Beautifully portrayed their emotions. Arnav was and is their pillar of their strength. Loved the update.

Sandhya such beautiful use of elements of nature to denote human emotions. The fluttering breeze, the lapping waters, the horizon shrouded in darkness... all convey something to me.

What an incredible lady Devyani Raizada is! Truly an inspiration! Every thought that went through her mind, then and now, is testament to that. There is a hindi word which I feel describes her perfectly 'maath ki aurat'.

The iniquity of the father shall not visit the son. She will make Arnav see that.

I loved how you showed both Arnav and Khushi laying their heads in the laps of their grandmother / mother. Itna sukoon aur kahan?

I want to hug you for giving us such a beautiful chapter ...

Everyone has handled this so beautifully. Nice to see people acting in a mature manner at a situation like this.
As long as they're together, everything will be sorted out.

Sigh...

Loved every bit of this update Sandhya. Khushi's reunion with her parents was sweet. I admired your Shashi - a man to emulate. And Garima's courage.. Am glad that Khushi was wise and mature enough to realize that she was the lucky one..

But before I get ahead of myself here, thank you for having Khushi realize that Arnav needs and deserves someone to lean on. I was gratified to see her make that promise for him. :)

The best part was the conversation between Nani and Arnav. Two stalwarts of Raizada clan who have bore the brunt of life's hard-hits. They are so similar in so many ways - prideful to seek any form of help, stoic in the way they deal with their own pain, vulnerable because of all the burdens they carry and bear.. two characters separated by generations, but victims, not unlike Ahalya. Both Nani and Arnav need to experience joy and happiness.. both deserve it.

There is so much more I want to say - about your writing - about how you use the storm as a metaphor for the upheaval in Arnav and Khushi's lives.. about how Arnav gives up his Nani's lap for his little sister. just so many things.. It was totally worth the wait. :)

Fantastic update! I had a big fat grin on my face when I saw the second part! As usual written beautifully! The conversation between garima shashi and khuhsi was very emotional. Arnavs advice really Helped her.
And she was able to understand Arnav a bit better after finding out about his past.

At last Arnav revealed to his grandma about his secret. I felt sorry for devyani as she had a lot on her shoulders. But talking has helped both to move on from the past and not feel guilty. I got a bit teary when he was asking for confirmation from his gran that his mamas death was not his fault. That child like sentence showed how much he was affected by it.

Can't wait for next update now!

Totally emotional roller coster ride for me.
I am thinking about arnav, how he must be feeling hearing all those things happen with his mama.
For naniji to recall all those years must be killing and yet she has to be strong, now is not the time to be carried away. She has to strong for arnav and her family. Poor old lady has to go through all those time again.

Loved the way show her strength. She is still a strong personality, otherwise any body in her place must have gone by now. She is holding all three of them together.

I hate that man all over again who is the reason of misery in their life. What kind of animal he was. He got so many chance to change himself but he could not do that even after seeming ahilya's goodness.
Glad that she killed him, but he deserve Worst punishment ever.

Arnav is a very strong man and glad that he inherited goodness of two women and not that man. Let us see what he thinks after hearing true story and his decision over garima. One thing is sure that he is not going to give his mama's place to her. He may talked with her as Khushi's mother but not his.
If he does this it will be cheating with ahilya's sacrifice and love for him. She deserves to be his mother.

Last part is so beautiful and heart melting. All three of them sitting together with their anchor.
Brilliant writing, any word is less to say how wonderful you are.
You created arnav and Khushi so beautifully and maintain that magic or more.
Loved it.

Thanks for updating.

It was an emotional ride for everyone...
So much has happened in their life...
Blood relations are not always that important in the case for Arnav and Khushi...
