Jas Party

Arnav like a good husband opened the car door for Khushi to get down . She was very uncomfortable in this Blue white Lehnga choli which Anjali had made her wear for tonight's party and the only reason was Arnav. Since the time Khushi had come before him in that dress, he had left no chance to scan her from top to bottom giving extra attention to her exposed milky waist. As soon as she got down, he slid his hand on her waist, holding her like a perfect couple should be while entering this party premise. She angrily met his eyes.

Khushi: You just need a chance , dont you ?

Arnav: When you know it why taking efforts in asking me.?

Khushi: You might be in need to prove your friends that we are a perfect couple but I am not like you to fake such intense feelings.

She shoved his hand off her and without even waiting for him walked inside. He followed her with a winning smile again. It was so nice to see her frustrated because of him. They came in and were welcomed heartily by the Host of the party, Jas and his girl friend Simran. Arnav joined his group of friends and Khushi chose to stay away from them because she knew what their talks would be. All about girls. She hated that in him. So typical playboyish.

Simran: Khushi, I hope you are fine with Arnav.

Khushi: What do you think Simran?

Simran: I dont know .JAs was telling me some other story about your Suhaagraat.

Khushi: Yes Simran. It was just a well built up story. You think I can ever allow him all that?

Simran: I guessed so .These men can go to any extent to prove their manliness. So cheap they all are. Anyways baby you dont bother and spoil your mood. Forget about these men and chill around. This party is in your honour so cheer up.

It was very easy for Simran to advise but equally difficult for Khushi to follow it. She still managed to put a smile on her face and took wishes from the guests for the wedding. She hardly knew anyone here because most of them were Arnav's friends. She saw Arnav talking to a group of girls who were very disheartened with his marriage but he was the best in making their moods, Soon they all had smiles on their faces. Arnav purposely looked at Khushi who was standing at the other corner and trying to show she wasnt affected. He came to her.

Arnav: Saw? You might not be having so many boys behind you like I have girl friends here in this party. I am very popular you know. Married , unmarried doesnt matter. I still have rights to do anything I wish. I can live the way I was before.

Khushi: Who stopped you then? Do what you want. Mujhe faraq nahi padta.

Arnav:How ironic Khushi. Your words and expressions dont match at all.

Khushi: You feel so and I dont bother.

She was leaving away from him but he pulled her hard on his chest with force.

Arnav: What if I affect you tonight?

Khushi: Impossible Mr Raizada. You can never affect me in anyway.

Arnav: Soch lo. What if I just go out amidst those girls, pick one of them who is fully ready to give herself just on one demand of mine? Tab bhi affect nahi hoga?

Khushi: I bet not!! Samjhe? Now go and do what you like.

Arnav: So much attitude? I thought you will shed some after marriage. But never mind. This wildness in you keeps me on my toes to trouble you.

Khushi: With pleasure.

She pushed him and thought of leaving but something struck her mind and she passed him a quick smile.

Khushi: Oh Yes. And dont forget to take the ugliest pose with those girls today . My Camera is ready.

Arnav was dumbfound.

Arnav: What? Camera ?

Khushi waved her mobile before him happily.

Khushi: Yes Arnav. I love photography and what else will impress me than clicking your pictures with other girls? Infact aaj toh Arnav Singh Raizada ka MMS banega. And then your whole family will also come to know how innocent their Chotte is.

She winked at him while he tried snatching her mobile which she hide behind her

Khushi: Ohh Arnav come on. Wont you allow your wife to use her talent ? Do anything you wish to with those girls tonight, I will never mind. But later dont scold me for sending those to your family. What you couldnt tell them openly about your playboy nature, these pictures will do it for you and at least after that I will be relieved from this so called bonding between us.

Arnav was angered.

Arnav: You wont do anything like this Khushi.

Khushi: Kyon? Why should I listen to you? And dont think if you can hide my mobile or break it, I will not stick to my words. I have many others who will happliy give me their cell phones for some minutes to do my work.

Arnav : Khushi. Dont you dare

He warned her thinking she would be scared but she inturn challenged him.

Khushi: Now I dare you Arnav .Do something which benefits me and the consequences will be the worst once we return back home.

Before he could utter some more of his ASR dialogues, she left back towards Simran. Arnav was fuming with anger. Jas patted his

shoulder

Jas: Hey buddy, all okay? Anything wrong?

Arnav: These girls I tell you Jas. I.. I hate all . infact No. Why all? I just hate her. How can she challenge me? You know she warned me. She warned Arnav singh Raizada.

