AR Party

Palak was very irritated by the people around her who didnt leave a chance to pull her cheeks, take her forcibly in arms in the name of this welcome party which her family had kept to introduce her to their relatives and friends. She started crying in some time which Khushi didnt like. Palak was in Lavanya's arms as she was introducing her to Pam, her close friend and Khushi saw how Palak was struggling to get off from Lavanya. She instantly came there and tried taking Palak but Lavanya didnt let her to.

Lavanya: Stop intruding everytime Khushi. Palak is fine with me.

Khushi: No she is not Lavanyaji. She is tired and hence crying. Let me make her eat something.

Pam: Uff. Such a boring and poking maid you have La. Is she a new maid of the Raizada's?

Lavanya chuckled whereas Khushi fumed in anger. MAID ? How could Lavanya even laugh at such an insult of hers. Before she could respond back to Pam , Arnav did it for her.

Arnav: Watch your words Pam.

Arnav was just passing by when he heard the fun which Pam and Lavanya were making of Khushi and he couldnt tolerate it. Pam was quiet now seeing ASR and so was Lavanya. She quickly handed Palak back to Khushi.

Arnav: Khushi is not any maid of this house. She is Palak's Maasi. Its only because of her that we have Palak today in between this family. This party is not just to welcome Palak but also to thank Miss Gupta for giving this house their Grand daughter back. I will not tolerate a single word against her.

Pam was sweating now . She weakly noded a yes and left from there. Lavanya started fiddling with her dress to avoid being the next target.

Arnav saw Khushi once who was busy in handling Palak now and showed her ignorance towards Arnav even though he supported her so much.

Arnav: I will ask the servant to get palak's bottle. She seems hungry.

Khushi: No Thanks . I will manage to make her milk ready.

She left Arnav and Lavanya alone and thats when he got a chance to shower his anger and frustration on Lavanya too.

Arnav: What the hell are you doing Lavanya? I am not going to tolerate such friends of yours who have no respect for others.

Lavanya: Sorry ASR. But its not my mistake .I.

Arnav: I dont need your explanation.

He tried to walk away but she caught his hand and almost hugged him from behind.

Lavanya: Uhh. Dad would be here any moment. And he wanted to talk to Naniji regarding our marriage date. Isnt that great?

Arnav skipped a beat. But why? What was wrong with him these days? He wanted this marriage with Lavanya for his own profits. It was just a Deal then why was he not happy ?

Lavanya: Ohh there he comes.

She ran in the arms of her father who just came inside the House. Mr Kshyap was rich and a successful businessman of his times. Though he did experience some crises few years back, he stabilised himself and today once again he had everything which was needed for establishng his empire across the globe. After a short greet from Lavanya, he then came to Arnav and shook hands with him.

Mr Kshyap : Nice meeting you ASR. How you doing these days? I hope my daughter is not troubling you.

Arnav smiled not actually answering any bit of it. While talking his eyes did scan around and he found Khushi with Palak, playing with her to make her cheerful again. A smile crept on his lips as he watched the two. There was something in Miss Gupta which had always attracted him to her. The way she smiled, played with the baby, defended herself against the wrong, stood for herself when someone just takes her for granted and so much more to appreciate. This was something which he never observed or felt for any other girl. Even yesterday when she so clearly told her she will not tolerate him eyeing her when he was already getting married to Lavanya, he didnt like it. If it would have been anyone else than her, he would not have seen that girl's face his entire life for humiliating him to this extent but he couldnt do this with Khushi Gupta. Thats because he never wanted her to be out of his sight. And even when she does that sometimes , ignoring his concerns, he is still present everywhere where she is.

Mr Kshyap cleared his throat to get Arnav's attention towards him.

Mr Kshyap: All Well ASR? You seem to be lost in some deep thoughts. I hope the DEAL between us is still ON.

Arnav: I dont change my decisions Mr Kshyap. The deal is On . I am marrying Lavanya , no matter what.

He turned again to see Khushi but she as usual was not looking at him. She was busy with Palak and others.

Lavanya was excited and happy. She hugged Arnav instantly for increasing her levels of joy and then dragged her father to make him meet Arnav's family. Arnav gulped down his drink watching Khushi and then thinking how was he supposed to ignore Khushi's charms and continue his motive of getting married to Lavanya for the benefits of his Business? These few days will really be a mess , he thought.

