A/N: I was initially going to make one chapter equal one day, but then I realized that the chapters would be super long if that was the case... so I'm going to split each story day into multiple chapters. =) This will be longer than 7 chapters. Thank you so much for expressing interest in this story!

Day One: Part I

Sanyukta didn't love Randhir, nor did she care if he had any feelings for her. She was aware that he hated her with a passion, and so did she - the passion of their hatred was so strong that they even made out in the mechanical lab the previous year due to their excessive anger at each other. It was the most strange thing, yet it evoked a reaction from her that she couldn't control, it made her feel quite turned on.

When she told Kaustuki that she would make Randhir fall for her in seven days or less, she questioned herself afterward, wondering why she would even make such a commitment - but she realized that there was a certain level of attraction she felt towards Randhir. Of course, it wasn't anything romantic - it couldn't be. She would never fall for a male chauvinist pig, or MCP as she would call it, like him. She just felt used to him, she felt comfortable to an extent around him... perhaps it was due to all the fighting.

She felt like backing out from making him fall for her - but she took up the challenge, and Sanyukta was never one to back off from challenges. She had to make this happen, whether she wanted to or not. She had to change this chauvinist into a crazy lover, she had to make him crazy for her... and she had to make sure she did it within seven days.

She was sitting in Professor Vardhaan's class, beside Kaustuki. There was a dream team meeting. The whole team was already seated. The only one missing was Sahil, who had a family problem and wasn't in FITE. She stole a glance at Randhir and noticed that he was immersed in writing something down. She frowned. What was he writing before Vardhaan sir even began to speak? She shook her head. Why did she care? She didn't know why she was so curious when it came to his matters.

She closed her eyes. How was she going to do it? Oh God, please help me out... I can't fail this challenge, she thought to herself. Kaustuki probably already told Jiggy about it, and knowing Jiggy, he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut, especially if she failed the challenge. She didn't even know how to start - especially since her and Randhir avoided each other everyday.

It was as if her prayers were heard.

"Alright dream team, for the next task I've already assigned partners," she heard Vardhaan sir say. She quickly opened her eyes, snapping back to reality."Randhir and Sanyukta, Parth and Vidhushi, and Jignesh and Kaustuki."

Sanyukta smiled widely, realizing that this would give her ample chance to be near Randhir and make him fall for her. She glanced at Randhir, who looked startled to see her smiling. He glared at her, and she turned back towards Vardhaan sir, a smile still on her face.

"The reason that I've put you together this way is because I have noticed that you work best in these teams," Vardhaan sir explained. "Now I don't want any disappointment... we are going to be competing with LITS for this project. I realize that the Techfest just finished, but this idea has been proposed by Miss Maya Raichand herself."

They had recently just beaten LITS in the Techfest. Sanyukta frowned, looking around. The whole dream team looked confused.

"We will start today - don't get too comfortable, you will need to spend hours for this. It won't be easy," Professor Vardhaan said, his eyes scrutinizing each of the members of the dream team. "This won't be like the techfest. There won't be tasks. There is just one task, which you have six days, including today, to complete. There will be a panel of judges on the sixth day who you will present to."

"Sir, what exactly do we have to present?" Vidhushi interrupted.

Sanyukta shot her a look that said to shut up. Surely Vardhaan sir was getting to that.

"Vidhushi Kumar!" Vardhaan sir yelled, "You will not be presenting anything!"

Sanyukta noticed Vidhushi slouch down in her seat, looking unhappy.

"Anyways, like I was saying," Vardhaan sir continued, "The only people presenting will be Randhir and Sanyukta. The other four of you will not be a part of this competition."

Sanyukta was confused - what was the point of putting the others in teams if it was only her and Randhir presenting and working on their own?

Vardhaan glanced at Sanyukta's confused expression, as if he knew what she was thinking.

"Two students from LITS will be competing as well. The reason that I made the other two teams is so you four don't laze off while Randhir and Sanyukta work hard for FITE. You four will do the same thing, except you will be competing with each other."

Sanyukta could feel Vidhushi's disappointment. "But sir," she interrupted, but Vardhaan sir raised a hand to stop her from talking further.

"I want each team to present a model - the model can be about anything you want, that utilizes engineering and benefits the world. I won't be helping you... don't prove that you will be farzi engineers this time. Now get started!" he told them, shooing them with his hands.

Before Sanyukta could even get up, Randhir had reached the door. She gritted her teeth. Who did he think he was? Why did he always have to be so annoying? She picked up her bag and ran after him, trying to catch him. They needed to discuss their project after all.

"Wait - Randhir!" she yelled, nearly slipping on the way there.

She grabbed his arm to catch her balance and he stopped in his tracks before turning around.

"What do you want?" he asked coldly.

She folded her arms and glared at him.

