They burning roof fell down. He was hell shocked to see it. His respiratory pipe blocked and he breathing was shot. His red shot eyes were flooded gazing his worst nightmare.

He only found veer thrown out and his mouth hit a nearby wall, for which his teeth dug into his lip and blood started oozing out. But both veer and rd was not in the condition to think about him. Both went on searching sanyukta.

He took a breathe when he found her knelt down surrounded by smoke but she was caughing harshly. He was trying to go inside but she was signalling him not to come continuing her cough and then she lied down loosing her senses.

FlashBack

As the roof fell, she noticed it and threw veer out and she herself stepped back. As a result, she was safe as only the parapet section of the roof drifted down.

"sanyuktaaa", he shouted and jumped into the fire. He found her senseless and finding her in that condition, he became breathless. He reached her and placed her head in his lap. He tapped her cheeks but no use. He pulled a random cotton piece from there, wrapped it around her and drew her in his arms.

When he reached the entrance, it fell towards him for which both their arms burnt. Suddenly his eye fell on roof, it was about to slip. He clentched his teeth, took.a deep breath, placed her in his right shoulder and jumped outside. As soon as they were out, the burning house smashed.

Everyone remained numb or simply they were in a huge shock. Here rd lied sanyu down. He observed her. Some parts of her forehead, arms and neck were burnt. The most impostant thing was she was still unconcious and her lungs were not pumping. Continuous tears stsrted rolling from his orbs. He was hell tensed.

R: sanyukta utho. Dekho maine apna promise pura kiya. Main hun.tumhare paas. Kahin nahi gaya main. Dekho sanyukta. Aankhen kholo.(he sobbed). Mera challenge pura nahi hua sanyukta uthho. Please uthh jao.(he sobbed harder). Nahi main tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga. Bilkul nahi.

He pumped her chest, rubbed her palms but all in vain. Getting no other way, he mouth pumped her closing her nose. A few seconds later, she opened her eyes continuing her caughs. As she found rd infront of her eyes, she smiled, struggling raised her arms and caressed his cheek where there was some mark of burnt charcoal. He was relieved as if his life returned to him and smile took place in his lips.

"randhir", she moarned and again fainted. He quickly placed her in his car and rushed to the hospital.

~~CITY HOSPITAL~~

He rushed into the hospital carring her in his arms to a doctor.

R: dr emergency.
Dr: oh my god. Burns to kaafi gehre hein.

R: dr ye breathe nahi kar rahi thi. Mouth pump dene k baad hosh me aayi fir faint ho gayi.
Dr: alright hum check up kar lete hein.

After check up
Dr: shock ki wajah se faint ho gayi hai par ye sab hua kaise.

R: dr ye aag k andar thi. Ise cough bhi bahut ho raha tha.
Dr: Shaayad inhe smoke allergic hogi usse.

R: meri sanyukta thik to ho jaayegi na dr.
Dr: oh yes yes. She will be fine bus kuch dino me thik ho jaayengi. Breathing me thodi problem ho sakti hai, isliye oxygen dena pad sakta hai. Uske liye hospital me kuch din rehna padega aur burns bhi kuch dino me thik ho jaayenge.

R: aur sense kab kak aayega.
Dr: bas ek do ghante me aa jayega.

R: thank you dr main bata nahi sakta how relieved I am now.(shook his hands)
Dr: oh you too have burns.

R: haan wo thoda sa.
Dr: oh no no. Ye serious burn hai. Inhe bachate waqt lag gaye honge.

R: apko kaise pata?
Dr: well young man, your eyes describes the whole story, how worried you were finding her in that condition. Now lets dress up your burn.

After dressing

When Rd was sitting quitely resting his forehead on his fist on a bench., Veer arrived with TinTin. He rushed to rd and placed his tiny palms on his thieghies for which his concentration shifted to veer. He had tears in his eyes, which veer wiped out with his little fingers.

He weeped even more and hugged him tightly.

T: bhaiya didi thik hein na. Ap ro kyun rahe hein.
R: wo thik hai bas uski haalat nahi dekhi jaa rahi. Abhi bhi behosh hai.

V: koi baat nahi dost wo thik ho jaayegi.
R: dost? Us din to bahat bhaw kha raha tha.(he ashed confusingly)

V: us din tum maska bhi to bahat laga rahe the.
R: aur aj kya hua jo tu sidha teer se phool ban gaya.

