The confession from Khushi that she had agreed to marry Arnav for Palak had brought a lot of happiness in Shantivan. Everyone were hugging her, blessing her , kissing Palak and trying to tell her that finally Palak will be getting a chance to call maa and Paapa to someone and that someone were the two people who could even die for her. Arnav was congratulated by Buaji and then his Nani who didnt wait to decide when should the marriage be performed. They thought of meeting the Priest and finalising a soonest date. Until all this happened, Arnav was still glancing at Khushi again and again. He didnt know what made her think about agreeing to this proposal so soon.

Anjali: I guess Chotte forgot to go to Office . Hai naa Chotte?

She teased him pinching his cheeks but he didnt say a word. He came to Khushi though and took Palak from her and handed her to Anjali

Arnav: Di can you please take care of Palak? I need to talk to Khushi. Alone.

Anjali was surprised what that talk was which he couldnt do it here before the family .She still never questioned him and allowed him to leave . Arnav dragged Khushi with him to his room and locked the door.

Khushi: Why did you get me here ?

Arnav: Why did you agree for the marriage ? Just one night was enough for you to decide such an important thing?

Khushi: Nothing is more important to me than Palak. I can do anything for her. Even if it means being your wife and fulfilling all my duties for the rest of my life. And whats bothering you Mr Raizada? You should be happy I agreed. Afterall now you will get a chance to flirt with me openly. NO one will stop you to close this distance between us. Even I wouldnt. You used Lavanyaji physically and then didnt mind throwing her out of your life when you felt the same desires for me. The only difference between her and me will be that me being Palak's caretaker, you wish to give that desire a name so that Palak is secured. Being a girl who values her cultures so much , I can never deny my husband from geting close to me. So you should be happy of that . Why are you angry? Or should I say you are faking your anger just to show me that you really care for my decisions?

That was height. Arnav could never bear someone pointing him for such a sick reason.

Arnav: You think I am marrying you for drawing pleasures? Dont be in any mistake Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta, you are not the only one beautiful woman on this earth whom a man can get attracted to. I told you this marriage is just for Palak. I want her to get every right she deserves.

Khushi: I wish the same. But I am just pointing out that you will be more profitable in this relationship because other than Palak you will also get me, the person who attracts you so much.

This was enough for Arnav. He could see Khushi was still mistaking his liking for her and he will have to answer her now before this matter worsens. He caught her hand again and this time with a strong grip because he was angry on her. He took her downstairs again where the whole family were sitting and making discussions about the next steps. Arnav and Khushi stood right before them .

Anjali: So Chotte ? did you private talks finish?

She teased again but seemed like Arnav was not interested in that.

Arnav: Di, before things finalize here, I have something to add up.

Nani: Haan Chotte . What is it ?

Arnav: The marriage will be purely for Palak's sake and me and Khushi will never be treating each other as husband and wife physically. Its just not my condition for this marriage but also a promise that I will follow till my last breathe. I will never force Khushi for consumming our marriage.

It was very hard to believe what Arnav just said. The whole family was just sharing their happiness of finally being able to convince Arnav and Khushi for marriage, that Arnav now had placed such a big condition and promise before them. He was holding Khushi's hand since the time he had dragged her down before the family for making this announcement. Khushi was also just staring at his face becoming blank.

Anjali:Chotte? Do you even realise what you promising ?

Arnav: Haan Di. I am not taking any decision without a reason. I dont want Khushi to blame me for marrying her for my own benefits, neither I want her to think this marriage will give me all rights to claim her because I am highly attracted to her. I have no such intentions to spoil my image taking such irrelevant accusitions. So I have decided. Me and Khushi will get marry but I wont touch her, so dont expect to have a heir to this family from our end. Palak will be our only daughter after we legally adopt her.

The family still had so many doubts which they tried sorting but Arnav ignored them all and turned to Khushi once again.

Arnav: I purposely announced this before the family. I dont want you to think I will change my mind about this decision later. They will remain a witness of this Promise. I hope now you can confidently marry me Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta?

Khushi 's heart started beating rapidly. Was he insane? He could promise something so opposite to what he desired?

Khushi: You dont have to do this Mr Raizada.

Arnav: Why? Why not Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta? I am just proving you and your thoughts wrong. I am just clarifying myself because I will never allow any random person to play with my intentions and feelings. Are you ready for this ?

Khushi: Every girl expects something from her husband at some point of time. This promise is just what no girl will accept from her husband .. I know I dont see you in the position of my husband but someday I can change my mind .Instead of making that day come and working on it, you are promising something which will complicate our happiness forever. I cannot accept this.

Arnav: You amaze me Miss Gupta. What do you want me to do then ? You dont wish I should fulfil my desire of touching you, neither do you want me to take an oath of NEVER touching you then what do you want?

