Hey,
I have always wondered, can you un-love someone.
Jenny wrote in "A Late Spring" that opposite of love is not hate, its indifference. Coz hate is still an emotion but indifference means no emotion.
The person is there and you don't feel a thing. So basically you un-love that person.
So is it possible?
Love is the most beautiful off all the emotions. It raises you beyond the boundary of yourself. You let that someone special seep into your soul. And once you have done that, you can't undo it. It's there, forever. Love is there, forever. The feeling could recede, bury itself in the deepest depth of your heart but it can never cease to exist.
Another question that comes to my mind...
So can it bloom again? Can you love again?
I think yes!
The old love can bloom again..
the new love can bloom again...
So who dictates this? Who decides this?
Now here the person in question comes into the picture.
Its my heart and its allowed to listen to its heartbeat. I know for whom my heart beats, smiles and dances even. Maybe its still in love with the old tune or maybe it has fallen for the new rhyme.
But my heart still loves coz it loved yesterday and it will love tomorrow too.
Sandhya, you are a writer of par excellence. So could you just stop explaining yourself. As a writer you own this story. You have your characters clearly etched out. You know how to tell a story. So please dont justify yourself. Every person is entitled to his/her opinion. Listen to everyone but follow what your heart says. And plz don't ever justify your characters, your story and your POV. Otherwise this won't be the DND that we love.
I loved this chapter and the title couldn't be more appropriate. There is this big blue elephant in the room and everone is trying to ignore it "for now". I loved this phrase. How easily we shift the reality of now to some other time. Payal asked Arnav not to hurt Khushi again. But what will hurt Khushi more...Arnav's confession that he never ever stopped loving her and that her love in his heart is for eternity or his silence. Letting Khushi go knowing that his love is always going to be thrre in her heart. So she would never be able to give 100% to her new life.
Thanks for the pm.
Happy writing!