V: tumne meri didi ki jaan bachayi. Tumko unki fikr hai to tum mere dost hue na.
R: jaa nahi karta main dosti. Itna shaana ban raha tha tu.

V: meko pata hai tumhe didi ko patana hai iskiye maskaa laga rahe the. Offer abhi valid hai fir gaya to dekho haan.
R: tu to sach me chaalu hai. Chal dost.(shaking hands)

R: aaa.. TinTin isko le jao. Ise chot lagi hai. Kisi nurse se dress karwa lo. Main sanyukta k ghar se phone karke aata hun. In sab me main bhul hi gaya.
T: thik hai bhaiya ap apna khayaal rakho.

He brought out sanyukta's phone from his pocket and dialled her dad's no. Before he could say anything, anju snatched that phone.

A: sanyu tu thik hai na. Kabse tujhe phone laga rahi hoon. Lag bhi nahi raha. Kahan reh gayi tu, raat k 9 baj rahe hein beta.
R: g sanyukta.

A: kaun hein ap? Aur sanyukta ka phone apke paas.
R(in mind): agar meri identity di to pata nahi kya hoga. Kya bolun.

A: hello.
R: g.. g main city hospital se bol raha hun. Sanyukta ka accident ho gaya hai.

A: kya? Kaise? Meri bachi.
R: dekhi koi tension ki baat nahi hai. Wo ab thik hai. Ap sab bas yahaan aa jaayiye.

With this he hung up the phone. He then rushed into sanyukta's room. She was still unconcious with oxygen mask on her mouth. He held her hand and pecked it.

R: kya zarurat thi sanyukta hero nanne ki. Kuch ho jaata to. Tumhe pata tha tumhe smoke se allergic hai fir bhi apne apko musibat daala tumne. Kyun? Isiliye na ki aj jo haalat tumhari hai wo meri na ho. Tumne ye soch liya ki mujhe kuch ho na jaaye par ye nahi socha ki tumhe kuch ho gaya main kaise jiyunga.

Within seconds her whole hand was wet from his tears. He was sobbing badly.

R: ab uthh jao na. Please. Dekho firse apna promise yaad dila raha hoon. Jab bhi apni ankhen khologi main hunga tumhare saamelne. Uthho na sanyukta, main nahi dekh sakta tumhari ye haalat.(he said continuing his sobs)

Suddenly her fingers started moving slowly. He noticed it and a smile crept in his moistureless lips. But meanwhile her family rushed in.

An: tu.. tu yahaan kya kar raha hai. Kisse puchh k aaya tu yahaan pe. Meri behen ko haath lagaya tune.

He grabbed his color and pinned him to the wall harshly.

SHAADI JHAMELA - Chapter 6 - Fire

Recap: sanyu shock... Rd rock ... NEXT...

They reached the NGO. As they reached there, sanyu gathered them and declared about the gifts. Every child was smiling.

Child1: didi ye bahut accha hai. Thank you.
S: beta ye main nahi laayi. Ye laaye hein. Ab sab koi inhe thank you bolo.

Child2: par didi ye kaun hein?
S: yeh(she confused)

They both stared each other struggling for an answer. She was about to say something, just then rd spat.

R: main. Tum sabka dost hun. To main tum sab k liye gifts laaya. To tum log mujhe ek hug to kar hi sakte ho.

He knelt down and everyone hugged him in unison. Everyone was giggling there and she was busy staring rd who was much more engrossed in the kids to notice her. Smiled and went on a war of her thoughts.

S(in mind): bacho k saath bilkul bacha ban gaya hai. So innocent he is. Jab bhi uski aankhon ko dekhti hun, mera khud pe control nahi rehta. Pata nahi kya par kuch to hai.

Her chain of thoughts was brokes by those deep brown orbs through which he asked 'what'. She shook her head continuing her smile and joined them.

R: bacho mujhe tumhare saath khelna hai. Kheloge mere saath?
Children in unison: haaan

R: to tumhari didi ko bolo humare saath khelen.
Childeren: chalo na didi.

