Hey Twiggy !! I know am terribly late but God promise I was suck with AD...
What a sign of to a story that was very real and close to my heart.. The characters were flawed but were very strong in their own ways. Actually they just replicated a lot many of us from our daily lives...

I loved your Arnav and Khushi..

Your characters's inspiration are very interesting too !!!
Loved your work all the way and hope you would continue to write for us... Be around and congratulations for the completion of this great journey !!

Read the last 5 chapters at one go! N these 5 chapters saw each character discovering itself! While Arnav realised that he should unapologetic about who he is and what he is, khushi realised that there is so much more to world and how she could contribute to make it a better place in her own way. For akash it was finally time for acceptance that payal n he were not suitable for each other n more importantly love is never enough. But most importantly it was shashi n garima who realised that if you thrust your choices on your children, there always be friction in their relationship! Its good that his risk paid off n khushi really started enjoying her work n became happy! But what if his risk hadnt paid off n khushi had been miserable in hus choice of field?he would have lived a guilt ridden life. Yes parents do have a say in their children's lives but there are certain decisions that should be left entirely to children. Parents are there to guide, to advise and to provide support but they shouldnt force their choices on their children!!

As for payal i guess she didnt need much of soul searching as she is very clear in what she wants and how she wants. She has her priorities set. She may have many flaws like her sharp tongue, her thoughtlesness, lack of tact but of all the characters she was the one who had clarity of thought. No complications, no confusions and no soul searching! She was the classic 'take me or leave it' case.
As for her n akash relationship, whats the point of having such relationships if its goin to make both of them miserable! Yes they could have given it a shot and tried to make it work but then i guess it was for the best! N if they really love each other then this distance would give them the space and time to realise that they truly 'cant live without ' each other!!

In the end one can easily say everybody got the closure they needed. All are at a happy place including anjali and shyam!!

This story has always been unique! From its title to its story line to its characters. We had a relatively insecure armav , a very strong n confident payal, a self assured n firm akash! Khushi was her usual!
This was a strory without villians, without MUs , without anyone having a dark past , no rich n poor divide, nt much opposites attract theory! It was a simple story about normal and real people like us, who had so many issues in their lives pertaining to career, parents, love! The comfortable relationships that we share with our siblings which dsnt have to be over the top, where you give each other space. How we have these phases where one feels the need to go away n find perspective in life. How sometimes relationships make us realise that love is not enough. How we get dejected when we see the other partner is not into us as much as we are in to it!!! Life is so complex that we hardly need any villians!!!

However i still have my doubts regarding shashi n garima. Do such unconventional set of middle class parents exist in india atleast?

The story as you said was definitely not about romanace but about life where love is a very important part of life but not the life!!!
I will definitely miss reading this story!!
Thanks for writing this story which helped me look at things in life in newer ways. That there are so many different perspectives to see the same thing.
It was a pleasure reading this story twiggy!!

And sorry for this very late comment.!

This story was recommended by saiyyu(rasgulla) and I should thank her for this. This is such a great wonderful story. Sorry. I didn't comment in the middle. I read all the chapters. And can't forget about crosswords anymore. A very different, no ASR, and also lack of self confidence in the beginning. A typical khushi in most aspects like food..talking.. wonderful parents in shashi and garima, payal and akash.. all characters were v.different. thank you the wonderful journey. Please write more. I did learn a lot of words from your ff.😊

Just read the entire story in one go..!! 😊 It's a brilliant story. I loved the beauty of the relations that all characters had with each other. And Arnav and Khushi's support to each other through all their phases of life was really heart-warming, something which I believe everyone would look for in their partner. Please do continue writing..!! 😃
