PART 3

As she reached home her mother hugged her. She knew nothing yet of what had just transpired between Armaan and her , but just the fact that Riddhima mentioned she was coming home for sometime.
As any parent would be she was worried for her daughter hoping everything was going well in her daughters married life.
"ma I am fine" she said breaking herself from the hug as she moved it
She looked at the luggage in her daughters hand
"Mom" she looked at her mother when she kept staring on her luggage

Armaan started to collect himself up.

Aman was coming home to discuss business; just the break he needed to clear his mind; he thought. He picked up the pictures, the report n stuffed it somewhere not noticeable.

As Aman entered he hoped to be greeted by his cheerful bhabhi Riddhima but she was nowhere to be seen. He happened to take a look at Armaan. His eyes seemed to be swollen. Something seemed to have been transpired here he thought to himself

As she reached for what used to be her room back in the days before she moved on with Armaan, her mom expressed her worries
" did he leave u"
Riddhima did not know how to console her mother who had opposed her idea of living in with Armaan from the very beginning
But she deserved to know the truth
She made her sit
" mom we are just taking a little break from each other."
" little u mention riddhima but this seems to be all the luggage that u took with u almost a year ago before u moved in with him"
"Well u could say that" riddhima added cheekily
" Ridz this is about your life abt ur future" her mom said worried
'Speaking of future ' she thought to herself ' how would u react to the fact that I haven't being wearing tampons for the last two months' she smirked to herself at the thought

" ma please I want to rest for some time n then I will answer all ur questions" saying that she took her mom to the bedroom door and closed it

' two more months' she thought to herself ' before I sort this out or else your truth will be out' she thought caressing her belly

"Hey Armaan how's Riddhima sharon was asking me about her today" aman asked Armaan

Sharon being Amans girlfriend.

" she is well just off to her parents' house for sometime" he said without as much as looking at aman.

His hunch was right
Something major had transpired between the two of them

They continued their discussions about the project that aman was there to discuss... It was almost 10 by the time he left Armaans house
As soon as he left Armaan headed out to the bar.

He ordered a beer
Almost three pegs down the bartender refused to give him anymore as they were closing out
Instead for creating a scene he asked if he could get a bottle or two for the road, which he did get, paid the bartender left.
He reached for his car, had difficulty opening it a lady came up to him n offered help
He looked at her with diminishing vision
" riddhima " he blurted " you ..., you shoud Haven't done that..." The lady reached into his pocket and found the number last dialled
" riddhima Gupta -9876..."
She dialled the number

'Armaan' she thought as she looked at the number flashing on her phone she answered it and reached the place in the middle of the night.
She called aman so that he could take care of Armaans car while she along with the lady's helped Armaan in her car she thanked her profusely n then left

" riddhima... U shoud haven't done that" he kept on blabbering in the back
Aman was already there at the residence when she arrived with him
As they brought him out he puked after three beers in + more that is what he was gonna get
They put him to bed and aman said he would wait outside for her just to give her a few moments with him alone
What was the need of the moments alone when the first sentence he muttered out while with her in the car put everything to rest already

"U shouldn't have done it Riddhima" his words.

She put the blanket on him and left.

aman waiting outside making sure riddhima reaches home safe.
