Chapter 6- The catch and fall

Arjun looked at his broken car for the seventh time. Oh god ,he thought and at last end up parking it slowly and secretively in the garage. He then made sure no one had seen him and then sneaked into the house .

"Arjun , why are u late today dear"asked Kunti as she saw him entering the house.

"Oh I had gone to Aman's house . " Arjun lied . Actually he had gone to the mechanic to fix the car . The mechanic had said that it would take 40,000 to fix it . Arjun did not have that much amount now , so he had to wait for the month for his pocket money.

"Dear , dear " said Kunti . "The whole chapatti got burnt , where did Ramu go leaving this "

"Arjun please go and change and come down for the dinner your brothers will come soon"

Arjun went up to his room like a obedient son. He then changed and came down . He saw his brothers sitting in the living room . But his eldest brother was missing .

"Karn Bhaiyaa kaha hai "he asked his second elder brother Yuddi.(where is brother Karn)

"Woh apne room me hai change kar rahe hai" replied Yuddi ( he is in his room ,changing )

Arjun headed towards his brother 's room . He had decided to tell the truth to his brother and not hide anything . He saw his brother coming out of the bathroom as he entered the room .

"Hey wat u doing here Arjun" asked Karn seeing him in his room. He noticed Arjun's pale face and was surprised.

"What happen Arjun did u see a ghost or m I looking like one. Why are u so serious did u spoil the your day at school or what " asked Karn.

"Umm yes brother I spoiled it"Arjun replied.

"What did u spoil your day or the school?"

"Actually I spoiled my car ."

"Car?" Asked the confused Karn.

" yeah the one u gave me last month "

" how?"

Now this was getting hard. Arjun was scared but not of his brother's anger but of disappointing him . But now he had to speak out the truth any way.

"I thought of driving it today but it crashed with another one and got damaged. But the mistake of another car , I swear. " said Arjun in one go. He then saw his brother ' s expression changing . His heart started to beat at a high speed. He was ready for any kind of punishment. He thought that now he would get scolding but what he saw surprised him totally. He saw a smile forming in Karn's face.

"You r not angry with me ?" He finally asked collecting all his strength .

"No I m not . Though u made a mistake u had the guts to confess it and speak the truth so I m not angry but surprised that it took u so long to confess it "

Arjun finally smiled at they slowly walked out of the room .

"But why did it take u so long to tell me that and why were u so scared . As if I was gonna eat u up or kill u ,m i so strict to you?"asked Karn faking a hurt look.

"No bro no I was just scared that I would hurt you nothing more " replied Arjun though he knew that his brother knew this. They laughed and joined others at the dining table.

Like always Bheem ,Nakul and Arjun teased other while having dinner. Then suddenly from no where Bheem said aloud

"Hey Nakul remember the girl who was after Arjun in Brother Balram's wedding last year"

" yeah bro how can I forget that beautiful girl who did not leave brother Arjun at all " Nakul said and Bheem laughed aloud. The others at the dining table were having a hard time to control their laugh while Arjun was angrily looking at his brothers .

"What was her name , oh yes Urvashi right !" Bheem said.

"Yes correct Urvashi who gave her one and only heart to bro Arjun and had even planned a marriage with him " said Nakul laughing hard.

Now all the family members burst into a laugh. Even Kunti and Yuddi were laughing hard.

"Yeah did not her MaMa brought a marriage proposal " teased Karn looking at Kunti.

"Yes dear " said Kunti as everyone continued to laugh.

"Mother and brother u also"said Arjun nodding his head in disappointment .

But everyone continued to laugh and even by now shy Sahadev was clutching his stomach due to laughing hard.

Now Arjun had it . He was gonna reply each one of them .

"Good ,laugh at me , but do not forget your situation . Karn bhai what happen to Vrushali bhabi? And Yuddi bhai do not forget that u are the one who always blush and get red as tomato when girls are around . Dear Bheem bhai have u not told anyone about u spending a lot of time with your buissness partner , mis hidamba isn't it . And u don open your mouth at all dear Nakul , u r the one who changes his gf every month . And though u look innocent Sahadev I know that u go to the library just to look at the girls with names like Aariti , Aarchana and something like that . And my dear mother don't u keep contact with miss Naina just to search bride for your sons and hide it with all , huh ."arjun finished his sentence which left everyone in silence. Everyone was as red as tomato as their secret were out. Now it was Arjun' s turn to laugh.

"So why are u all so silent come on, laugh "he said laughing at their faces.

"Oh I got to do an important work bye " said Karn as he quickly disappeared before anything would happen.

"I need to make things ready for the pooja" said Kunti and then she also disappeared . Slowly everyone made excuses and ran away from the table leaving behind a proud laughing Arjun happy at his achievement.

Draupadi woke up late. She was still weary and confused due to the last night dream or should I say nightmare. First I used to have one person in my dream and now I have five , what is this Shambhu she thought as she got ready. She headed towards the school alone as Chitra was to join her afterwards. She was lost in her thoughts so much that she did not see Ullopi walking towards her and bumped with her. Ullopi was shocked as from no where she had bumped into someone and the worse thing was that her file had fallen down which was in her hand and all papers in it flew away . She looked sharply at Draupadi and to her utter surprise Draupadi was not paying attention or even looked as if she was sorry. She felt angry so much that she pushed Draupadi .

Draupadi was lost in her thoughts when she suddenly felt a push. She felt that her one foot was not touching the ground and her body had no balance . She was scared that she would fall down and break her bones and closed her eyes waiting for the worse when suddenly she felt two arms around her. She opened her eyes to find herself in someone's arm not in the floor. And to her surprise she was saved from falling by her greatest enemy , Arjun.

"Tum mujhe kyu pakad rahe ho "asked confused Draupadi.

("Why are u catching me "asked confused Draupadi)

But before she could get the answer he let go her and she crashed to the floor .

"Lo ab chod diya " was his answer.

("Now I freed u "was his answer.) and he walked away.

Tears rolled down from her eyes as she tried to get up . She looked around embarrassed , the girl who pushed her was trying hard not to smile and everyone present there were looking at her ,maybe to give her sympathy or maybe to laugh at her. But she did not care she got up and quickly disappeared from there feeling hurt , embarrassed and angry.

This whole scene was witnessed by Arjun who was standing behind the pillar . As he saw her getting away with her eyes filled with tears he felt guilty . And to his surprise a tear rolled down from his eyes .

Now, it was really nice. From the way the story is proceeding, looks like you are surely going to be one great ArDi Shakespeare. Very innovative and interesting to read, I must say. Then you have surely impressed me at an entirely different level with this update.
