We aren't always open with our opinions and wants as we want our social standing to be as impeccable as possible. So yes, what they do in the privacy of their room is most important because its where they are stripped off their masks and persona and they are exactly who they really are.
Now the question comes - what if Khushi doesn't want what Arnav wants? Arnav seems to be okay with it but in the end he wont be true to his actual desires.
This is applicable to every part of life. I responded to a comment this morning from Eccentrica where she spoke about opposites and symbiotic. Its the same thing - opposites attract. They don't work well in the end.