Khushi: I want you to NOT TOUCH ME UNTIL I am ready. I want you to maintain distance between us until I get a confidence on you that there is more to this attraction. I want you to respect my feelings and help me raise Palak as her mother hoping that someday when I accept you as my husband from heart, I get the opportunity of giving birth to my own child. Will you do this Mr Raizada?

There was a pin drop silence in the room and the family were startled with Khushi's demand. They were really happy that unlike any other girl she wasnt taking Arnav's random decisions to be final. She was just helping him think right and act right which was more than excellent at this moment. Arnav smirked at her because somewhere even though she showed him a ray of hope in their relationship, he was hurt that she could think so low about his intentions with Lavanya. She thinks he used her and then threw her out because he was bored of her ?Doesnt she know Lavanya's true colours? Or does she think that he used Lavanya's true colours as a way to get rid of her and make Khushi enter his life next?

The family were waiting for Arnav's answer which never came up . Khushi extended her hand towards him.

Khushi: Do you agree to this Mr Raizada?

Arnav scanned her hand and then back at her face.

Arnav: Do hell with your "touch me not" game. I am not a toy whom you can key and make it dance on your moves. If you so much interested in marrying for Palak, we are doing this Miss Gupta but guess we both will have to stick to each other's decision , restricting it only till Palak . Everything other than that doesnt matter to me.!!

Saying that he left the house to get back to his office .Khushi was surprised with his words. Does he mean he will never show up his attraction for her anymore? The family were again happy and could take a sigh of relief that Khushi could put some sense into Arnav which was much needed. Now what happens to their conditions after marriage was left to them.

It was one hell of a day for Arnav Singh Raizada who was sandwiched between Palak and her caretaker Miss Khushi Gupta. How can she have so much of ego to deny the desires of a Man like Arnav Singh Raizada? Any girl in her place would have been happy that his desires for her were getting a legal name but here she was much interested in needing time from him. Why will he wait for her? Who was she to tell him when he can touch her and when not? And all this can still be accepted but the fact she thinks he only uses girls for his benefit was just too much to digest. She thinks he lusted her, didnt she? Why the hell couldnt she see that he even after having a liking for her, he was going to marry Lavanya because he had given his word to her. Only because she had cruel intentions, he asked Lavanya to get out of their life and all this was somewhere related to Palak only . Why couldnt Khushi realise it? He angrily fisted some of the papers in his hand and threw them down. Jeff entered the cabin at this same time. He picked the papers and checked them once.

Jeff: Any problem ASR? These are our next designs for the shoot, didnt you like them?

Arnav: Cut the crap Jeff and pass me the audit files.

Jeff: One minute.

He dialed the extension and asked for the audit files. Arnav was leaning at his chair waiting till the file comes whereas Jeff was arranging the papers again in place .The door knocked and Khushi came inside with the file . Arnav saw her once and then without giving any proper look to her, he concentrated on the file that she handed. Khushi didnt leave. She waited there only.

Jeff: Uhh. By the way Boss, I hope to be the first to congratulate you both and that too together. So congratulations for your upcoming marriage.

Khushi thanked jeff whereas Arnav frowned at him.

Jeff: How is Baby Palak ? She is lucky to have you both as her caretakers.

Arnav: Jeff if you have finished arrnaging the papers just leave.

Jeff: Yes. Sir.

He left the cabin and Khushi still waited. Arnav started signing the papers not looking at her.

Arnav: I dont need to give you a special command to leave Miss Gupta.

Khushi: I have to talk something.

Arnav: At home. I am busy here.

Khushi: Its official otherwise I too wouldnt disturb you for no reason Mr Raizada.

He stopped signing and giving her a brief look he leaned back on his chair giving his full concentration to her..only her.

Arnav: Kya hai?

Khushi: Naniji was asking me how will I handle work after marriage. I told her just the way I am doing now, I will handle things even after that. She was happy with my decision .

Arnav: So? Whats there to tell me then?

She could realise he was still angry with the talks they had at home and this was the first time he was being so rude to her.

Khushi: But Buaji thinks different. She wants me to be at home and take care of Palak and other responsibilties of Shantivan unless you are happy with the present way. You are going to be my future husband so she is right. I need to take your advise too.

Arnav: Miss Gupta I guess you have not taken my words seriously. I told you today morning. This marriage is purely for Palak's sake. Except Palak, I will have no right on your decisions. Feel free to decide what you want.,

He got up from the chair and taking the file he left his own cabin. She could sense the frustration in his words. But if thats what he wants, then fine. She was happy with her present way of handling things, She will work and handle the household both, after marriage.
