Wonderful update!!!!... Liked the conversation between Arnav and Navin...but didn't like the ...not meeting each other clause...and also Arnav agreeing to it...although he had no choice...

Also liked the conversation between Arnav and his mom...u really do put a lot of thought to ur writing!

Specially the part of seeing ur past in hindsight and the future with rose tinted glasses

Felt khushis anger was justified...but don't have a gud feeling about her bad dream...

Amazing writing!!

IF was again playing peek a boo with me. when finally I could log in, my visage glinted with a bright smile to see your PM.
Uff what a chapter...how beautifully you wrote the emotions and the description of the surreal ambiance was enthralling.
How handsome Arnav must've looked in dark jeans, white shirt and aviator. OMG, someone save me from dying. And Khsuhi's look was sexy too, to make Arnav crazy!
I was enjoying their silent communication through messages and gestures.
the song what he sent made me laugh. The serious doctor got a romantic mind for sure.

Their impending separation constricted my heart with pain.
I know why Arnav assented with Naveen not to meet Khushi before his divorce. He knew right now if he says he will marry her, it will be hypocrisy as his divorced is not finalized yet. So to honor Naveen he agreed. But why Khushi has to suffer. I know it's a torture for her to live without Arnav.
Gosh their parents are tyrant!

The dream actually scared me. Was it a reflection of her turbulent mind or a sinister dream what was anticipating something portentous to happen. I'm scared. I'm glad that she decided to meet him before his flight.
Can't really wait for the meeting.
I really want Arnav and Khushi break the inconsequential promise what they made to their parents.
In a lighter note I laughed at Arnav's thought to move to Utah and the message to Khushi jesting her to have period.😆

Very beautifully written last two chapters. I like that you are taking your time with every character and their reactions to the situation. Being a parent of two daughters in their early twenties I can relate to the parent situation. My younger one who turns 21 in a week, told me that she is thinking about dating this classmate of hers. We have a very open and strong bond where we discuss everything and we are more like friends than mother and daughters. Infact people often mistake us for three sisters or three freinds. Well coming to the point they have friends who are boys and girls and I know all of them and I also like this particular boy she is talking about. But when she discussed this with me tht she wants to date him and wanted to know if I will be ok with it. I said I think so let's see - typical mom answer but for a week I was so disturbed. I still dont even know why. So when i read about Navin or Sujata I can relate to the fear they have about their daughter. Especially given the situation in the story. It is so difficult to anticipate our reactions when it comes to our children. We see everything with a magnifying glass. It's like everything is different when it comes to them. I'm really happy that you are handling this sensitive issue with care. Can't wait to read the rest of the story. Sorry for rambling about my parenting thoughts.

Jen what an update! Arnav needs a big pat on the back for his direct respectful and honest discussion with Khushi's Dad!
The romance between them is amazing Jen! Lovely...outstanding!

I hope Khushi catches Arnav before he leaves...

I don't know what she is waiting for... she says she has given up hopes of reconciliation, yet she won't be happy (or show her happiness) for her son until the divorce is through. or is it that he shouldn't be happy either? the immense bleakness this man has been through breaks my heart. no one goes into a marriage looking for divorce. or manipulation. there is only so much degree of tolerance in a person and then some. and yes, to someone whose values are set very high, something like this breaks their belief in marriage. not to mention not wanting to associate with the other person anymore.
especially loved this convo, jenny. beautifully done, how well arnav explains. very mature.
the rest is just as beautiful - be it the little things you mention, or the places you describe.
on a side note, a bit hard for me to imagine that the divorce will turn ugly. because, that would mean the truth coming out and at this point in time, lavanya surely does not want it. so will it be a sort of blackmail, or will they reach a middle ground?

P, loved your comments in bold.

I totally agree with you, no one gets married thinking one day they would divorce the person they are getting married to.
I hope and wish Aastha would have tried to understand her son's POV, as to why he wants to divorce his wife instead of asking him to reconcile with his ex-wife. There are always two sides to a coin, but looks like Aastha's ideals and belief that a marriage should last till the end of one's life just blinded her mental vision to look for reasons as to why this was happening in the first place.
