Rey's dad was quite surprised to see him at the breakfast table after a whole of 3 months. That too all fresh. He and his wife both shared surprised glances but shrugging their shoulders they got to their work.
"Dad, doctor ko consult kiya aapne in the meantime?? " Rey asked engrossed in his toast.
" Haa, blood pressure bad raha hai aur tablets bhi time pe nahi lete " his mom immediately started complaining when his Dad just made a face very well knowing what would be Rey's reaction. But both his mom and dad are surprised to see him acting all normal. In these three months all his world , everything he spoke is about Kavya. The still mystery girl for them and he had his breakfast to dinner in that room itself.
" Good Morning Sir "
" Mr. Kashyap?? aap itni subah yaha?? koi important kaam?? " Mr.Singhania asked quite surprised with the sudden arrival of his manager.
" Sir actually Reyaansh Sir ne bulaya tha "
" Haan maine hi bulaya , aap baithiye mai aaraha hun " Rey grabbed another toast and placing it in his plate he walked to the couch .
" Mr. Kashyap jab se maine choda office tab se leke abhi tak jitne bhi projects humne liya, interns every minute detail mujhe batayiye "
" Par Rey ye sabkuch kyun?? " Mr.Singhania was confused.
"Kyunki aajse aap ghar pe rahoge aur mai bina kuch jaane office sambhal toh nahi sakta " Kriya slowed down hearing what he was saying. She heard Rey left office 3 months back, and she was surprised knowing he is coming back. His parents were very happy to see him back to normal. Rey was very responsible and fun loving guy, and in the last three months they kind of lost him somewhere .

"Tumhari kaam ki quality achi hai but speed badao " Rey said going through the report she submitted. She is their technical head . She pouted sadly and nodded.
"mai tumhe job se thodi nikal raha hun" Rey laughed seeing her making her pout more. Suddenly he went silent and stated bluntly.
"Back to work " and he got engrossed in work shocking her. He was laughing just a second back. Confused with his behaviour she left to continue her work. Once she left he caressed her imaginary face where she stood few minutes back. Stroking her cheek he smiled and sighing he got back to his work.

" Rey aapki love story batayenge? " she asked hoping a yes and grinned wide as he nodded.
" Jyaada khaas nahi , but yeah mere papa iss village ki head the , u know sarpanch and all?? And uski family dusre village se yaha aaye the. Bohut cute thi wo , bohut lambe baal, salwar , aur hamesha wo smile. " he looked into the sky again and caressed the edge of her imaginary lips.
" Bas peecha karna shuru, kahi bhi jaati toh waha pohunch jaata tha , pareshaan karta tha " he chuckled as she heard with utmost concentration.
"Aur fir ek din jab wo apni college se wapas ghar jaa rahi thi , gali khali tha aur bas haath pakadliya aur kehdiya I love you. Blush karte chaligayi. Uski muh se haan sunne keliye mujhe teen mahine lage. Aur fir shuru humari "love story " " he quoted in air.
"Fir kya hua? "
"Fir kya hua?? mera college khatam aur u know sarpanch ka beta hun so bahar padna tha, do saal mumbai gaya tha , tabse letters likhti thi , batati ki mujhse kitna pyaar karti hai aur mujhe kitna miss karti hai . Wapas aane ke baad problems hue thode jab ghar pe bataya as humari caste same nahi tha but maangaye in the end. And then shaadi . Hum donon ne hi der kiya, parents ke maan ne ke do saal baad shaadi ki humne, pata nahi kyun, rukhna chahte the , par galti kardi. Shaadi hui nahi paanch din ke baad mera accident hogaya. Finally jab hum saath the we got seperated. But not for forever though " he winked.
" awww kitni cute love story hai , but aapko sach mei lagta hai ki wo miljayegi?? "
" ofcourse. acha toh mai tumhe ek baat poochun??? "
" Ohh question of the day?? poochiye " he frowned confused.
"question of the day?? "
"haan aapne notice nahi kiya?? har din aap mujhse ek question poochte ho "
" really?? " he was surprised as she nodded her head.
" Toh aaj ki question * he chuckled followed by her * tumhara koi boyfriend?? "
" Tch . No. koi nahi mila abhi tak " she pouted sadly making him laugh hard.

Days passed on, talking on the terrace at night became their routine. Kriya started enjoying his company much more than anything. He has something in him which kept her binded to him. Slowly their talks drifted from his last birth and Kavya to her life , her town, their work, and every important and useless topics in the world. He has a very different tastes, so much different from her's . She tried to know more about him. He was sincere and focused yet he is naughty and careless. His everymove attracted her towards him. It's been a month or more for them being friends. One fine -day he asked her to leave to home alone. He didn't even come for dinner. After everyone slept she sat on the couch looking at the door waiting for him. Today she missed talking to him so much. After a long wait he came at one . He was surprised seeing her awake.
"tum soyi nahi?? " he asked quite surprised.
" nahi , neendh nahi aarahi thi, kaha the aap?? " she asked curiously. He laughed inwards knowing the reason very well of her not getting sleep. Shaking his head he looked at her.
" Chai?? Mai tab tak change karke aata hun?? " she grinned wide nodding her head excited.

