Wonderful update Aru...😊

When parth was showering kisses on Subha I guessed she must be dreaming otherwise how come Paarth would so soon reach to Athens when he celebrated New Years in India.

But what happen 17 years back with both of them. Did teen Paarth & Subha made love...you know the emotions and hormonal changes sometimes leads the teens to explore beyond the attraction...as both of them were discovering new attraction and love for each other. The incident somehow changed both of their lives esp Subha otherwise she wont be having such nightmares. Well there may be other possibilities as well this is just my guess.

I guess something past may be the same might have happened to Subha and hence she is getting these nightmares.
I wished there must be a solution to her nightmares maybe once again she meets Parth once again.

That was an intriguing update.. The dream seriously defined subhas character well.. I would love to know more about what kind of a person she is.. The depth of every character.. The line about human nature was very cleverly written .. But the best part was Greece!! That is such a romantic location of my dreams.. I would love to read descriptions of Greece and also subhas photography skills fascinate me and the feel of the story becomes so intact.. U have justified the title modern day..
But I think you need a beautiful heading for the beautiful story.. This story is so unique.. The concept the feel just so so fascinating! And the best part is the characters are not just same thing and they do same mistakes again.. The characters here are human and human beings can be different as time passes..

The car dropped her near her house. The house is small nowhere near the bunglow she used to live in India but she likes it in this way. Although in New York but the house was located in township which is a bit distant from the busy streets. Like the persons living here.
The Limuzin sent by the sponsor went back dropping her. She turned back and found the milky white four wheeler had been already parked. That means he is already at home. 2 a.m in new year is quite early to be back from business meetings must say. She smirks and unlocks the door.
Odin the German Shepherd comes downstairs to welcome his gorgeous mistress. The ferocious looking creatire was looking magnificent in the colourful bulbs that decorated the tiny hall. His fierce yet beautiful looks is suitable to its owner. She every new year decorates the house as she did back in India. Even after knowing that's wont meet any praise any more. But still she never stops herself from decorating, perhaps for herself, perhaps for the memory of most special someone.
Till four years back too the new year would have meant two beautylover people making everything of surrounding beautiful. Whole time of Christmas to 31st she and Parth would have got absorbed in planning how to make this party more special than previous years. Ofcourse only two of them were not there, neither of them could think of celebrating without whole pentagon's presence. Most beautiful member of the group would by then was absorbed to try a new style or to enhance his appearance to be more killer in the eyes of ladies. But Naksh's any experiment wouldnt be completed without her satisfying approval. Youngest member would have been busy with the list of invited guests but that too needed her nod at last. The big army man would have taken the responsibility of kitchen but Hem wouldnt been satisfied until she tasted every item and gave him green signal. And eldest of them the Doctor was busy in list of expenditure but that too needed her help. After the five men and one woman were done with the arrangement they awaited for the scientist without whose approval everything was meaningless for most special member of pentagon. Parth loved Krish more than he ever had loved anyone else. Shikha always had wondered what bond her most special friend and her dearest love had shared was perhaps undefineble in any language of the universe.
Shikha sighs life would have been much easier if she hadnt loved Parth such deeply. The love gave birth too much expectation, possessions and wish to bound that free Soul and that's why the pain of rejection was that hurtful which made her taking such drastic step.
She slowly walks upstairs, his room has light switched on. Mr. Attitude is still working she assumes. Yes she calls him that. No better name can suit him. If there was a guiness book record for showing attitude the prize would surely go to him. Oh yes she knows once upon a time he had quite strong base of female admirers who used to compare him with tragic hero of myths but more than tragic hero he deserves to be called attitude hero. Odin's welcoming tone surely had reached to his ears. But will burden of attitude ever let him bother?
"Attitude kills" yeah too true for him its more than circumstance his attitude that destroyed him and as well as her, since the time of London 14 years back its gradually absorbing her and she cant do anything but let it continue.
She enters into her room. And puts her satin jacket on bed. She comes towards mirror. Her off shoulder white gown is making all the lights reflecting over her dark skin that makes her glowing. She smirked. Turning 33 this year but still no change had been occured to her since college days. She knows she is desired by many. Till now wherever she goes she brings men on their knees. Noone could ever resist her charm. Except that free willed Rockstar ofcourse. Who only enjoyed but never let himself being captured in her love. Why and how Parth did this is still a mystery to her or perhaps she has falsely assumed Parth ever loved her.
She regains consciousness sensing warm far rubing against her. She gigles and turns to pet odin. Will anyone believe its her third anniversary? It doesnt matter for Mr. Attitude as he was married before but its not same case for her. Anyway who cares as if they are like any other couple in universe. She pats Odin's head. Noone remembers but this unspeaking creature remembers the speciality of the day. Its his second year anniversary in this house. Two years back on 1st January an one month old odin was brought into their lives as only worthful deed by Mr. Attitude in these long 3 years.
Odin suddenly runs to her dressing table and seems to find something by smelling.
"Odin!" she was quite astonished in dog's unusual behaviour. But he didn't bother. He pulled the drawyar by mouth and put his nose into it.
"Odin! Naughty boy what are you doing? She scolded mildly.
Odin made a pampering sound and kept looking at her keeping his paw into drawyar. She got it he is signaling her to peep in. "but why"
Confusingly she looked into the drawyar and found a small golden box there. She picks and opens it. A platinum pendant was kept there. She holds it up. The pendant's shape was something she had never seen before. Neither heart shape not of a circle its shaped like that of a flame of lamp which is called "Deepshikha".
Mr. Sharma remembers the day? Mrs. Sharma's big eyes widened.
