Part 19
The Deal was On and whenever Arnav and Khushi came before each other, they remembered it. Khushi was more conscious with her behaviour towards Arnav because she cannot let him win this deal so easily. Arnav had told Jas about this deal just like Khushi told Simran. Afterall these two were the closest friends they had respectively.
Jas: Wow. You have to win it Arnav. But I have a doubt. What if Khushi doesnt forgive you even after that?
Arnav : You are my friend or hers? Here I am repenting over the fact that because of you people I had to face all this humility from a girl and instead of showing me some ways of making things right you are raising such stupid doubts?
Jas: Sorry. But Arnav really we never thought on the Prom night, that things will turn so wrong. Otherwise you know we are not that type of boys.
Arnav: I very well know what type of boys we are. Okay? Just give me some damm idea on how to make her run in my arms?
Jas: Simple. You will have to hire a professional dog.
Arnav: Excuse me? DOG ?
Jas: Yes Arnav. You have no idea how much a girl fears Dogs. Especially when they bark. So you will have to train the dog and make him bark on her or max even run after her. Just be around to help her. She will run in your arms. Fight the dog and win your wife. Hows the plan?
Arnav felt like kicking Jas out of his office.
Arnav: Shut up Jas. If you cant think good at least dont give me such rubbish ideas. Leave man. I will think myself.
Jas: But it was a nice plan Arnav. Think about it.
Arnav: Never. What if the Dog bites her? I cant see her in pain because of my foolish plans. You just leave. I need some time to settle this matter and I definitely dont need your help.
Jas: Okay. If thats what you want. Bye. But if you need me just message okay?
He left and Arnav tried to figure it out . He got a brilliant idea. Googling. Thats the way he will get numerous ideas to woe Khushi. Finally, he thought and opened his laptop .

Shantivan
Since the time Arnav was back from work, he was in the room working on his laptop. He didnt even come down for Dinner. His food was served in the room. Everyone thought he was working on some important project and hence didnt disturb him at all.
After finishing the household chores, Khushi came back in the room. Arnav was already sleeping on the bed and snoring. How can he sleep so casually? Does he even remember the Deal? Or he gave up?
Khushi moved the laptop slowly away from his chest. He was working and suddenly dozed off, keeping the Laptop turned off. It was hard to believe that a playboy like him works so hard.He had all the good qualities in him which a man should but that one nature of his was still making him stand far in her eyes. He might have given respect to his family and the people outside but he had once tried to take her respect by forcing on her. She can never forget that so easily. But he had told her he was been pushed by his friends and was heavily drunk that night. But does that give him a clean chit?
She saw the laptop screen and was very amused to know what web page he was reading, to be more specific, he was investigating on "How to win your wife's heart?" She smiled unwillingly. So reading such nonsense pages he planned to woe her? These stupid ideas will not be enough Mr Arnav Singh Raizada, she thought in her mind and turned the laptop off. But in all this, she cannot forget, he was trying something to make their relation perfect. He knew what mistake he did and now wanted to repent over it and work to win her back. Lets see how long he sticks to this thought and breaks his playboy nature permanently.
Suddenly she heard him murmuring Tina's name in sleep. She was enraged.
"Tina . Tina you cant go. You have to tell me Tina. How. how can I win my wife? Tina. wait."
All her anger was cooled down knowing he didnt dream sleeping with Tina but he was asking her the ways he can win his wife. Not bad. So she had started taking place in his dreams now. He was so much into the Deal that he was thinking about it day and night and even in the dreams. She shut the lamps off and closed her eyes.