"Ye ?? aaj koi special hai kya? " she asked taking the chocolates and the piece of cake he offered her.
"haan haina, bohut jyaada special , aaj humari shaadi ka din hua karta tha. Infact abhi bhi hai " he grinned as her smile vanished. Somewhere it irked her.
" aap abhi bhi kavya se hi pyaar karte ho?? " she asked irritated hoping a no.
" haan !! aur hamesha karte rahunga " he adjusted her hair in the imaginary face looking at sky. She fumed. He caressed the blank sky like mad all lost in that girl who she doesn't even believe exists.
" agar nahi mili toh ?? kisi aur se pyaar karenge?? " she asked hoping a yes.
" Nahi!! kabhi nahi " his reply was crisp. She stood up irritated and was about to leave when he held her wrist stopping her and stood up, her back facing him.
"aise kyun jaa rahi ho??? Kahi aisa toh nahi ki you like me?? " he asked with a smirk.
Sighing she closed her eyes. She knows he will never love her, so expressing her feelings doesn't matter much. But she choose to say to him and state that she will never ever talk to him even again.
" I do love you , but that's my problem, don't bother " she gritted her teeth. He walked front and caressed her cheek with all love sending shivers down her spine. How much he craved to caress her face. Having her beside him all the time he could never caress her face and had to caress that imaginary face of hers to reduce his desire to touch her. Taking her palm into his he signaled her to follow and took her downstairs. She looked at him with wide eyes as he left her palm and was unlocking the room and took her hand and started walking in. Is he really letting her to see the room? She instantly fell in love with the room. Everything was in white. And the walls had heavy colored carvings. She was looking around the room with amazement when he stood back of her and whispered in her ear making her jump.
" Kavya " he pointed to one end of the room and she slowly looked at the pic hesitating. There stood a huge painting of a couple, him and his love Kavya , both in bridal dresses and she standing in front eyes lowered blushing a bit when he stood back of her his hands on her shoulders holding her and face straight but his eyes failing to leave her face as he looked at her from the corner of his eyes. She took a sharp intake of air when she realized the girl with a huge nosering standing before him resembled her, infact was exact copy of her. She was too shocked to notice his hand wrapping around her waist from back and him hugging her from back. With a slight kiss on her cheek he spoke.
" Tumhi kavya ho , uss din dress ki wajah se nahi , tumhari wajah se maine tumhe hug kiya " he smiled as she looked at him shocked.
" par mujhe kuch yaad nahi aaraha hai " she frowned .he turned her and pulled her close and caressed her cheeks, making her breathe high. Passing his fingertips on her closed eyelashes he took in her image. placing a kiss at the edge of her lips he whispered on her lips.
" I know, but yaha aagayi na sab yaad aajayega. Agar nahi aaya tab bhi tum mujhse hi toh pyaar karti ho " he smiled wide and that's when she realized why he didn't reveal that she herself is his kavya in the start. He waited for her to fall for him.
" agar mai aapse pyaar nahi karti toh ?? "
" for sure karogi because tum meri ho " he pulled her more close and captured her lips having their first kiss. Pushing her on the bed he came upon her as she breathed hard.
" aaj se tum yahi rahogi , humare kamre mei , got that?? I missed you so much. " she blushed and caressed his face . It's been a week since they were living together in that room. Rey's parents were more than happy to get their son back and seeing him happy.
It's sunday evening when he went out to bring some chocolates for her when she entered the room taking a bath. She walked to the painting and caressed his face and that's when she noticed that someone painted with fingers , and it's clearly visible that it's not by the painter. A round golden locket. She frowned and shook her head as something made her blink her eyes suddenly. Some quick flashes. Frowning she walked along to the other corner to the mirror. After looking at the mirror , lost in thoughts she pushed the mirror aside and turned the knob behind it opening a small block which contained a single box. She frowned realizing how did she know that hidden place. Taking that box she walked to the bed and opened the box to find a round locket made of gold. She opened the locket and saw it empty. Looking at it she slept .

"Kriya , utho , shaam ko so rahi ho?? " he shook her. He waited for her to wake up when she sat up suddenly.
"Kya hua?? theek ho?? " he cupped her face quickly when she kept looking down and started laughing between her breathes.
" Kriya ?? " he called once again when she flew towards him engulfing him in a tight hug.
" Mai aapkeliye ye laayi thi " she pulled back and showed the locked excited.
" kab?? " he asked looking at the locket in her hand.
"tab , jab aap bahar gaye?? Uss din jis din aapki accident hui thi, naya model tha toh maine papa se poochke aapkeliye khareeda . Surprise dena chahti thi " she chocked.
" Kab?? " and that's when it hit him. She is talking about the past. And he is not able to believe she remembered it.
"Aapkeliye maine li thi " she forwarded her palm with the locket on it towards him innocently looking at him with hopeful eyes. He grabbed the locket in his hand and held the back of her head pulling her into a tight hug.
Both laughed hard after pulling back. They had no reason to laugh but they laughed hard.
After few minutes when finally they are calm he kneeled before her and leaning towards her he asked.
" Can I ask the question of the day? " she nodded confused as why all of a sudden he wanted to ask question.
" Do you believe in Re-Births?? " She looked at him and smiled looking down at first and nodded her head in negative.
" Nahi...pehle tak " she looked at him and both laughed all over again falling on the bed. He pulled her close and kissed her forehead finally knowing they are going to be forever together now , to fulfill all those promises and make new promises.
