Teaser.

Alya wasn't crying. Her face had a dead look to it. It seemed like she was looking right through everything and at the same time, not looking at anything in particular.

She was oblivious to her surrounding so she didn't hear the door opening and closing. Someone walked in, bringing a strong stench of weed and alcohol. It wasn't until the person hugged her tightly from above that she was jolted out of her trance.

"Babbesss" Mukti cooed. "How ARE you??" her voice bore no trace of sympathy or sadness. She sounded like usual.

"What are you doing here"? Alya forced herself to formulate a sentence, he voice has become croaky due to the lack of use in the last several hours.

"I didn't feel like going to the CBI office" Mukti replied as she pushed Alya to make some space for herself on the narrow bed. Alya got up abruptly despite the pain, she didn't meet Mukti's eyes.

"Leave...right now. I don't want you here".

"How come Pia never told me about all this?" Cabir frowned, looking at the ground.

Nandini shrugged and replied "why would anyone narrate their sexual abuse story to someone they've known for hardly a few weeks"?

Manik looked nervously between the both. After a long pause where no one spoke, Cabir exhaled and said in a rush- "I have received two calls from some private number. I don't know who the person is but he told me to look around myself. What do you think it implies"? he finished and looked up at her in hope.

Manik looked shocked. Nandini, however frowned at this piece of information.
