Hi guys, this update might seem a little long to some of you (though its not)đ, but I decide to make up for some lost time by giving you a hefty yet informative update. This chapter is dedicated to my friends Wish (Toku bhai) and Sarah (Sitara)đł
Chapter 1
Part 1: The Prince of Debauchery
Its Cordy tonight. Stella tomorrow, Anisha the day after, and Hayley on the last day. Maybe I could squeeze Melissa and Su-Min too somewhere. I'm sure they won't mind. I'll give them a diamond offering and it'll make up for their broken hearts when I leave. After all diamonds are a girl's best friend, Uday thought smirking to himself on how colorful his life was and how every girl wanted a piece of him.
He had been studying at Harvard Business School in Boston and was now returning home to Mumbai. His flight was in the next four days and he intended to make the most of these last few days of freedom with pleasure of the hottest kind. Fortunately, he didn't have to do much to woo these girls except to look at them with his powerful magnetic gaze full of radiant passion that made girls go weak in their knees. He was the Prince of Jaigarh, the only prince at his school whose wealth matched his title, his noble blue blood mixed with his charisma caught the sights of every maiden rich or poor and made him even more irresistible and desirable. And Uday knew exactly how to use these special talents of his.
He had wooed Cordelia (Cordy) Ross in an hour and had gotten her to meet him for dinner within the next half an hour. He strongly believed in never wasting time and especially in the case of women. He could see desire clearly building up in her eyes when he had left her with nothing but a kiss on her hand. She had found it to be so noble of him and had smiled shyly, her eyes telling a different tale from the shyness of her smile. She wanted to jump his bones and he could just feel it written all over her face. So, tonight was going to be Cordy's lucky night.
He knew he'd invited her for dinner to which she had gladly agreed, first a dinner then drinks than they'll be at his apartment and then one thing will lead to another like it always does. 'Women are too predictable' Uday further thought.'They had no originality to them. Everyone was just like the other one and they all lived in some romantic fantasy land, and he loved to maneuver this fantasy of theirs in his favor.' Their fantasy had brightened many of his nights. Well it really wasn't his fault if the women he was surrounded with were eager to submit themselves to him and serve him in all possible ways. He just threw the hook and they all fell for it.
There was only one year left for his graduation which he unfortunately could not complete at Harvard, and had to transfer to some lame college in Mumbai. Any college was lame if compared to Harvard, but his father recently had been in an accident and needed Uday by his side to look over Jaigarh and manage the affairs of their various businesses. Uday was supposed to step in his princely shoes in the right manner now. The moment that he had been training for his entire life was upon him soon.

Cordy, Stella, Anisha and Hayley passed by with full gratification, each receiving a bouquet of roses and a diamond pendant for their services to the prince, which they were more than happy to provide in place of the lavish gifts that they received. These were the women of greed and not of substance (his one-night wonders) so it never meant anything to him when he left them graciously the next morning.
Su-Min looked at Uday and wondered how anyone could be so suave, could there be any other guy like him in the world. She knew about his lecherous reputation concerning women but she had really fallen for this guy hard and her love for him made her blind to the arguments of the world. She belonged to a reputable old school, conservative family where girls did not even sleep with their fiances, let alone their boyfriends. Yes, she thought of Yuvraj Udayveer Singh as her boyfriend'... Her soulmate.
She knew he was leaving tomorrow and stricken with grief of losing the sight of Uday. She stopped by his apartment, somehow she knew it wasn't the end and she wanted to see him for the last time till they met again. The meeting wasn't how she had expected. Her emotions got the best of her and she initiated the forbidden carnal route. Uday reciprocated her bodily sentiments and they became one. As Su Min lay next to him covered with a blanket, Uday with his eyes closed told her he'd be in contact with her and will never forget her. Su-Min turned towards him, staring incessantly yet deeply in love at his face as if memorizing every single feature, every single mole on his face. She felt the true meaning of inner happiness tonight.
Su-Min left after an hour. She reached her dorm room and the night became a burden on her poor soul. She felt like she'd lost a part of herself that night which shuddered her, but she was also losing the love of her life which killed her from the inside. She was a gentle soul and did not know what to do. She felt as if someone was holding her heart in his/her hand and was squeezing it. Unable to find any peace of mind she kept on pacing for more than two hours.