Finally she agreed and everyone started playing. Sanyu was blind folded and everyone started revolving around her. Suddenly rd found a wicked idea. He ticked on her waist and ran away. She giggled and followed him but could not find. After few seconds, he himself reached, so that she could caych him. Finally she caught him and unfolded her eyes to find him constantly staring her grinning face with a long smile. Their eyes latched for a small cute eyelock which broke on children's shout. For which, they jolted and fell on ground loosing their balance. Now rd was over her for another eyelock.

Kitne dafe dil ne kaha
Dil ki suni kitne dafe

Waise toh teri na mein bhi
maine dhoond li apni khushi
Tu jo agar haan kahe
toh baat hogi aur hi

Dil hi rakhne ko kabhi
Upar upar se sahi keh dena haan

With this, the sun crept down and it was evening time now. Both bid a good bye to all and stepped into the car.

~~CAR~~

R: tumne apna pura time mere saath bitaya. Kuch opinion change hua ya abhi bhi wahi hai.
S: ye to time hi bolega. Pyar hai koi game thodi.

Few minutes later she dozzed off on his shoulder. He glared at her and settled her comfortably for which, she caged his strong arm with her tiny grips. He smiled at her innocence.

Kitne dafe hairaan hua main yeh soch ke
Uthti hai ibaadat ki khushbuein
kyun mere ishq se
Jaise hi mere honth yeh
chhoo lete hain tere naam ko
Lagey ke sajda kiya
keh ke tujhe shabad ke bol de

Soon they reached and once again he stared her. He adjusted her locks behind her ears for which she woke up. They were again lost in each other.

Yeh khudai chodh ke
Phir aaja tu zameen pe
Aur jaa na kahin
Tu saath reh ja mere
Kitne dafe dil ne kaha
Dil ki suni kitne dafe

S: aaa.. I am sorry pata nahi main kab so gayi.
R: its okey. You did not sleep last night in stress.

They returned their respective homes, finished their routine and reached their bed for sleeping. The condition was same with both, the only difference was she was confused and was in love. Sleep was far away from both their eyes. They twisted and turned but could not sleep. Finally decided to call each other, grabbed their phone, dialled their number but soon disconnected.

Sandhir: so raha hoga, so rahi hogi.

They again faught to sleep, still their condition was same.

R: so rahi hogi to nahi uthhayegi. Par kisi k paas soyi hogi to. Message karta hun.

R: SLEEPING?

Her face glew up, a smile crept on her face and she replied.

S: NO, NIND NAHI AA RAHI.
R: ITNI TIRED THI FIR BHI.
S: HAAN WO CAR ME SO GAYI THI NA. SHAAYAD ISLIYE.

R: JHUT BOL RAHI HO.
S: KYA?

R: HAAN. AAJ K SAARE MOMENTS YAAD AA RAHE HONGE
S(in mind): ise kaise pata chala.

R: KYA HUA SO GAYI?
S: NAHI WO AISE HI.

R: ACHHA KOI PAAS HAI KYA?
S: NAHI.

Finally he called her up and she recieved the call. They continued their convo the whole night.

tere saath udte hue
Aasmaani dukaanon se dhoond ke
pighla doon main chaand yeh
Tumhaare in kaano mein
pehna bhi doon boonde banaa
Phir yeh main soch loon
samjhegi tu jo main na keh saka

A week passed and equally their meetings increased. Deal was final and most of the time she used to be in shekhawat industries. Her feelings towards him Increased still she did not confess him.

~~SANYUKTA'S NGO~~

Rd was busy with children and sanyu was sitting quitely on bench lost in her thoughts.

~~SANYUKTA'S POV~~

How caring is he! How quickly and keenly he has made my life his! He is devine, loving, ready to take all his responsibilities. Why am I thinking all these? Am I really falling for him? I will give him a chance but what will be the result? His mom...will she agree? What if she repeats those again? And my family..what about them? No one will agree. Oh god. Please do a miracle which will reply all these questions and also solve these problems.

Soon she came out of her trance as veer called her.

V: didi chalo na. Hum sab luka chhipi khel rahe hein.
S: nahi bacha ap dost k saath khelo main baad me aaungi.

But she lost infront of his stubborness and joined him. It was rd's turn and everyone was hidden. But she was just standing near the door, same position veer left her. It was not a tuff task to find her. Soon he reached her.

