My comparing the two has triggered so much of conversation.😆Coming to why I compared it, the similarity which I found in both was how some couples click and some dont. Here Arnav never fell in love with Lavanya. The truth about Aarav's paternity came to the limelight only when he was three, but the marriage was already falling apart before that. Arnav always compromised in the marriage but did not fall in love with his wife.Similarly Khushi never fell in love with Aman, even though Aman would have been the perfect guy for her.Arnav and Khushi instantly found connection with each other even before knowing each other well. That was my only point when I compared it to KANK. I never once thought about the adultery stuff and that they were very much married etc and I did not compare it with this story on those points too.I hope now I am more clear to everyone why I made the comparison.

I absolutely agree with you Jenny, what they portrayed in KANK was pure adultery in my eyes. While I understand they were drifting away from their spouses but it was not over. They were still bound by marriage living together, along with sleeping with one another... bottom line they were still in the relationship as a married couple. Either you try to work on the marriage that is drifting apart if you are still committed to one another or find a way out. Cheating on your spouse while the relationship is active, is considered adultery.Arnav here has moved on even filing for divorce, he has no feelings for La. She is not letting him free, since she believes she is in love with. Two very different situations...

I understood where you saw the similarity..:) Love is an enigma...Two people who have a lot n common can't bring themselves to love one another while two completely opposite people develop this inexplicable connection...And I'm not even talking about physical attraction...The mention of KANK just triggered me to speak against it...because I remember not only was it a vile movie, it had gotten good reviews too from all the pseuds... 😆