Lavanya toasted the drink with her father once and then gulped it down her throat.

Lavanya: Cheers for our Win Dad.

Mr Kshyap: The race is not over yet Lavanya. Our mission will be accomplished when you will convince Arnav and this family to legally adopt Palak. Only she will make me earn double profits.

Lavanya: Hmm. You are right. But I am not interested in money Dad. All I need is ASR. I have waited all these years to be that lucky girl who can get the tag of being his legally wedded wife. Just few more days and then you will get the Raizada money , and I will get my ASR.

Mr Kshyap: And Palak? How will you handle her? Dont forget, she needs to be treated like your own daughter for the family to believe you will be a good mother for her.

Lavanya: Uff. Why are you worried on that ? I can handle Palak well. I am doing my best to show the family I like her and love her equally like they do. But I cant promise things will be the same after I marry ASR. Because I will have to think about mine and ASR babies Dad. Who can concentrate on his brother's child? But until that Khushi Gupta is shadowing Palak, I dont think I will ever be able to gather the family's full trust on me. She is a thorn Dad. Always pricking my eyes. I cannot stand her for a second.

Mr Kshyap: Let the marriage happen Lavanya, and I promise to take her out of yours and ASR's life. I promise.

Lavanya was very happy with her father's confidence. She hugged him again hoping all this would happen soon as planned.

Just as they spoke this and turned to face the people of the party again, they saw Anjali and Arnav standing right before their eyes staring at them with full anger. So their conversation was overheard? And that too by the two important people of this family?

The Party was Off minutes back and Mr Kshyap and Lavanya were surrounded by the Raizada family.

Arnav: How dare you Mr Kshyap? You were trying to use Palak as a pawn? She is just a year old baby and you wanted her to be involved in your cheap tactics of claiming the Raizada money ?How could you?

Mr Kshyap : ASR , its not about money. Infact I was asking Lavanya to adopt her after marrying you so that she gets proper parents.

Arnav: Never. Akash and Payal will stay as Palak parents. I will never snatch the real names of her parents. And dont you think Arnav Singh Raizada will be a fool and accept all your demands. The day you demanded this wedding to be preponed and sent me the Contract papers, I knew something was majorly wrong. All I wanted to do was find the truth. Jeff had given me every bit of information about your current bank dues which I probably never thought about. I still erased those thoughts thinking everyone faces such crises. I had given you my word Mr Kshyap or restructuring our business together and be partners, and I would have stuck to that. But knowing what your and Lavanya's intentions are about snatching the whole property , both mine and Akash's which is now legally Palak's, I dont think this deal is even ON now. Thank your Stars that I am not handing you to the Police for cheating me, because ASR never forgives people who try backstabbing him.

Lavanya was on the verge of crying.

Lavanya: ASR, please understand, it was Dad who was behind money. I never was . I just wanted to be your wife.

Arnav: And you faked your love for Palak to get that? Didnt you ?

Lavanya: I know I did. But I promise never to do again.

Arnav: You promised me many such things Lavanya. I dont think you ever fulfilled even one. I cannot risk Palak's life because of you or your father. She is the grand daughter of this house who needs to be treated like one. I dont want any outsiders to treat her like an Orphan. Because she is not .She has her family who loves her and wants her to be happy always.

Lavanya was very angry that Arnav was not supporting her or giving them a chance again. She wiped her tears.

Lavanya: What a way to throw me out of your life ASR. I dont think you care for Palak the way you showing it off before us now. You have just got an opportunity to fulfil your desires. I know you are strongly attracted towards Khushi. You are not concerned for Palak but her Careataker. You are utilising this chance thats all. But do you think Khushi will accept a man so easily who has already shared everything with someone else? I dont think so. Thats so against her values and damm morals.

Khushi who was standing aloof from all these people was truely hating the fact that she was been dragged so openly before the Raizada family, revealing Arnav's intentions for her . How could Arnav Singh Raizada be quiet after that? He asked his guards to throw this father daughter out of their premises. The Raizada family remained confused on why Lavanya was linking Arnav with Khushi. ? Was it true that Arnav had some kind of feelings for her? But how can he have that when he wanted to marry someone else? What was happening? ANd Khushi? Was she equally involved or just another pawn whom Lavanya used well even after her defeat?