R: heyy. I got you.(he said in excitement)

She was standing emotionless. He grabbed her shoulder and stared her for her wierd behaviour. He found something unsual and raised her face cupping it. She gazed into those brown orbs and tear drop escaped from her eyes. He got tensed and started soothing her. But she hugged him tightly and sobbed placing her head on his chest. He caressed het hairs hugging her back.

R: sanyukta. Game hi to hai. Isme itna rone ki kya baat hai.
S: rd. Main.. Main tumse alag nahi hona chahti.

His eyes welled up and he kissed her hairs. He soothed her rubbing her back.

R: shh sanyukta. Chup. Main hun yahaan. Main kahin nahi jaunga tumhe chhod k. Kabhi nahi. Par hua kya to bolo.
S: rd.. I.. I..

She could not complete as they heard the voice of tintin. "aag..aag..", he shouted. Sandhir rushed towards the outhouse, where everyone was gathered.

S: ye aag kaise lagi.
T: didi shaayad short circuit ho gaya.

S: par veer kahan hai.
C: didi wo andar chhupa tha.

S: kya? Oh god main uske leke aati hu..
R: sanyukta paagal mat bano. Aag bahut tez hai.

S: to kya main veer ko aise marne k liye chhod dun?
R: main laata hun usko.

S: rd tum bachon ko sambhalo. Please main paati hun use.

Rd was panicing badly almost crying. Just then a piller fell down. Thankfully it fell before she enter. But he was hell scared that he shouted her name widening his eyes.

"I am fine rd", saying this she tied her dupatta on her mouth and entered inside. She searched veer and finally found him sitting on a cornor hell scared. As he heard her pronouncing his name, he rushed towards her and hugged him tightly. She opened her cotton dupatta and wrapped around him. Somehow they reached near the entrance.

Finally rd took a relief to get a view of her. Tears made their way and a smile crept it. But soon his expression changed, his eyes widened and he became emotionless as he saw the burning roof fell down.

PART ( I )

Morning 6:30 a.m.

The night passed and morning approached. As usual sanyu's mom called her but Sandhir were in each other's embrance inside blanket.

She was in deep sleep placing her head on his chest. When they slept, they did not know. Anju called again knocking the door. Finally sanyu woke up. She noticed her mom calling shouting her name.

She was jolted to find herself in that condition. She then tried to wake him up.

S: rd uthho.(she said shaking him)

R(murmering): sone dijiye na maasa. Bas 5 min.

S: uthho rd main tumhari maasa nahi hun. Aghhh

She whispered and disgusted too but he was still sleeping.

S: kya karun. Ye to kumbhkaran nidra me ghode bech k so raha hai.(she said bitting her nail of her right hand thumb) kya karun. Door to kholna padega.

She got down from bed and advanced towardsthe door. She opened the door a few inches.

S: haan maa.

A: kya kar rahi thi tu.

S: maa maine medicines liye the na to nind thodi deep ho gayi thi.

A: ye kya darwaza pura khol.

S: aaa nahi.. Mera matlab hai ka.kal raat thh..thode se jal rahe the ba..b..burns to k..kapde utar k soyi thi main. Aa to apne bulaya to hadbadi me bina pehne aa gayi. Koi baat nahi main ready hoke niche aati hun na.

A: thik hai jaldi aa.

She took a deep breath and closed the door. She clentched her teeth and advanced towards rd clutching a pilow. She was about to throw it but then he twisted towards her in his sleep. Suddenly she stopped gazing at his innocence. She smiled and knelt down. She slightly pressing his nose and pouted.

S: abhi bhi bacha hai. Kitna maasum dikh raha hai sote waqt.

With this, his shiny baby lips grabbed her attention. She bend her head and pecked his lips.

S: good morning Mr. Romeo.(she smiled)

She was leaving, just then he clutched wrist and pulled her over him making her crush on his hard muscular chest. She tried to free herself but he tighened his grip on her waist.

R(murmered): good morning my lady angel.

S(whisper): rd chhodo mujhe. Raat nahi subah ho gayi hai. Sab uthh gaye honge koi aa jaayega.

R: aane do na, kya fark padta hai. Aj pehli bar itne pyar se kisine uthhaya hai. Celerate karna banta hai(he said rubbing his nose with her)

S: is haalat me dekh liya na, tumhari shakal pe zarur fark pad hi jaayega.

R: aj sabko bata dunga ki main tumse pyar karta hun. Aur unka future daamad unhi beti k saath ye sab to kar hi sakta hai.

