Wow this is wonderful

I always had a complain with the story of IPK that it has always showed Arnav past history, it's effect on his present and then the pain of burning in love. They skipped Khushi life history and I am grateful that you are writing about this, my wish come true.

Indeed khushi's new family consciously and unconsciously ignored her many time. Only Khushi has always taken step to fill the distances between them be it after Payal first broken marriage or her forced marriage. You are right how would have Guptas reacted if Payal would had marry Arnav, I am sure they would have embrace the people and blessed them warmly. Khushi was a part of Gupta family, younger daughter and sister of Payal but still she was always treated differently. Rules and regulations were different for her. And this was visible very clearly. It was Khushi who went out to do a job, not Payal. It was Khushi who was paying for her father medical bills. She taught tuitions not Payal and last but not least she didn't turned to Payal for help when Arnav was threatening to threw the Gupta family out if the rent didn't get paid in time. Lack of trust was always a problem.

There was always a reason why her smiles didn't reach her eyes, why she converse so much with devimayah and to herself, why she fried load of jalebis to decrease her stress. No matter how strong a person is, the person will not work for a Rakshash who always was threat to life but only because of buaji taunt she gathered her courage to earn money at any cost, she almost lost her life. The void of losing her family was never filled. That wound still fester and I am so glad that Arnav past was like Khushi, in this he could understand her distress and pain.

This is amazing, love the way you penned down khushi's dil ka haal and Arnav understanding her and taking her in his warm solace.

Khushi's world got destroy the mke to her parents left alone and the new world, sapoon ke jaisey khoobsurat dunyah, she built it with Arnav going through a lot of troubles and hardships. Their choti si dunyah which is only comprise of them.

Can't wait to read next part.

Very emotional update.

Khushi's character was neglected a bit in the show. CVs was never consistent to portray her role. One day they showed her submerged in grief and next day she became a nincompoop, as if she didn't have any feelings.

I always disgruntled that sometimes her family didn't treat her nicely. I never could forgive bua for being so inexorable with her. how she coerced her to get engaged with shyam can't be absolved. It's true that Shashi loved her unconditionally like a real father. but sigh the cvs made him numb for the rest of the show.

After the MU got over Arnav was always compassionate and sensible to Khushi, except some events during Sheetal track, what I didn't like.

What I loved about your story is Arnav's sensibility. He could feel her anguish and supported her like a real soul mate.

Absolutely loved it.