Jas: Warned? Wow. THis is the start buddy. The start of marriage.

Arnav: Stop it Jas. I am serious Okay. I was just fooling her , trying to get out her jealousy stating I would flirt with other girls here and she warned me to make an MMS of it and show it to my family? How could she?

Jas: Ohh .She said that? MMS ?

JAs gigled but Arnav was more angry. He left at the Bar counter and ordered a drink. Jas followed.

Jas: Okay . Let me help you. What I have known so far, girls hate their partners when they flirt with someone else or they drink too much. So now as you cant do the first one , try second. Just drink man. It will cool off your frustration and also make her helpless because she can do nothing to stop you.

Arnav found his talk valid. He ordered some more drinks and gulped them one by one.

Almost after an hour, she saw Arnav getting down the Bar counter and coming towards her. She had no doubt he was overdrunk. But how can he do this? He should be a responsible man now. He was married and she was his responsibility. Rather than protecting her, giving her company in middle of these unknown faces, he himself needed her attention? How can he be so negligent? He came to her and once again crashed her on his hard chest.

Arnav: Kya keh rahi thi tum? Tumhe koi faraq nahi padta agar main kisi ladki ke saath flirt karu. ( WHat did you say? You dont feel jealous if I flirt with some other girl)

Khushi struggled.

Khushi: Haan (Yes)

Arnav: Toh theek hai. Kisi aur ke saath nahi. tumhare saath hi flirt karta hoon. Naahi MMS banega aur naahi tumhe accha lagega. (Fine then. Why someone else. ? Let me flirt with you. Neither will you make the MMS then nor will you feel good.) Lets dance baby,

He forcibly took her at the dance floor and gripping her waist and arm started dancing. She was never interested in doing this but it was much better than seeing him romancing some other girls which will be the talk of this party otherwise. She had no such intentions of making any MMS but this warning was necessary to make him understand she was not a silent and weak girl who can tolerate anything from her husband.

When she realised the Guests had an eye on them because they were the honoured couple of this party, she didnt struggle anymore but continued to dance with him. Other couples joined the floor too. She was still decent enough in this dance maintaining some inches between their bodies but when he realised that, he covered that space too.

She closed her eyes because this kind of intimacy between them was very strange for her. He was only in observing mode at the moment, scanning every reaction of hers.

Arnav: Did I happen to tell you that you look Beauuutiful when you hate me?

She didnt respond.

Arnav: I am thinking if you look so nice when you hate me then how sexy will you look when we make love?

Khushi: Love? Huh! People who have love stories make love Arnav. Not we.

He twirled her around his finger and made her land again on his chest, in between his arms. He lovingly moved the hair locks aside to admire her face.

Arnav: Humaari Prem kahani ussi din se shuru hui thi jis din tumne mujhe thapad maara tha. Gaal ka thappad seedhe jaake dil pe laga. (Our love story started the same day when you slapped me. Though you slapped on my cheeks, it gave pain to my heart)

This was the effect of alcohol, she knew. Otherwise Arnav Singh Raizada would never talk such nonsense to her. But for the first time she didnt feel like pushing him back even after knowing this closeness can lead them to the depths of submission if this dance continues any further.

Arnav: You know my mind was totally thinking about you day and night since that slap. I wanted to revenge you. Because no one had the right to slap Arnav Singh Raizada. Never ever my parents did that till they were alive then how could I let an unknown girl do it? I was mad at you. And hence I thought the best way to make you go through the same humiliation. That last day Prom night of our college, I asked Jas to spike your drink so that I could show the boys and your stupid friends around that even after so much hate between us the entire academic year, you still allowed me to touch you. Thats why I came in the ladies washroom behind you. How easy it was to just do what I wanted and infact I even tried , didnt I ? But Khushi Gupta's high morals once again came in my way and you stopped me by that low class lecture of yours. Blah blah Blah. How can you give so much of lecture all the time Khushi? Thank God I saved my ears and left the washroom otherwise Playboy Arnav Singh Raizada would have become a Saint on that same day.

He chuckled whereas Khushi kept staring in his eyes. Yes that night was unforgettable and though Arnav had tried his best to use her too just like he did with other girls , she had managed to stop him. It might be her good fate that even though he was fully conscious and she was overdrunk, he didnt cross his limits and shed his intentions. That definately proved he did had a heart somewhere but that mistake can never be forgiven. Even though they never saw each other's face after that night and remained busy in their lives for 4 long years, still there was a connection that both felt between them which kept those stupid memories still intact in some corner of their minds which became fresh only after they met again after these many years.
