Indecent Proposal

This one is dedicated to to my fellow gutter minded buddy Ash, Moony, Ayesha, Antu, Annie, Manu, Rashi, Riya, Aimy, Pari , Jiya, Chaikibiskoot, Anuskif and everyone else who reads, likes or comments on my ff so thank you all and I love you all. Chapter: 8

Parth woke up the next morning feeling pretty gloomy recalling the events of last night and Vidushi breaking off their two month fake relationship deal. He thought he would talk to her this morning as she must have calmed down today. He went early to the Mechanical Lab where he had to set up some machines for the first year final practical exam. He was surprised to see Vidushi already there working distractedly and struggling to lift a heavy motor by herself and almost dropping it when he rushed there and took off the motor from her resisting hand "Ye kya kar rahi thi tum. Subah subah body building karni thi toh light weights se shuru karti sidha heavy weight lifting kyu kar rahi thi?" asked Parth to which Vidushi gave him a murderous look and yelled back "Tumhe isse kya? I can do want I want. I was managing just fine before you came here thinking yourself as Superman and me as Louise Jane. You do this half and let me do that". "I could see how well you were managing. Aaj toh apni ek ad haddi toh definitely tod hi dalna tum upni foolishness se" murmured Parth under his breath as he saw for half an hour Vidushi prancing here and there like a headless chicken around the lab carrying things sometimes twice her weight and some in a wrong way. He was sure she will dislocate her wrists by the way she was putting pressure on them instead of her arms and being stubborn as she was she completely ignored Parth's advice who was being tortured seeing her like this and feeling somewhat guilty thinking he was partly responsible for her condition. He decided he had enough so he went for the kill and apologize to her making amends with her genuinely and not just for the sake of a bet.

He opened his back bag and retrieved something from there and put the contents on table next to the one Vidushi was working on. As Vidushi reached the next table she was in for a shock of sweet nature as she saw Parth holding a box of Ferrero Rocher in a heart shaped design in one hand and two big slabs one of -Diary Milk Silk and the other of Bourneville in other with a big placard of

'I am Sorry.

Please forgive me for being the biggest jerk in this world.

If you like this apology then smile and if you don't then move

To next table.'

Vidushi decided to enjoy this game further and moved to the next table where Parth had already moved with a big apologetic smile and big puppy eyes while he was standing holding a single white rose in one and Greeting card saying I am sorry' in bold in other. Vidushi accepted the greeting card with a reluctant smile on outside while doing a happy dance inside and she went on to read the content of the card. It read:

I am sorry.

Forgive me for my behaviour last night.

It was wrong of me and I want a fresh start with a clean slate.

If you like this apology then smile and hug me and if you don't

Then too bad because now I don't have any gifts as I ran out of money'

Reading this Vidushi not only smiled but laughed out loud at Parth for doing something so cheesy and at the same time utterly romantic which she never would have expected of him. She went near Parth and smiled brightly like a sunflower in the early morning sun shine. She was about to hug him when they were interrupted by peon Mishra who informed Vidushi that someone was waiting for her in the waiting lounge. Parth who was curious about this decided to silently follow her as this was the first visitor she had since he had known her and not even her parents ever came to see her, infact recalling very hard he couldn't remember her evening talking on phone with them. When he reached visitor's longue he saw Vidushi looking animated, vibrant and happily chatting with a guy whom he vaguely recognized as the guy from last night. "Hey girlfriend...Tumne mujhe promise kiya tha that you will come to meet me for breakfast today. Now chalo let's go kyunki bahot saare kaam karne hai and I know you don't have any lecture this morning. Phir hume shopping bhi to jana hai tumhare dress ke liye. Aur kal raat ki tarah tumhe wapas bhi to chodna hoga. I think..." went on and on the guy making Parth boil in anger who strode in making his emotion and dawning a smile went near Vidushi and put an arm around her shoulder making Vidushi leap scared out of wit and the guy turn around fast giving him an odd look. "Baby, you going somewhere? I told you I miss you too much when you are not around. Hi I am Parth Vidushi's boyfriend and you must be...?" asked Parth to the biker who gave him a perplexed look but he recovered rapidly and replied brightly "Hello I am Vihaan. Vihaan Khandelwal. I am Vidushi's old friend from school. Now I run my own dance academy and I wanted Vidushi to perform at National School of Dance Annual Competition as my regular partner broke her leg like literally and Vidushi needed some extra ca..." Vihaan continued but was interrupted by Vidushi who suddenly interrupted "Credits. I wanted some extra credit as FITE has some credit points for participation in extracurricular activities. Anyways hume late ho raha hai rehearsals ke liye so we have to leave." Vidushi almost dragged Vihaan who stopped in mid stride and turned around "Wait a minute. Vidushi you never told me you have a boyfriend."Vidushi helplessly looked around and was surprised to see Parth coming near them and replied with a smile "Well the feeling is mutual. I didn't know about you till now but ab kya karein Vidushi hai aisi bhulakad. She forgets everything but I know usne mujhe kyun nahi bataya tumhare bare mein. Woh mujhe surprise dena chahti hai. Right Darling. I am quite surprised." Saying this Parth collected Vidushi in his arms and whispered in a chilling voice "Yeah Vidushi tumne to mujhe bohat surprise kar diya. Ab mein samjha kit um itni keen kyun thi mujhse picha chuda ne ke liye. But don't worry I forgive you and I expect the same from you. I hope tum bhi mujhe maaf kar dogi. Now give me a sweet million watt smile of yours and hug me back if you are in agreement as we were interrupted very rudely last time." Vidushi returned the hug with a vague smile as she herself was not sure about Parth's intention in doing what he did. She didn't get this guy who was like an unsolvable puzzle and recalled a song from her favourite singer Katy Perry HOT and COLD which completely suited Parth

But she figured she had plenty of time to figure him out in their two months fake relationship and by the end she was sure he will love her as much or atleast 50% of what she does. They stood there for few moments enjoying this new warmth they found in each other's embrace and completely forgot about some else in the room who was keenly observing them and not appreciating what was happening in front of his eyes as he cleared his throat and said tightly to Vidushi in a critical tone "I think Vidushi that was quite a farewell. But ab hame late ho raha hai aur phir mujhe tumhe kal ki tarah phir wapis chodte huye bhi late hoga so hame ab nikal na chahiye." Before Vidushi could answer Parth tightened his grip on Vidushi who had turned in his arms to face Vihaan and said "I think uski koi zaroorat nahi hogi. Mein bhi tumhare saath chalta hu. Waise bhi mein kal pure din apni Girlfriend ko miss kiya aur uska wait karta raha. Usse acha hai ki mein tumhare saath aau aur phir hum dono saath mein wapas aye. Aise tumhe bhi use drop karne ki taklif nahi hogi." Vihaan looked almost scandalized by this suggestion as he searched for excuse for Parth not tagging along and he fumbled "Par...Par tum bahot bore hoge. Waise bhi tum pura din mujhe aur Vidushi ko ek hi step dekte dekte pakk jaoge. Aur tum kyun taklif kar rahe ho mein apni friend ko drop kar doonga..." Parth gave him a tight smile and replied in a no further argument tone "I can never get bored watching my Girl. Aur woh meri zimmedari hai aur uske liye mein khuch bhi kar sakta hu. I hope I have made myself clear. Now you have any more problems. No? Good then let's go."

I love this super expressive Parth... Gud to meet this Parth who has shed off the insecurities of his past and is in love enough to not let go off Vidushi away from him at any cost.
