CHAPTER 1
"No one believes in Love at first sight until that person comes along and steals your heart"FITE, my dream college since my childhood.As i made my way through the gates i can see a group of students probably second sem ragging a few boys.
I can feel d fresh air filling my lungs trying to make me feel alive but a part of me is still stuck in d dark past i hav been through.
I made my way to d main office building and went straight to d reception.A lady in her mid thirties greeted me n asked my name."Sanyukta Agarwal,1st year mech" I replied."Room no. 24" she handed d keys over to me.
I took d keys n started to d girls dorm
On my way I was stopped by d same seniors i saw at d gate.There were 4 n each looked at me as if they were going to eat me alive."wts your name?" one of them asked me."Sanyukta Agarwal,1st year mech."
"mech? seriously? do u think u r capable
of dat" he said voice dripping wid sarcasm.
Oh not again,I dnt wanna answer these jerks."are u dumb?answer me" as if he read my mind.I pushed them aside n continued to walk."u cannot escape us,girl" i heard them shout from behind.I walked on ignoring them n finally reached d dorm.It wasn't hard finding my room.It was locked may be my roomie wasnt inside.
It was a small room,a cozy one with three beds n a small couch.It has two windows through which i can get d panorama of d campus."peaceful" was nly word which could describe d place.There is a ground on d either side covered with lush greenary.I wanted to take a stroll n went out on to d ground.The climate was pleasant which made me get lost in my own thoughts.Mom,I made it to FITE as u always wished.But y did u abandon me like dis mom,y didnt u take me wid u.Tears welled up as i walked lost in my thoughts."hey you! move aside" some one shouted interrupting my train of thoughts.I cleared my eyes n was about to look at dat person who called out to me.Oops,too late a guy fell frm his bicycle losing his balance.I looked around only to find out i walked into d track of a bicycle race.Oh god,i hurried upto him.He tied his lace n looked up.The first thing i noticed abt his face were his eyes,dark brown eyes which almost seemed black.Locks of his hair fell into his eyes n droplets of sweat made their way down his chin.He looked attractive even in sweat."Are u okay,i m so sorry" i apologized.He gave a warm smile "i m fine,its okay".he had a bruise on his left hand."I m so sorry,i was carried away in my thoughts". ..."oh come on its okay,i didnt get hurt".
I gave him a coy smile n turned to leave when he called out "hey wait,i m Randhir 1st year Mech" extending his hand."I am Sanyukta,1st year mech"..as soon as i said those words i expected a snide comment from him regarding "girls - mech" thing...but instead he smiled n said "dats nice,so we r gonna be class mates" he grinned."yeah" i replied intending to end this conversation n get back to my room.To my relief he said dat he need to leave n bade me a good bye.I quietly returned to my room only to find a girl sitting on the bed next to mine n listening to music.She looked up with a smile n introduced herself as Kaustuki Sherpa,1st Year Mech.She seemed friendly n went on questioning me about my interests...After a while a girl entered with a suit case n looked at d two of us strangely then introduced herself as Arpita.She is 1st year computer science student.Kaustuki resumed her blabbering n to my relief she suggested that we should go to d cafeteria for dinner.As i entered d cafeteria i spotted Randhir in d corner with his friends,he gave me a nod n went back to his conversation.Kaustuki ordered something for us while Arpita n I took a table.Randhir slowly made his way towards us.He was in d same black t shirt.
"Hey Arpita," n turned towards me."hi" i said."u didnt hav ur dinner yet'" he asked."nope"..
"okay listen Karan's throwing a party for our reunion,u gonna come Arpita" he declared not waiting for her response."yeah,ofc we hav been planning for dis party since a very long time." she said excited like a child."wt abt u,wanna join?" he turned to me."nope,i m nt interested"..i said trying not to sound rude."okay,see you around then" he gave Arpita a hug n left.Kaustuki came back wid our order n started her commentary.
I felt tired n drowsy,so i quickly bid a bye to them n made my way to d dorm.The dorm was totally deserted n a little creepy too.I strode across the corridor trying to reassure myself,suddenly I saw a shadow behind me n spun around n I saw two persons in d dark.I couldn't make out their faces but figured out they r boys.Before I could ask who were they,one of them dashed towards me n covered my mouth...
