Armaan walked towards the driving seat and sat in the car, Riddhima had closed her eyes, she was lost in deep thoughts, her life had turned upside down today...She felt like her heart had been ripped out...There was an aura of grey around her... It was a mist that wouldn't rise... A state of depression that she couldn't see herself through... She knew Armaan was with her, but her family's absence was hurting her badly...
She felt a terrible weight on her shoulders... It was as if a giant boulder was laid on her and she couldn't straighten up or catch her breath entirely. She should have been crying, but she was too numb to even think about crying. There was a giant hole in her heart and she knew nothing would ever be the same... No matter what, her family's seperation was troubling her...she looked like death and she didn't care. Her eyes were puffy from crying.
She was dehydrated, and sore. Sobs raked her body... She had to be strong now, She knew the more she ll cry the more Armaan will get hurt, she couldn't see Armaan hurt because of her, she never could let him... Riddhima closed her eyes... resting her head on the comforter and preparing herself...
Armaan watched Riddhima and he knew what she might be going through...Armaan wanted Riddhima to be happy, he didn't wanted Riddhima to be sad, he knew her family's absence could never be fullfilled by him, but he could atleast keep her happy in all way possible...
Armaan kept his left hand on Riddhima's right hand, Riddhima opened her eyes suddenly, feeling the touch of Armaan's warm hands on her... Armaan looked at her and gave a weak smile understanding the situation, Riddhima looked at him nervously and blinked her eyes...Armaan looked at her one last time and started his car... They were soon on the way to the Mallik Mansion.

'Main kaarunga Anjali se shaadi..' Everyone turned towards the voice and were suprised to see the person standing before them.. Anjali walked in at the right moment and looked from the stairs, she heard all the conversation ... She was shocked to see the person, who declared all of a sudden to marry her... Anjali got speechless watching him and she whispered slowly to herself 'Atul..' ??. Atul walked towards Shashank and Padma, who seemed to be shocked with Atul's sudden decison to marry Anjali.. 'Dr. Joshi??...' SHashank said. 'Uncle, Main Anjali se shaadi karna chahta hu...' Atul spoke..
'Dr. Joshi... aap jante hai ki aap kya keh rahe hai ??..' he asked shocked
' Ji, sir...main Anjali se shaadi karna chahta hu...' he spoke genuinely
'Atul beta, iski koi zaroorat nahi..' padma said.
'Zaroorat kaise nahi hai Aunty.. Anjali se main... Mera matlab... Anjali meri achi friend hai... aur Anjali se achi jeewan saathi mujhe nahi mil sakti...' Atul spoke gently
'Nahi... Dr.Joshi.. aap ko ye sab karne ki...' shashank try to say but..
'Sir... main janta hu main kya keh raha hu... aur aap sab apne dimag se yeh baat nikal dijiye ki main Anjali se shaadi uski shaadi tut ne ke wajah se kar raha hu... ya taras akar kar raha hu...ayesi baat nahi hai... main Anjali se dilse shaadi karna chahta hu... aur wo abhi se nahi... bahoth pehele se karna chahta tha... bas.. mujshe kabhi himmat hi nahi ho payi...' Atul spoke his heart out for the first to Shashank and Padma, Who smiled warmly watching Atul ask for Anjali's hand... Anjali eyes welled up looking at Atul and his simple words, she had never thought about him, but now when she gave it a thought, She smiled with teary eyes...
'Dr. Joshi... aap Anjali se sach main ?..' shashank asked conferming. 'Ji sir..' He spoke shyly. Shashank and Padma looked at eachother and smiled.
'Dr.Joshi main bahooth khush hu, Thank you so much...' Shahank spoke and hugged Atul. Padma smiled at them... Anjali walked down the stairs, Atul looked up at Anjali and came out of the hug...
'Atul... tum mujhse shaadi ? i mean tumne mujhe kabhi bata nahi...' Anjali spoke. 'I am sorry Anjali, par main kabhi himmat hi nahi kar saka, Lekin yeh shaadi tabhi hogi jab tumhe isse koi problem nahi hai..' Atul spoke softly, without stressing Anjali. Anjali smiled at him.
'Nahi... mujhe is shaadi se koi problem nahi hai...' Anjali spoke, Atul looked like he was the happiest person on earth to know that Anjali had no problem marrying him. 'sach Anjali..' he spoke excitedly.. 'Yes, Atul..' She spoke gently and smiled back..
