until you finally start making out and hug and it's all sweet. But with Randhir? I was scared, to say the least. The fact that I couldnt figure him out startled me. This is the guy who was forcing me to have sex with him just about an hour ago and now he was hugging me, while we were just gonna watch a movie? No.
I stiffened under his touch, I wasnt able to focus on the movie that started playing, especially since it turned out to be one of dose romantic comedies, you know, those light hearted films you watch on a lazy Sunday. I wasn't about to pretend I was here on my own will, with my loving boyfriend. He sensed my change and sighed.
"What?"
I froze at that word. What? Did he expect an honest answer?
"I..." I sighed "I don't understand"
He chuckled lightly "You never seem to understand much"
My blood started boiling, if there was one thing that I hated, was when people called or insinuated that I was dumb. I may go out to clubs, drink, party, whatever you want; but that doesn't mean I'm some brainless skank. I'm pretty smart if I say so myself, I love learning stupid facts or things that I find interesting. One time on vacations, it was an absolutely boring week so I started learning all of the countries' flags, and I did. Just because.
"Don't call me stupid" I snapped.
"I didn't. But would you rather be watching a movie with me and then having s*x or do you prefer to skip the movie part?" He smirked at me. My eyes grew wider as the words left his mouth, my body freezing in the spot. I unconsciously held my breath as He chuckled, again, stroking my arm lightly. "That's what I thought"
I couldn't take my eyes away from him, his words stabbing my whole body, the expectation of what would happen after this hunting me.
"Don't you like that movie?"
"Not really, no." I forced the words out of me, looking away from him.
"Pick something else then" He gestured towards the pile of movies. I slowly stood up from the couch and went to check on the cases. I didn't want to watch a comedy and I certainly wasn't in the mood to watch a romantic movie. Horror movies would just make me move closer to He Who I Wanted To Escape From so no. I rummaged through them as Randhir watched me. Eventually I found a movie that not only was it one of my favorites in forever but it was also more than two hours long. I put it on the blu ray and went back to the couch, sitting slightly away from Randhir so I wouldn't be too obvious but we weren't touching. He noticed and grabbed me by my arm pulling me closer to him, I sighed.
As the movie started playing he turned to look at me "The Shawshank Redemption? Really?"
"One of my favorites" I shrugged, trying not to look scared. Even though he wasn't making anything to scare me, he did. I didn't know why, but he did, and he knew it, which is what I presume caused the small smile that was forming in his face to appear.
I most accept that even if he was a monster, he had an adorable smile, and his eyes twinkling, something that everyone always loved. Me? I liked them and thought they were cute, but I didn't fall for them..!
Time past while we watched the movie in silence, none of us ever moved. I thought if I moved even the slightest bit then he would grab me tighter which was the last thing I wanted. Around and hour later I felt his hand stroking my arm, his fingers ghosting over my skin. The air was chilly because of the open windows and that combined with his touch gave me chills. I tried to ignore him and focus on Red as he was narrating the movie but when his hand went lower and started stroking my bare thigh I couldn't anymore. I glanced at Randhir by the corner of my eye to see that he was watching intently the movie, not paying attention to my reaction, but he was smirking, so he knew.
His hand trailed a bit higher and I wanted to move it away but decided against it and tried for one last chance to watch the movie but as it went under my boxers I grabbed his hand and yanked it off me. It was by pure instinct and my brain didn't register my actions until after Harry held both my arms and pinned them on top of me as he threw me with my back lying on the couch and he hovered over me, looking straight into my eyes with his wicked smirk.
"Don't you like it when I touch you?"
"No" I said in a whisper.
He tilted his head to a side in confusion "And why is that, love?" his free hand went under my shirt and cupped my left br**st, gently squeezing it. I didn't answer. "Hmmm?" He dipped his head and kissed my lips, I didn't kiss back, but I didn't move away. He smirked again against my lips as he shoved his tongue inside my mouth, exploring it. A single tear escaped my right eye as I shut them closed, trying to think of anything else.
"Kiss me back"
He kept kissing me but I was lost in my thoughts. My mind traveled to this day I went out with Vids and some of our friends to the woods, we decided to camp out there and made a bonfire, four girls and four boys, Kabir was there too. We got drunk and smoke joints and I don't even remember at what time I finally went to sleep but I woke up half naked in the woods next to Vids.. It was a brilliant night.
"Sanyukta. Kiss. Me. Back" He hit the couch with the palm of his hand as he said the last word which made me jump and brought me back of my memories to see that Randhirs hand was still massaging my breast while the other was running along my sides. I didn't want to but I knew that the next hit wasn't going to be to the couch, but probably my face, so I started moving my lips, Randhir deepened the kiss even more, taking my bottom lip in between his teeth and nibbling, which earned a small moan from me. He smiled and put one of his hands on my bum, sitting down and bringing me back with him, kneeling with one leg at each side of him, straddling him.
He kissed my jaw and neck until he found my sweet spot and he started sucking and his teeth grazed it, making me gasp in pleasure. My hands flew to his neck and curls as he reattached our lips together, his hands running along my skin in my back. He broke contact and rested his forehead against mine, laughing lightly.
"See? Told you, you can enjoy this" My eyes widened at his comment. I had enjoyed it, but I didn't want to enjoy it. I wanted nothing more than to leave, to escape. I moved to the furthest spot of the couch from Randhir as I glared at him. He only laughed louder.
He reached for me again and rested my head in his lap and went back to watching the movie, as if nothing had happened. He played with my hair which felt nice and-No. What was I doing? I didn't know what happened. I just made out with my kidnapper and, liked it? This should have never happened, I should have hit him, no matter what the consequences were, but I let my guard down. I got lost in the moment. That couldn't happen again; I had to find a way to escape. As I looked up to the movie, I noticed it was coming to an end, and Tim Robbins had just escaped from Shawshank.
He had had to go through the drain to get out of there, swimming and crawling in water full of waste for miles, but he regained his freedom and was never abused again, and even if it was like him, I would escape from here.