S: haan uske baad bhai jaayega tumhare ghar. Fir humara milna bhi band aur shaadi bhi cancel kar dega tumhari mom se kehkar. Meherbaani karke abhi jao.

R: ek shart pe.

S: jo bologe wo mazur hai abhi jao yahaan se.

R: thik hai ek aur bar kiss karo.

She kissed his cheek.

R: aise koi kiss karta hai kya. Lips pe karo. Chalo I am waiting.

She first disgusted but finding no other way, she leaned closer to him.

Both buried their eyeslids. Their heartbeats were racing and lips centimeters apart about to touch each other but..but..but.. Meanwhile..

A: sanyu beta. Tune naha dho liya na. Nashta ready hai beta.

She opened her eyes with a jolt and shouted.

S: haan maa. Bas ho gaya.

R: ye sasu maa bhi na subah subah mere romance ko laal jhanda dikha diya. Sach kehte hein log if you are in love, whole world is your enemy.

S(murmering): chup karo aur uthho. Jao yahaan se warna shaamat aa jaayega.

R:(murmered): jab tak tum mujhe kiss nahi karti main jaunga nahi.

S: uff..

S: ab khus. Happy(she said pecking his lips as fast as she could)

He made his way to the window continuing his blabbers.

R: agli bar na sanyukta sum+profit leke jaunga.

S: haan make sure tab hume aise chhup k milna na pade aur bich me poke karne waala koi na ho.

With this he left flying a kiss towards her. She blushed and behaved catching it.

~~RANDHIR'S HOUSE~~

It was the mean time when renuka calls rd every morning. When he entered through window, he found his mom approaching towards his room from balcony. He started bitting his thumbs.

R: hey bagwaan abhi agar in kapdon me raha to kaali baadal aj barsenge nahi kadkenge bhi aur isi taraf aa rahi hai maasa itna time bhi nahi hai ki change kar sakun. Kya karun.

Haan idea.

He threw his tee and shoes under bed and quickely leaned on it covering himself with the duvet. At the very moment, renuka entered and our hero was acting as he was sleeping whole night in his room.

Re: rd bete uthhiye.(she said pulling his banket)

R: 5 minutes maasa.(in his show off sleepy voice )

Re: har roz ka hai apka uthhiye.

Then her vision stuck on his shirtless body(humare liye hot aur uski mom k liye besharmi par mere muh gaana nikal raha hai imagine kar k. "Munda kukkad kammal da".

Ab ye mat bolna grlz ki aise situation agar tum logo k saamne aaye to tum log handle kr skte ho. Sab beharam ho i know including me ). She screamed om him.

Re: ye kaise so rahe hein ap rd.

R: kyun ap to aise baat kar rahi hein jaise pehli bar apne mujhe aise dekha hai. Maasa mujhe nanga paida kiya tha apne yaad hai na.

Re: wo sab to thik hai par sardiyon me kapde utar k sone ki kya zarurat hai.

R: kya maasa. Apka beta itni mehnat karta hai. Apko wo nahi dikhta. Kitna tired hoke aaya tha main, bed be girte hi so gaya, aur ap ho ki.(he made a fake crying face)

Re: accha accha ye drama band kijiye aur jaise fresh ho jaaiye. Hum coffee bhijwate hein apki.

He was about to get down but suddenly he recalled that he had not removed his socks. Renuka was about to pull the banket but he made her stuck with his blabbers.

R: aa..mmm..maasa. Aa..apne aj breakfast me kya banaya hai(he crossed his legs)

Re: aj kyun puchh rahe hein ap?

R: wo maasa aj bahut kaam hai office me to soch raha tha breakfast thoda heavy kar lun(he removed left socks)

Re: lachha paratha, dhhaniye ki chatni aur sabudane ki khhichdi.(he removed his left socks)

R: maasa mujhe jalebi khani hai.(he placed both socks in his pockets)

Re: achha thik hai hum banwa denge.

He got down from the bed, rushed into bathroom and exhaled heavy planting his palms on his waist.

R: meri love story start hone se pehle khatam hone waali thi. Zara sa co-operate nahi karte bhagwaan ji. Ek second pehle blanket uthh jaata ya mere aane se pehle maasa aa jaati to pathetic ending hoti aj.