"I'm not delighted to be your partner either Randhir, but you know that we have to work together to have the best project. And we don't have time... we need to start!"

She saw Randhir raise his eyebrow. "Not delighted right? Then why were you smiling when Vardhaan sir announced us as partners?"

She felt her voice start to shake when answering him - she didn't know why he had to notice that.

"I - I wasn't thinking about that. You think of yourself too highly you MCP!" she replied, sounding affronted.

Randhir just ignored her and was about to walk away again when she grabbed his hand to stop him. He looked down at their hands and Sanyukta let go of it quickly.

"Meet me in the mechanical lab in an hour," he told her, "Bring ideas. Or else don't interfere when I do what I want."

Sanyukta nearly stomped her foot in frustration. He was so stubborn! How was she supposed to make him fall for her when he had such a stubborn personality? It wasn't worth being called a challenge if it was going to be easy though... and she would make sure that she would make him fall for her, no matter how hard it seemed.

She reached the mechanical lab half an hour late. She had completely forgotten that she had to meet Randhir and had lost track of time talking to Kaustuki and Jignesh in the canteen.

As she ran inside the room, she noticed that Randhir was already making something. Frustrated, she ran towards the table and snapped, "Why did you start?"

Randhir's head shot up. He held the screwdriver he was working with in front of her and pointed it towards her in a threatening manner. "First of all, you are late," he told her, holding the screwdriver closer to her face. She leaned back, her heart beating fast. Surely he wouldn't actually hurt her - would he? "Secondly, you wouldn't have provided any idea of substance."

He turned towards the parts that were assembled on the table once again and Sanyukta felt her blood boil with anger.

She grabbed the screwdriver from his hand and pointed it at him this time.

"We're working as a team you MCP!" she yelled, holding the screwdriver right in front of his nose.

He looked amused - quite the opposite of what Sanyukta was trying to do.

"Oh really, farzi?" he asked, stepping forward.

Despite her being the one to hold the screwdriver, she took a step back, her heart beating fast again. Was it because she was scared of him? No... there was nothing to be scared of. She had the screwdriver after all.

He snatched the screwdriver from her and turned towards the project. "If you want to be of any help, then research electric cars," he commanded.

She frowned.

"Electric cars are already invented," she pointed out.

Randhir rolled his eyes and didn't say a word.

"Randhir, can you please explain what it is you are doing?" she asked, getting frustrated again. "I'm your partner for goodness sake!"

"Listen farzi," he told her impatiently. "I don't have time for nonsense. We're going to prepare a presentation on electric cars and why they're the best option economically and environmentally. We aren't supposed to invent anything. Plus electric cars are widely underestimated."

Sanyukta couldn't deny that the idea was a good one, so she nodded in response. She hadn't thought of anything either, so she bit her tongue.

"More than anything it's going to be how we present our model and whether we manage to persuade them," he explained.

"I know," she replied stubbornly, her ego being shaken. She didn't like it when people assumed that she didn't understand how something worked.

Randhir rolled his eyes.

"Alright then, start researching. I'll build the model," he commanded.

"Why do you have to build the model?"

"Because farzi, I'm better at it than you," he told her. "Not to say that you're better at researching, but you can probably do a decent job... I mean you know how to use Google right?"

She pursed her lips, annoyed. Why did he always try and make her feel stupid? She wasn't rank two in the top engineering college for nothing.

"You still aren't rank one," he said, interrupting her thoughts, as if he had read her mind.

Deciding against arguing, she took out her laptop from her bag and turned it on. After all, arguing with Randhir never got her anywhere. He always still did what he wanted.

They sat in silence for hours, him building and her researching. She hadn't even noticed the time fly by. Researching electric cars lead to her researching the earth's resources and fossil fuels, which lead to her reading up on greenhouse gasses. She just spend hours reading and reading. It was only when her phone vibrated with a text that she glanced at it and noticed that it was already eleven.

"The canteen is probably closed by now," she complained, causing Randhir to jump.

They had been working in such silence that they had even forgotten that the other one was in the same room.

"What time is it?" he asked her, yawning.

She shot him a dirty look. He asked her as if she was his secretary or something, keeping track of the time for him.

"It's eleven," she replied coldly.

"What?!" he yelled. "Why didn't you tell me it was getting late?"

She fumed with anger.

"I am not your alarm clock Randhir!" she yelled, furiously, her heart hammering inside her chest. Why was her heart beating so fast if she was this angry? She shook it off and clutched the table with force.

"No of course, why would I expect that from you - you need your own alarm clock. You got here late!" he yelled back.

"Ugh!" she screamed at him, frustrated by his behaviour. "Why do I even expect that an MCP like you will treat someone with respect."

"Oh, why would I expect a farzi like you to arrive on time?" he bellowed.

She ran towards him and grabbed his shirt with force. "You could have told me the time too you MCP! I'm starving right now and the cafeteria is closed. If I starve to death it's all your fault!"

