His next stop was Lousiana's room. The feast would begin in half an hour, before that he had to see everyone. He didn't know whether he would have the heart to visit anyone after it. Before he had made to it he met her on the way. She hugged him in her usual cheerful manner, wished him loudly and showed her dress to him. It was splendid but it was a muggle dress. There were no laces, no crowns, no frocks, no gowns. It was a simple slip on party wear dress that she had adorned beautifully with a shrug. She always took advice from Tom about muggle dresses who had some clue about these as he himself wore those. Although Tom had no idea about women's clothes he never told her so. But he felt the safest way was to agree with her choice, that way they'd both be happy.

Louisiana Patrick was the Muggle Studies teacher. Tom had been her favorite student because he was the only one in his batch who had taken the subject and the only one in her class who had keen interest in the subject something that wasn't very common.

Tom's habit of hugging people had largely come from her. She always greeted everyone that warmly and he had seen what a response she would get when she did. He had also gotten used to greeting people like that.

Tom went to the Hospital Wing next to see Madam Brown.

"Thank you, dear boy!" She replied him as he greeted her.

"Ready for the feast?" He asked her looking at the apron that she usually wore that she was still wearing.

"Oh, yes." She patted her hair. "How do I look?"

"Great." Tom smiled. "But I think the apron ought to come off."

"Oh goodness, I forgot!" She realized taking it off immediately. "Thank you. Are you going in these again?" She asked staring at his usual white shirt and blue jeans.

He shrugged. "I don't exactly have a lot of options."

"Oh dear, I think it is time you try on a few Wizards' robes. How about a cloak, black, perhaps, it would look good on you."

Tom had frozen where he stood. He had never, would never and could never imagine himself in a cloak and that too black. Her description brought the memory of someone he had wished he had never known. He came to his senses when Madam Brown shook him back to present.

"Are you alright?"

He smiled to relax her. "Yes, I was just wondering how completely funny I'd look in a cloak. I might just trip over it." He grinned exposing all 32 of his teeth. "Then you'd have to treat me if I get hurt again."

"Then, I would make you take that horrible potion you utterly dislike." Madam Brown smiled too.

"I don't think he's ever taking that." Porch replied from the door way bending almost double to get in.

"Happy Halloween." He nodded to Madam Brown then hugged Tom.

"Ouch!" Porch's grip was too much for Tom's ribs who had completely forgotten about his face off with Seth and Malcolm this morning. Before he knew it a low moan had escaped his mouth as Porch's weight fell on him.

"What happened?" Madam Brown asked alarmed as Porch sniggered. Duds had told him.

"Nothing," Tom hesitated a moment. He didn't want to be held back before the feast. "I am fine. I'll see you at the feast." He smiled and before Madam Brown could stop him walked quickly out leaving Porch inside.

Porch came out nearly bursting to laugh.

"I'll kill you if you do that again." Tom sniggered. "Duds told you?"

"Yeah, he also told me you'd live."

"I would only if Madam Brown didn't give me horrible Potions."

Porch knew how much he hated taking potions to recover. He had done it on purpose, so Madam Brown would make him take one. After all, one had to face their nightmares on Halloween.

Tom left with Porch for Harry's office laughing with him. He knew Porch had been playing a joke on him but Porch didn't know Tom would be facing his worst nightmare during the feast. Tom decided to savour all that he could before he had to face the worst.

"Enter." Harry called as Porch knocked on his door.

They entered to see Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny all dressed up for the Feast. Duds was also there apparently to wish everyone he could before the Feast. Tom who had wished Harry early in the morning hugged Ron while Porch reached Harry. Greetings were exchanged. Tom went to Ginny next who was already smiling warmly. Before he had she had hugged him and wished him. Tom had never felt an embrace so warm as he broke away and she patted his hair again. "Bless you, dear."

His eyes twinkled with tears that he couldn't allow to fall. He gulped down and turned to Hermione who stood in a corner. "Happy Halloween."

She stood with crossed arms. "Same to you."

He nodded as Duds grabbed him from behind and hugged him tightly. "Happy Halloween, Bro." He patted him on the back and another low moan escaped him. Duds wasn't playing a joke he had himself forgotten the morning's incident.

"Are you alright?" Ginny asked concernedly.

"I am, it's just-_"

"Seth and Malcolm wished him a Happy Halloween." Tom had just started when Harry winked at him as he answered Ginny.

Tom, Duds, Harry Ron and Porch all burst out laughing. Ginny and Hermione had known too but they hadn't thought it would turn out to be humorous. Tom had put it in words that had hidden his grievances and put forward something funny.

"News does travel fast at Hogwarts." Harry winked at Tom.

"May be a little too fast." He turned to look at Hermione who flushed a slight shade of pink. He was still being followed. He was glad he had found out just in time before the Feast. He turned back to Harry. "I had better leave. The Feast begins in 5 minutes. I have last minute preparations to attend to." He smiled and took their leave as Duds and Porch stood quite confused behind. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny had understood his taunt well, they hadn't.

Why does tom hate wearing wizard in robes. Did he not wear them as a student.

How does he know that hermoine is still following him when she is using harry's invisibility cloak.

Thank you!!! 😃 Yes, he wore those when he was a student but back then he hadn't known several things, which you will know of as the story proceeds. And he doesn't hate Wizard robes, he has an opinion that he is promoting via his dressing which he revealed to Harry when harry asked him about it. Also, there is another reason he doesn't wear wizard robes, but that will also be revealed as the story proceeds😛

He took a guess when Harry spoke up before he had replied Ginny. Other than him and Alex only Duds and Porch knew about Seth and Malcolm jumping him again. Also when Duds had asked Tom what had happened, Tom's reply had been the one that Harry had quoted when replying Ginny. And Duds and Porch hadn't told Harry anything. So, the only explanation was that someone was still following him and with Hermione's withdrawn reaction to him, it was almost predictable that she had been following him.😊
