I am awed by the brilliance of this chapter and your writing skills Sandhya. Take a bow, you manage to outdo yourself with every update.👏Nani too thinks that IPK lost its plot.. Wonder which are her favourite episodes??😆
She is an elder that everyone should be blessed to have in their lives. I like how she's respectful of the ways of the youth but still shows her inability to accept some of them.
As soon as Truth or Dare was suggested I envisaged the game playing a role in bringing out the secrets but then you went off a different tangent completely when Arnav hauled her away and made me realize there's no use anticipating the next scene in your story because we can't think or write like Sandhya, just like when you made Payal stroll through the delicacies determinedly making me think she's leading us into a important scene, only to grab some crab😆 .
As I scrolled down the page and still no sight of Arnav made me apprehensive, not knowing that you've written such a humongous chapter(a big thanks for it) and Arnav was on his way to sweep her off her feet literally.
Glad that Khushi poured beer on his head, arrogant ass that he can be sometimes, he totally deserved it. Must have made him look smexy too...😆 and then he shook droplets on her. Takes her hand and places it on his heart and confesses his love. Loved that you picked up reference from two of my favourite scenes of IPK for the above two instances.
The diwali terrace scene was given a closure that it required. It had rankled me at that time when the leap was taken and it was left unexplained and untouched. Though I believe that jealousy or as he said seeing your girl in someone's arms did result in the major turnaround that he's had. Khushi was able to camouflage her feelings in front of him but in her unguarded moments he saw her physical discomfort around her fiance and unhappiness in her eyes which made him realize they were still frozen emotionally at the same time and place.
She remembers seeing him on her graduation that happened three years ago and remembers him sitting on the third seat in the last row on the left !!! Makes me so mad at him right now, she has suffered so much pain.. He decides that staying away from him is the best for her and then he decides that she hasn't moved on and is still emotionally suffering and decides to bring her back to his life. When will he stop playing God!!!
But then yes you are right they are lovers who are lost who are trying to find a way back to each other..
Thanks once again Sandhya for being the writer that you are. Take care..😊
p.s. a humongous chapter results in a humongous comment. Sorry for that