Next Day
It was evening again and Khushi was getting ready to go her home and meet her parents. She was applying the Sindoor whene suddenly her phone started ringing. She answered.
"Mrs Raizada? ", the caller asked.
Khushi: Yes. Whose this?
"Mrs Raizada, I am Inspector Shinde, your husband met with a car accident at the D C road. Can you please
Khushi dropped her phone down. Accident? Arnav met with an accident? She felt like her world was collapsing before her eyes. Having no control over her emotions, she ran outside the house to drive at the DC road and check if Arnav was fine. She was crying all the way while driving. She reached the place in about 10 minutes and saw the police removing Arnav's car from the valley with the Crane. She got down and searched for Arnav. Her heart beated faster as she saw her husband sitting on the bench and some man was giving him a first aid. She ran towards him . Arnav saw her coming and got up to tell her he was fine but she had no control. She ran straight into his arms, hugging him as tight as she can and caressed his hair.
Khushi: Thank God you are fine. You have no idea how much worried I was. How did the accident happen? DId you get hurt ?
She started checking his face and arms . There were few scratches here and there.
Arnav: Khushi relax. I am fine. I jumped out of the car on time and called the Police right away. See. I didnt get much hurt.
She wept again pulling him for a hug. He eased her back. Amidst all this , the Deal striked in his mind and he smiled. He kept hugging her and whispered in ears.
Arnav: Khushi tumne kahan tha ki jis din tum daudke meri baahon mein aaogi, tum mujhe apna pati maan logi. Abhi tumne exactly wohi kiya hai.
She opened her eyes. Her body stiffened and she pulled back from the hug. He didnt let her go away though. He cupped her cheeks.
Arnav: I wont mind agar tum mujhe apna pati maan lo.
She kept meeting his eyes.
Arnav: Here I was trying to find ways of woeing you and fulfilling the Deal. Who knew this sudden accident will make me Win? I would have tried that long ago.
He winked whereas she completely shoved him off.
Khushi: You are still bothered about the Deal? Do you realise what my condition was when I got that call? I felt like someone has stabbed me Arnav. I
She started crying and Arnav could not see her that way. Even though she was not ready to come in his arms again,. he forcibly pulled her back and started rubbing her gently. She had no choice but to hug him with the same intensity.
Arnav: Khushi, I am sorry. I didnt mean to hurt you. In fact I didnt even wanted to tell you about this accident. But the Police called you up without my knowledge. Sorry.
Their conversation would have continued if the Police had not intervened. Both Khushi and Arnav pulled back.
Police: Mr Raizada, we will send your car in the Garage. Please have some rest.
Arnav: Thank you Inspector. I appreicate your help. Can I leave for home now?
Police: Sure Sir.
He placed his hand on Khushi's waist who helped Arnav walk till her Car. She made him sit inside and drove back to Shantivan.

He opened his mouth for Khushi to feed the Kheer to him. Khushi looked at him.
Khushi: Your legs have got sprain not your hands. Eat it yourself.
SHe kept the plate aside and was about to get up but he pulled her back on bed.
Arnav: Khushi, I have won the Deal . So technically, you have to consider me as your husband and do everything that I want.
Khushi: In your dreams.
She still showed the same attitude.
Arnav:You are being a spoil sport now. I have won and you deserve to do what I say. So dance for me.
Khushi: Is it so? Then what do you want me to do? I dont think I can do anything you like . I know what your likes are Mr Arnav Singh Raizada. Lap dancing, pole dancing, and so on. I am not made for all this. Get someone else to dance on your fingers. Not me.
Arnav: Rassi jal gayi par bal nahi gaya. (The rope has burnt away but not its strength. ).
Khushi: I am not a rope.
Arnav: But you are my strength.
Khushi: Ohh please. Stop buttering me.
Arnav: I am not buttering. I am serious. You know when I lost the control on brakes, the first thought that came in my mind was, if I will see you again or not. I didnt like the thought that I will die before getting an apology from you. If I would have stayed in the car when it fell down the valley, I could never understand how much you still feel for me, care for me. So I jumped out Khushi. I jumped only because of you and was saved. You are my strength. An unknown yet strongest strength which I had ignored all this time but have realised it today.
He caught her both hands and kissed her knuckles. She closed her eyes. He was making her emotional by his talks. He was slowly becoming the man she always wanted him to be , like in her diary. He had started making his own place once again in her diary today. Someone she wished to write about again after so long years. He kept the kiss short on her fingers and didnt use this opportunity to kiss her elsewhere. This time he didnt wanted to go so fast and spoil everything like before. He wanted to take it slow and beautifully where every moment he makes her realise that she had changed him. She had made him a better man than he was or ever wanted to be.
