He always knew he could sing well but thought it would be better to remain a bathroom singer but now he thought it to be the only way to get into the cultural group of the school. He was always interested in music and singing. He went for the tryouts for the school choir and was selected on the spot.

Now he had a permanent pass for the cultural group and this was his two way ticket to heaven. He now had the opportunity to look at this marvel of god up close and performing.

As he was admiring her dancing the speakers in the cultural room roared to life

"Every student of the cultural team kindly report to the principal's office now" .Swayam was cursing the speaker and the principal with his every breath. The whole cultural team reached the principal's office.

The principal Mr. Srivastava was a stout and a short man who used to wear his trousers above his navel and was a laughing stock for the students.

Mr. Srivastava-All the members of the cultural team have to go to D.P.S ,R.K Puram for a cultural fest and have to get a written consent from their parents to be allowed to go.

This was one of the best news Swayam had heard his whole life. A trip with his lady love to the city of"Dilwalon ki ". The trip was scheduled after 2 days and the stay would be of 10 days. These 2 days were the worst time in his life. At last, the day of the trip arrived.

Both the music and dance group were under their respective teachers and this irked him to no limits and his mood became grumpy. He left his seat as soon as the train started. After sometimes he felt a hand on his shoulders. He turned around to find Reyansh Singhania "The Dancer" standing behind him.

Rey-Dude side haat na ek phooki jalani hai.

Swayam was confused as he had never come across that term but since he was an introvert he moved away without asking him the meaning of the word. But Swayam didn't leave him alone and saw him lighting a cigarette .He was taken aback as he tht they were too young to even give it a try. After sometime, Rey was joined by his buddies Nilesh and Vicky. Swayam gave them space and stood beside the sink and could see Sharon the beauty having fun with her friends. He wanted to go talk to her but his strength and will had given up. He heard Nilesh saying "Bhai sutta sabki dawa hai".This line caught his attention and he thoughtt that he should give it a try and maybe he would then have guts to go and talk to her.

Swayam-Rey ek phook dena yaar.

Rey-Pehle kabhi phooka hai?

Swayam-Nahi yaar pehli baar hoga.

Rey after showing him how to inhale and passing him the cigarette- Baat kya ho gayi jo phookne ki zarurat aa gayi?

Swayam was conscious of Nilesh and Vicky being present there but the line of sight of Swayam gave Rey the faint idea as what was going on in his mind.

After taking his first drag and coughing his lungs out Swayam went and sat on his assigned seat. After sometime Rey came and gave him a chewing gum saying"Pakdana mat kabhi teachers se phookte hue" and took a seat beside Swayam.

Rey-Dekh bhai I know you were eyeing Sharon and didn't have the guts to talk to her that is why you took a drag.

The night soon came and everyone slept and reached Delhi early in the morning. The whole group was to stay in the host school's hostel. The boys made their way to boys dormitory and the girls went to girl's dormitory.

The practice for various events started and dancers and singers were separated. It was a tiring day and the participants were relieved only in the evening and were told that they could go out only if they have some guardian with them. Swayam as always went to dormitory but was stopped by Rey midway.

Rey-Bhai maine Papa ko bolkar ek gaadi bulvai hai.Sab ghumne jaa rhe hain Delhi.Tu bhi aaja.

Swayam-Thanx yaar but thaak gaya hoon itni practice ke baad.

Rey knew what he had to do next.He said-Koi baat nhi hai.Waise main Nil,Vicky,Kriya,Simmi ,Rinni and Sharon ke saath bahar jaa rha hoon. Car is a 8 seater so jagah thi issi liye maine pooch liya.

Hearing Sharon's name shook Swayam up.He was dying to join her but couldn't show it in front of Rey.His expressions were more than enough to show that he was in pain by declining the offer.

Rey knew the arrow had hit its mark and asked Swayam again to join them. This was once in a life time opportunity for Swayam and he grabbed it with both his hands. They returned back to the school by 9 and went to their respective dormitories. Swayam slept as he hit the sack but was woken up by Rey.

Swayam-Soone de na yaar raat hai abhi.

Rey-Uth ja 12:30 baj gaya hai.

Swayam-Bhai wahi bol rha hoon abhi 12:30 hi hua hai.

Rey-Abbe kaisa ashiq hai tu.Main girls dormitory ke bahar jaa rha hoon.Kriya aane wali hai milne.Bol tu aa rha hai??Aayega toh kuch bahana banvakar Sharon ko bhi bahar bulva lunga.

Hearing her name made all his sleep vanish within seconds.He got up and started brushing his teeth and then combing his hairs. This made Rey laugh and he said-Teri shaadi ki baat karne nhi jaa rhe hain hum jo aise sawar rha hai.
