Wow, thats so sweet (gosh! Something is terribly wrong with my vocabulary these days. I am always faltering at recalling the words I actually mean to use these days!) I loved how the parents are confirming their will, coz sometimes you may not be able to voice out your doubts and apprehensions to your own family, not just coz you are forced but sometimes you fear that may be you can be a hurdle between their happiness. At such times if the others ask you so lovingly you just might be able to voice out everything. So I just loved the thought behind all of this.

Then there are these horrible ones who twist and misinterpret it all to use it for their advantage and agenda. And the disappointing and sad part is that people tend to believe them rather than finding out what really is.

I just hope things will change some day.

Excuse me, sorry. But if you read the sneek peek properly you'll see Arnav is being asked too if he really wants to marry Khushi as well.

The point is that sometimes some can't express their true feelings and opinions in front of their own family, so as a confirmation the parents/guardians of the couple exchange to ask the bride AND groom alone to make sure they aren't being pressured in any way or if they have any concerns. It's good to do this before marriage as the bride and grooms consent is most important.

Sorry if the sneek peek didn't make sense to you and made you think Arnav was being shown as 'that bad', but obviously that's not the case at all and hopefully the full epilogue will make sense.

Exactly! Bang on the money. Thanks for seeing the reason why the parents are asking them both. It's important for this to happen before marriage to make sure the individuals are truely happy with their decision. 😊