*****
Su-Min grabbed her keys and drove to Uday's apartment. Yuvraj Udayveer Singh did not share a dorm room in a hostel. For security purposes, he had his own room. Uday had once shown her a secret hidden route in his garden that led directly below his room's window. It was hidden with thorny bushes so nobody could easily climb up, but he liked it as it gave him a sense of freedom when he wanted to escape past his bodyguardSurendar Chaudhry unnoticed.
As Su-Min neared the window hidden in the shadows of the night, her heart began to pound madly. It thudded against her chest and as she peered inside the window of Uday's room, she felt her breath caught within her throat and felt her heart would explode with the force of its irregular thumping as the scene unfolded in front of her eyes. Her fingers touched a thorn bush and pricked them and tiny droplets of blood came out.
Tears began to well up inside her eyes, they overloaded the brim and finally the dam broke. but these tears had nothing to do with her physical wound. She took out her handkerchief and stuffed it inside her mouth and sobbed uncontrollably. Uday was on the bed hunched over her best friend Melissa in the same spot where a few hours ago she was lying. She was giving herself to him and he was taking her without having a glint of shame or guilt on his face. He was coaxing Melissa like he did to her a few hours ago.
'So Yuvraj Udayveer Singh could not even be faithful to a woman for even one night, is this what nobility is?' She wondered with despair taking over her mind. She felt daggers piercing her heart. The most wonderful night of her life had just become the most terrifying.
She had not only lost her love today, but she had lost her best friend too with whom she shared her deepest secrets, The friend who knew how much she loved Uday. Her parents had passed away when she was twelve and was being raised by her uncle. Uday was the first person she had developed any sort for feelings for since the death of her parents. He was special to her, and he knew it. She had become extra sensitive after the demise of her parents so seeing this event unfolding in front of her shocked her strongly and pained her even more. She raised the hood of her jacket over her head covering it. Uday and Melissa had achieved the point of satiation. As Melissa turned on the other side to sleep for a little while before the sun came up and it was time for her to leave, Uday got up from the bed, wore boxers and stretched out his bare arms standing in front of the window.
As he gaped outside his window, he noticed a shadow watching him. Its head was covered with a hood, he could not make out his or her features in the darkness but he could see some clothing sticking out from under the hood (Su-Min's handkerchief) but the light from the bulbs shown at such an angle that he could make out the figure's blood thirsty eyes. Whoever the person was, it was staring at him with the intensity of fire in its eyes, they were glistening with tears and, the tears magnifying the anger or hatred which that person harbored inside him or her for her. Before he could call out the name to the person, the figure was gone in a swish.
Su-Min returned back to her dorm and went to her balcony protruding out from her room and fell down on her knees near her plants looking towards the sky as if searching for the heavens through the veil of the sky. She called out to 'Benzaiten', the goddess of love for cursing her with a fate to fall in love with a devil in the skin of an angel who has wrecked her mind and deprived her off her peace. She yelled out to Kura-Okami (the god of rain)and to Ho-Masubi (god of fire) to rain not water, but fire in the life of Yuvraj Udayveer Singh who blackened the life of an innocent girl. Her body steadily began to collapse as her world came crashing down.
She cursed the prince with all her might. Saying this she lifted the huge scissors that she kept for trimming her plants and offered the gods the sacrifice of her blood, and asked forgiveness from the spirits of her ancestors. She cut her wrists with the sharp scissors and as blood oozed out of her veins, she glanced upwards towards the heavens requesting the gods to accept her sacrifice and punish the devil who had crushed her from the inside. Blood is the life force of any living creature, and she knew she could present no bigger offering to the gods than her blood. She asked for her soul's solace by punishing her mate who had vanquished her inner light by his betrayal and unquenchable covet. She wanted payback from the Prince of Debauchery for maligning her existence.
She was pure and naive and the treacherous prince had played with her feelings like a child plays with a toy, carelessly and recklessly, in turn leaving her brutally wounded from within. If Uday wanted a female body for the night then he could've had anyone, he shouldn't have played with her genuine feelings against his lust.
Su-Min's eyes closed as the blood dripped from of her veins and as she fell at her side, her roommate rushed in screaming at the top of her lungs at Su-Min's state.

As sun began to rise up and dawn set its course in Boston, a beautiful feminine figure on the other side of the world prepared to go to sleep. As she emptied the vase with old dried and shriveled roses a thorn pricked her finger and she withdrew it instantly, putting the finger in her mouth and sucking up the blood.
