Love and trust! Two words that form the foundation of any relationship. Perhaps the only two words that have the ability to sustain any relationship! You take any one out and the relationship will falter! N that has been the case with arnav n khushi! Love was never the problem here! In fact arnav's loved her too much, so much so that this love only made him let her go, for her own good! N khushi loved him so much that even after five years her love for him hasnt changed or diminished a bit! As for trust, i dont think either had any on each other! Neither arnav trusted khushi five years back with his sorrow, n khushi well she has legitimate reason to mistrust him! In fact i absolutely loved her line' i can trust him with my life but not with my line'!!!! Sort of summed it all! So in the end their problem has been ' abundance of love but lack of trust'!!! So i think khushi needs to work on the love part while arnav can on the trust part!!! Lets see where it takes both of them from here! Given that both have finally accepted their feelings to themselves and things are lot clearer than they were earlier!!!
Oh by the way you gave khushi the ultimate setting and surroundings for her 'introspection'!!! However i felt the place , the beautiful serene sea, the sand, the peace, calmness , all these are more conducive to make a person forget his tensions and just enjoy the moment, feel the nature! Seek that ultimate solace!!
N then like a demi god arnav emerges out of sea!!! I have been visually replaying this image since i have read the chapter!!! Bliss!!!
N yes i loved how khushi held her own n didnt give in to arnav's demands/ requests whatever u call it to talk to him!! Yes do it khushi when u feel like it and not when he asks for it! N dont feel bad about giving him pain, He is used to it! Rather feeds on it. But i really wonder what is it that he wants to tell her now? What piece of info has he withheld from her??? Really curious!!
As for aman and anya , the real hero n heroine of this chapter, i would say god bless these two! They have been really lucky to get each other as life partners! N after this chapter my respect for aman has increased even more! I guess he is the most stable of the three men here!!! He really knows how to say right things at the right time!! Really liked how he supported her all along!!
N this part has also made me suspicious! Is it possible that anya is not ahalya's daughter? Given how she said she dont find any similarity with ahalya? Or it was just an observation and nothing of consequence? One thing also caught my attention! Its strange how these friends have been shortchanged in one department or the other. If ana and pal got the love of their lived they were deprived of the parents' love! Khushi who was blessed with parents' love had to struggle all her life to get Arnav's love!
What to say! Life is seldom fair!!
Lovely chapter sandhya!!! Lot of thinking, introspection, realisations happened here!!!
Waiting for the next part!!
