CHAPTER 37

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF : PART II

Panchi got off the car. Entering into the hotel, she went to the reception. "Mam? Any help?" Said the man which the batch 'Hotel Manager'. "Yes! I have to organise a New Year's party of 31st. And need space and an organiser for that. Can some arrangements be done?" She replied to him. "Why not mam? You are on exactly on the right time! We have only one hall left. You can take a look at it. Alice, our party organiser, will help you." The manager told her with a smile.
"Thanks a lot!" Panchi replied to him with an equally big smile. "Alice!" He called. A girl with a pad in her hand came running, "Sir!". "Help mam. She is here in hope to organise a New Year's Party." He told her. "Thanks a lot! But the paper work?" Panchi asked him. "Once you come back after having a look at the hall, we'll do that!" The manager replied to her happily. "This way mam!" Alice guided Panchi to the hall.
Entering into the hall Pancho looked around. She knew that this was what she needed to complete her mission. "I guess the space is fine mam?" Alice asked her. "Oh, that is perfectly fine!" Pancho told her. "Then, shall we have a talk about what kind of party you want to have?" Alice asked her. "Alice, it is said that once gone - time never returns. I want time to return, in this party. It is said that history never repeats itself, I want history to repeat itself now. I want people to realise that this time of happiness has arrived because of some sorrows of past with were borne by all." Panchi explained her.
"I didn't understand mam?" She asked. "Alice people usually forget that their past has paved the way to their present and hence they forget their deeds, good or bad, which they committed in the past. They never looked back to have a look on what back they did bad to the society in the past!" Panchi told her with all her expression sounding into class verification. "So you want a party which reflect the past?" Alice asked. "Yes exactly! The whole hall should flicker with the memories of past!" Panchi said with a smile.
"So which era do you want me to depict in the party, mam?" She asked. "Ancient! Ancient Indian Civilisation. The one which is presented in the great epic of India, Mahabharat." Panchi replied to her. "Mahabharat? Mam, sorry to say but such arrangements will be tough to be prepared in London!" Alice told her. "You don't have to worry about it! I'll supply the decorative to you but I want the whole hall to sing the songs of past. The costumes, the decoratives, everything will be supplied by me!" Panchi told her.
"Okay then mam!" Alice told her with a faint smile. "Remember Alice this hall has to be prepared like the court of a king. A court, which has seen coronations and humiliations as well. The court which has seen good and back time of the kingdom and it's people!" Panchi said. "Sure mam!" Alice replied. Panchi checked her watch and said, "I need to leave for now! I'll complete the paper work and leave. You can start preparing!" She replied.

Vrushali opened the door, to find the entrance of the house to be surrounded by dozens of boxes, each with the name of a member of their family. "What is this?" She exclaimed. "Everyone, come out!" She called out. All of them came out to have a look at the happening. "What happened?" Shubhi asked. "See, these boxes are kept around with our names, let us all open our boxes?" Vrushali told them. "Vrushali, there can be bombs, in it!" Vasusen exclaimed. "Yeah... Like terrorists didn't get a better target'" Vrushali said with a good laugh.
"Okay, this ones for Paarth!" Vrushali said as she handed the box to it owner. "Shubhi!". "Vasusen!". She said until all the boxes reached their owner. "Now wait! No box for Panchi?" Paarth asked. "No. Just these!" Vrushali told him. "But everyone of us have got one, why not her?" Dhrishtradyumna asked, suspiciously. "Someone please open your box and check what's in it!" Vasusen told. "Wait, let me check." Nakul told them. "There's this invitation and some dress. Look I am reading it -You have always cherished the sweetest moments of present,Come and enjoy the past this new year's eve.Only at The Central!""An invitation to us?" Shubhi exclaimed. "That too for partying at the New Year's eve? Who might that be?" Govind said suspiciously (though the Almight knew the whole story behind it).

Now That's Called A Surprize Party ! Past Being Reflected ! Loved How Panchi Forgot Who She Was Speaking To...And Bechaari Alice. Totally Startled By The Idea Of Mahabharat In London !! Waiting To See The Reactions Of Everyone When They Re-visit Their Past !
