Oh my word, that was so exquisite, AT! You have to continue and put him, her and us out of our misery!
That description of K taking off her jewellery was a fantastically evocative piece of writing- that one act contained the story in itself.
You really are a brilliant writer.

Khushi and Arnav are both very stubborn people. We always think of Arnav as being egotistical, but as he had once asked Khushi, "kya tum me ego nahin hain?" That's why they always challenged the other with 'lagi shart'

Rae, your writing has so much subtle delicacy in every sentence.

"He was no longer who she had loved when all she had hoped was to hate him. He was no longer whom she had loved when all he had hoped was to hate her."

So simple and perfect. And also when you wrote he wasn't 'her Arnavji', but still 'hers'.

I really liked how you wrote of her removing her jewellery to be like discarding her to-be. Tossed aside as irrelevant.

Hoping you will continue ...

Plz do continue! I felt disappointed when I read the ending! But it was immediately replace by excitement when I saw the reserve posts for "possible parts"!

very beautiful and moving, i feel like crying now. i really hope there's a second and third part, would love to see what would happen next and whether khushi would get a happier ending.