Why did she want this chauvinist to fall for her? He never respected women. "You think women are your slaves?" she yelled, pushing him back against the wall.

His back hit the wall with a loud thud. He grabbed her shoulders and tried to push her back but she remained adamant about standing close to him.

"What are you trying to do Sanyukta?" he yelled, trying to get her off him.

But she clung on to him, refusing to let go.

"Promise to get me food!" she yelled, holding his shirt so tightly that the top two buttons came undone. "Only then will I let you go."

"Shit Sanyukta, let go of me!" he yelled.

She could feel his heart beating against her chest, as fast as hers was.

"First promise to get me food," she whispered. Why was she whispering? Why couldn't she raise her voice right now? Why did she feel weak? It had to be the hunger. She pulled on his shirt again, and the rest of his buttons came undone.

"Sanyukta stop doing that," he said angrily, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her.

"Why?" she questioned curiously.

"Sanyukta when a girl is this close, you don't know the effect it has on us guys!"

Sanyukta's mouth nearly fell open. That was so gross.

"Ew you perv!" she yelled, but held on to him even more tightly for some reason.

Then she got it - the first step of her plan. Attraction. Attraction was the first step to love after all. You had to notice the one you fell for.

She caressed his shoulder softly, slipping her hand under the collar of his shirt.

"What the hell are you doing?" he yelled.

She didn't know why she had fun doing this - and more so, why she was so comfortable doing it.

"So if Vidhushi or Kaustuki was standing this close to you, you would be turned on?" she whispered, leaning in closer to him.

She could feel the warmth radiating off his skin.

"Ew Sanyukta, it's only if a girl you find attractive does it," he told her.

Sanyukta smirked. "So you find me attractive?"

"N - no, I meant - just let go! Leave me alone Sanyukta! What are you doing? Uh just stop please!"

"Promise me first that you will get me food," she told him.

"As if you're the only hungry one," he replied, grabbing her arms with force and pushing her back.

She breathed deeply, noticing that he was taking deep breaths too as he buttoned his shirt back up.

"Come on," he said quickly. "Let's sneak out and get food."

Her eyes widened. "No, I don't want to get in trouble!"

"Then starve!" he yelled, clearly pissed off. "Anyways, you looked like you were more hungry for something else."

Her mouth dropped open. "How dare you Randhir!" she said, advancing towards him.

This time he stepped away from the wall to avoid being trapped again.

"Do you want food or not?" he asked.

She nodded quietly.

"Then follow me."

They sneaked outside and when the guard wasn't looking, ran for their lives towards his motorbike. Upon reaching it and gasping for air, they both burst out laughing.

"Come on," he told her, straightening his face, and regaining his comsposure.

He got on his bike and started the engine. She sat behind him and wrapped her arms around his abdomen, feeling his body. His muscles were hard. She wanted to rest her head on his chest, but she refrained from doing so.

"So why did you get turned on?" she asked him once they were on the road.

"Hmm, I didn't get turned on," he told her, making a turn.

"Right..." Sanyukta replied, rolling her eyes. "MCP at least you acknowledged that a girl can make you feel certain way."

"Not a girl farzi, girls," he corrected with a smirk.

She frowned. She didn't know why she didn't like it when he spoke of multiple girls like that.

"Meaning?" she asked him, feeling envious. "Have other girls made you feel this way?"

"Katrina," he smirked, increasing his speed. "She's so hot."

"Katrina?" she asked, jealousy taking over her senses. "Who is she? Your ex girlfriend?"

"I wish," he replied, "Katrina Kaif."

"So I'm as hot as Katrina?" Sanyukta teased.

"No, I was lying in there so you could get off me. You have no effect on me."

She felt her heart sink.

"No effect?" she asked, pouting. But Randhir just ignored her and continued to drive.

She took one hand off his waist and hit his shoulder hard.

"Ouch what was that for?" he yelled, clearly taken aback.

"For lying!" she replied with equal force. "I know I turn you on - admit it. Randhir Singh Shekhawat got turned on by Sanyukta Agarwal."

"I swear if you tell anyone," he threatened, sounding irritated that she knew how she made him feel.

"Hah, don't worry Mr. Shekhawat, I don't have any intentions of lowering my standards for the public."

The motorbike came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the empty road.

"What?" he yelled. "Please Sanyukta, girls would die to kiss me. You're lucky you got to do that too!"

Sanyukta felt her cheeks turn crimson.

"Why don't you admit you like me," she taunted him, trying to hide the fact that she enjoyed that kiss from last year. "You were into it more than me."

"No I wasn't!" he replied, defensively, "You were so enjoying it! I was waiting for it to end."

"Wanna bet?" her competitive nature spoke.

She bit her tongue right away, realizing what she just said. Betting implied that she had to kiss him again.
