Part 8:

Next Day,

In AR,

First time in his whole life, he was guilty for his own act. He was thinking if she really meant to resign or she just said it in the flow. He interrogated Aman about Khushi's presence in the office, the which he replied that he doesn't know about that as she is Arnav's PA and only he would get the notifications regarding her presence or absence. He left feeling disappointed to his cabin. After reaching to his cabin and looked at her cabin adjacent with guilt and respect for her morals, infact his hidden feelings towards Khushi were trying to make their way out. After some time, he decided to take rounds to check for the discipline management and also to divert his mind towards to something else except Khushi. While taking rounds, he suddenly noticed an angelic figure dressed in Black coming towards him with a cold breeze...Khushi... he thought. He told himself that he was hallucinating as Khushi resigned. As she came closer, his heart notified him of her presence to which he thought may be, she was here. When he looked at her face, he noticed that her face had a very pale and blank look, seeing which his heart ached.She immediately handed over him a letter and while taking it, their fingers brushed to which their bodies responded by sending jolts of currents across their bodies. He opened and looked to find a resignation letter, written in a very formal way. He wanted to stop her and he said to her,

"Miss Khushi, Before I approve I want to speak to you...in my cabin" he said with great difficulty suppressing his inner turmoil.

"Sure" she replied confidently.

He proceeded towards his cabin and Khushi followed him. After reaching his cabin he locked the door and spoke,

" Khushi, I am really sorry of what happened yesterday!! I was angry with your accusations so I couldn't control"

" Arnav Singh Raizada you are, all this won't matter to you!! Infact it makes no difference to you!! But a day will come when you will realize it!!"

" Khushi, try to understand!! You are the first person I am apologizing to and may be the last person too!! Please don't leave the office!! My heart is not accepting it!!"

" What right do you have on me, Arnav?( Arnav was shocked listening to his name from her) yes, I called you by your name as you are no longer my boss"

" Rights, Khushi!! You are mine and the marks on your neck proves it" He said with a possessive voice.

" THOSE ARE MARKS OF YOUR ANGER NOT LOVE, ARNAV. MARKS OF MONSTER NOT OF A PRINCE"

" Khushi!!!!"

" I am not your wife or your servant to listen to whatever you say!! Nor am I that girl who will listen to whatever you say!! So good bye"

Saying this she left and Arnav couldn't stop her!! Lavanya listened to whole conversation amd understood that Arnav and Khushi got physically intimate. She went in after Khushi left. She said,

" Arnav, you betrayed me. You played with dignity of two girls and i don't want. To be GF of a guy like you. And i am ending this relationship here, right now!!"

And Lavanya left him. Arnav couldn't believe anything like this would happen. He fell on his knees feeling helpless for the first time in his life. He was crying from out side but dying from inside.

Part 9:

A week's Leap,

Payal and Akash didn't want a extravagant marriage, and their best friends Khushi and Arnav supported them, so Akash's family had no other alternative but to agree to them. But all the necessary rasams would be fulfilled. Today was the Mehendi. Payal and Khushi were given credit cards to buy their dresses and accessories. But Khushi bought all her necessities from her own salary as it would tarnish her self-respect. She got a beautiful dark red lehenga and selected a turquoise one for Payal as it was favorite of Akash or the Sangeet and Green lehenga and Red lehenga respectively for the marriage. Everyone was busy preparing for the marriage which was going to take place at Arnav's place as he accepted Payal as his sister which very much shocked Khushi. On the other hand, Arnav made a plan to make Khushi his forever. He wanted that to happen for two reason:1) He had unknown feelings brewing inside him ever since that night and 2) He had been insulted by her in his own office, which no one dared to do. After she left the office that day, people started gossiping and pelting down questions on him, taking chances. According to his plan, today was the first step of his plan and practically the final step of Khushi's happy life, probably. They never spoke after that day at office but occasionally stole glance while the marriage preparations.

SANGEET,

Everyone was happy with this marriage, even Akash's parents as they can never find a better girl than Payal for their son. people who were assembled there took turns to entertain the would be couple. Khushi was going to perform a solo. He heard it from Akash. He met Payal but Khushi was not with her, so his eyes were involuntarily searching for their apple. he was not paying any heed to the performances that were happening in the function and was just nodding his head to whatever Akash said. And Akash was too busy fantasizing his marriage and Suhaag Raat to notice this.😳 Suddenly the spotlight fell on an angelic figure and a cool breeze hit Arnav's face which always was due to his dear love, which his heart accepted but not his mind. He turned his face to look at the person in the lime light. 'She was wearing Red???? After knowing its effect on me? But today her effect is more than the colour! Red has become more beautiful after she wore it!' He was shocked for himself for thinking all that but he couldn't help it when Khushi was present. She was dancing on"bole chudiya bol kanagna". 'god!! it looks like the song was made for her to dance on' thought Arnav. He immediately reminded who she was and what she did. Her steps were making everyone Manmohit!! "Aadai aur Nrtya Ki Rani" muttered people under their breath!! Her dance completed and everyone gave her a big round of applause!

After some time,

Arnav was thinking when would it be the right time to put his plan into action in a secluded place near the pillar. Khushi was passing from there to get Water as dadi required it. Seeing no one around them paying attention, he grabbed her hand and she crashed into his chest. She was angry for such behavior from him. She knew it was him from his touch which always sent jolts of current through her. She was about to shout when his palm shut her mouth but her expressive eyes were telling him what she wanted to. He put her one arm around his neck and picked her up in his arms. As the pillar was near the main door, he didn't catch anyone's attention while doing this and put her down in the car and fastened the seat belt. He took his seat and started driving.
