Flashback:
It had been a week now since Randhir and Sanyukta were ignoring each other. It all had started in PKC's lab when they were paired up to fix a broken generator. Randhir being the usual MCP tried to sort the issues on his own while Sanyukta strived to work along.
"Randhir what the hell are you doing? What do you think of yourself? I'm going to complain about your behaviour." Yelled Sanyukta.
Randhir who was already irritated shot back with equal force.
"What else can you do bloody farzi engineer. Learn to say thank you. You surely will be getting the credit you 'think' you deserve at the end. Now let me work in peace."
Sanyukta was damn irritated now.
'Had ho gayi hai yaar! Bloody egoistic Mr Intelligent. What does he think oh himself? Ohh Parth where are you. I need to get away from this idiot lab partner.'
'But heyy, not before teaching him a good lesson', thought Sanyukta mischievously.
She took some small but important parts of the generator out and slipped them into her bag. She left the room after promising PKC that she would return in an hours time as she was going to issue some books from the library for fixing the generator.
"This is going to be fun. Wait & Watch Mr RSS" smirked Sanyukta to herself.
It was nearly the end of the day, and the lab would soon close, and Sanyukta had still not returned. Not only that, but Randhir was also unable to complete the task. Somewhere in his mind, he knew Sanyukta somewhat had connection to all this. PKC made fun if the Rank no. 1 in front of the whole class as all the lower ranks were able to complete their task on time.
Randhir angrily left the classroom only to find Sanyukta laughing hard along with Kaustuki in the canteen.
"Haha uski shakal dekhne layak thi Sanyu"chimed Kaustuki.
"Of courses Kastu, after all, that guy had to face the wrath of messing with the wrong girl" grinned Sanyu while holding the missing parts, unaware that a pair of angry brown orbs were giving her a death stare.
"Sanyukta ki bachi, I will show you how you messed with the wrong guy. Wait for Vardhan's lab now".
Randhir fixed the wrong wires inside a circuit and left Sanyukta to complete the project as he exclaimed that he was going to do some further research. The wrong amount of voltage burnt the circuit to ashes as soon as it was turned on be tested. Sanyukta became a laughing stock for not being able to complete the simple circuit. She stormed out of the class to confront the real culprit.
She found Randhir in the library, and dragged him into a dark corner while he was making notes.
"Problem kya hai tumhari? Kyun pare ho mere peeche?"questioned Sanyukta in an irritated tone.
"Oh hello madam, agar khud kuch nai kar sakti toh dusron ki life me bhi interfere karna chor do. I was peacefully going to complete PKC'S project and even give you the credit which you don't even deserve, until you ruined it. Don't you dare ever mess with me again. I will make your life a living hell Sanyukta Agarwal" threatened Randhir.
Sanyukta was damn irritated now. She had had enough oh his tricks.
"Shut the hell up. I never want to see your face... Never!"
And that was how the issue evoked.
...
The upcoming days were prank free and quite relaxing. However, Parth was going through some kind of hormonal phase. His mood was consistently changing. It had been quite a while now since he was not talking to anyone properly. Sanyukta and Randhir were too busy to notice it as they were somewhat missing the spark that kept their day going. All what they wanted to talk to Parth was enquiring about each other. But Parth seemed to be wandering in a world of his own.
