Flashback continues...
The next morning she woke up slowly in bed as he cuddles her closer to him...
"Good morning" he said kissing her...
"umm Good morning" she responded back.. still getting up from her sleep...
As they lay in bed for some time he said...
"I have some news for you Ridhu..."
"Hmm" she said waiting for him to continue...
"I have to go to Singapore for a business meeting at the end of the month"
She looked at him maybe there was more to it... because if it was only work he wouldn't have taken an approach like this... to mention it...
Since he did not proceed she prodded on...
"Go on armaan"
"I would be staying like a month away from you Ridhu" he said...
Ohhh' she thought... From the point they started living together... there wasn't a single day they were separate...
She hugged him tighter.. he engulfed her in his chest cavity...
"Don't worry Riddhima.. we will get through this... Together... Hain na..."
She did not respond...
"Ridhu " he said "look at me" she looked up at him still laying on the bed in his arms...
He kissed her nose " I need you to be strong... for both of us... This time will go on very quickly..."
She just hugged him tight "I will be alright Ammy, besides we will be connected through phone na" she asked
"Of course Ridhu" he said...
"Hmm" she responded back... And then gradually they started their routine...
She made him breakfast and then went to work...
Gradually the days went by...
In all this, there was one particular guy who was taking a keen interest in Riddhima Armaan Malik asking his sources to find out information about the two of them...
As the day came by Riddhima went to the airport to drop him off...
They shared a long goodbye kiss as they were not going to see each other for almost a month...
And then Riddhima came home Armaan boarded his flight...
She entered the home to silence...
She turned on her Netflix... Greys anatomy season 3 lets catch up she decided to herself...
Armaan called her as he reached and that is when she finally put something into her stomach.. Greys anatomy was to keep her mind from thinking about other stuff to keep her stay strong in Armaans absence...
As she walked up to her room.. she felt a slight dizziness... she composed herself and then went to sleep...
The next day she went to her office.. on her way back she got a call from Armaan's colleague... Ritesh... He conveyed that Armaan had asked to take care of her in his absence but to not let her know... so he explained that if she could not tell Armaan about it , it would save his job...
She was reluctant but agreed...
Gradually day by day Ritesh and Riddhima became friends...
One night...Armaan had called her as usual but she did not pick up...
He got worried and tried an hour late.r...
Still no response...
There was no one else he could ask... He asked Ritesh...
Ritesh told him that she was fine and that she had gone to sleep a while back... Armaan did not want to believe it but he had no choice.. he told Ritesh to make sure that Riddhima called Armaan first thing in the morning
"I will surely do that Sir" he said smirking emphasizing the Sir...
In front of him lay Riddhima in a unconscious state...
He had mixed sleeping pills in her food...
He took her to bed... removed his clothes... Removed her top partially and clicked pictures as if the two had spent the night together... on his phone...
He then straightened her clothes put her to sleep and then left the room silently...
Riddhima did not know that her world had just turned upside down...
Ritesh spent all night... editing those pictures... To make them look authentic...
"This is for you Riddhima... For rejecting me without so much as having a look at me..." Ritesh thought aloud
Riddhima woke up the next morning.. and all she could remember from last night was having food at her own dinner table... how did she end up on the bed.. she checked herself... no signs of damage... She looked around the house... Nothing...
Was it her dementia.. was she forgetting things so early in her life...
She looked at her phone 34 missed calls from Armaan...
She called him immediately
"Riddhima " he said panic in his voice "how are u? where are you ?"
"I am good Armaan. And I am home... Is everything alright I just saw your missed call sorry I must have dozed off yesterday.. lately have been feeling a lot more tired..."
He felt relieved "I was worried for you all night Ridhu... don't ever do that again.. until I come back.. wherein I can see u personally..."
"Sorry Armaan.. I had no idea what went through you last night... Let me make it up for you"
She blew a long kiss into the phone...
That made him smile...
They talked a lot that morning...and then continued on their routine...
He was coming back in a week