'Toh fir, rishta pakka hua... Thank you Dr. Joshi...' Shashank spoke with happiness... and both Atul and Anjali took blessings of Shashank, Padma and nani... Atul and Anjali looked at each other and smiled. 'Ek aap ho Dr. Joshi aur ek woh Dr.Armaan hai... Jiske wajahse aaj meri beti mujhse dur hogayi hai..' Shashank's anger seemed to come again.
'Shashank.. Armaan ayeasa...' padma was cut off Shashank. 'Naam bhi mat lo uska...' Shashank spoke angrily at Padma and walked away... Padma looked at him in disbelief and walked away. 'ye dad aaj ayesa kyu behave kar rahe hai ?..' Anjali mumbled. 'Anjali, koi na koi baat toh zaroor hai, warna Dr.Shashank toh Armaan ko pasand karte the...' Atul reasoned. 'yeah.. right...' Anjali agreed too..
They looked at eachother and hoped for the best...

MALLIK MANSION
Armaan drove off to the Mallik Mansion, Riddhima's mouth fell open watching the Mallik Mansion, She was suprised that Armaan brought her to his house, Riddhima looked at Armaan shocked while Armaan grinned at her... Armaan horned the car once, and stopped the speeding car in front of the Mallik Mansion.
'Armaan ? main yaha ? Nahi Armaan yeh possible nahi hai...' Riddhima frowned folding her hands and looking away. 'Riddhima, common yaar, Sab tumhara wait kar rahe hai...' Armaan blurred... Riddhima's eyes widened more hearing him.
'Matlab.. Armaan tumne apni family ko hamare bare main bol chuke ho??..' Riddhima asked suprised. 'Umm... Riddhima... maine sab ko hamare baare main keh chuka hu...' He said. 'Kyaaa...' Riddhima's mouth fell open hearing him. 'Yeah...' He spoke smiligly, Riddhima stared at him speechlessly.
'ab chalo bhi Riddhima,...' Armaan speaks and gets off from the car, he walks towards Riddhima's door and opens it with his beautiful smile... Nervously Riddhima steps out of the car... The Mallik's heard the car horn and walked towards the main entrance... Armaan holds Riddhima's side shoulder. Riddhima looks up at Armaan while he smiles at her comfortably and they climbed a few steps to reach the main entrance, The Mallik's came towards the door..
'chale ?? Riddhima main tumhare saath hu..' Armaan spoke softly.. Armaan smiled genuinely at Riddhima and Riddhima looked up at Armaan, Riddhima was mesmerised by Armaan's caring nature. She stared at him while Armaan couldn't take his eyes off Riddhima. The Mallik's saw them looking at each other, obviously lost to the world and smiled watching this new couple...There eye lock was broken by Smeeta's sudden voice...
'Agaye tum dono...' she spoke gently.. Armaan and Riddhima looked forward to see the entire Mallik family smiling at them. Riddhima and Armaan looked a little embarassed..
'Didi agayi...' Pari spoke and hugged Riddhima over her legs. Riddhima looked down and smiled watching Pari hug her happily. Riddhima bent down on her knees and hugged pari again. Varun joined in and hugged both Riddhima and Pari. Armaan and the Mallik's smiled at the trio.
'I missed you so very much...Riddhima didi... no no...its... Riddhima mammi... Right Ammy...' Varun spoke proudly and looked at Armaan who nodded his head smiling... . Riddhima looked shocked with Varun's words, she turned towards Armaan, , Armaan smiled at Riddhima and winked at her.. Riddhima looked down hiding her blush...
'me too..' Pari said innocently. Riddhima kissed both the kids on their forehead. Varun and Pari seemed to be overjoyed with Riddhima's presence.
'Hey Riddhima beta, Good to see you...' Billy spoke and went towards Riddhima.. Riddhima stood up when Billy hugged her sidely... Riddhima smiled at him. 'Riddhima, Kaisi ho beta..' Smeeta spoke holding Riddhima's hands. 'Main thik hu aunty...' Riddhima smiled back, she tried her best to hide her pain.
'Riddhima beta, isse bhi apna hi ghar samajho, aur main bhi toh tumhari maa jaisi hi hu na...Hmm...' Smeeta spoke while Riddhima hugged smeeta instantly with teary eyes.. , smeeta patted her back, calming her, Riddhima smiled a little at Smeeta's sweet gesture.. 'Riddhima, Please make yourself comfortable here... Alright..' Billy spoke warmly... Riddhima smiled at him.
'Welcome home Riddhima...' Riya spoke happily...Riya hugged Riddhima just like a sister. 'Common in..' Parag spoke smilingly.
Armaan and Riddhima walked inside the Mallik Mansion together with the rest of the Mallik's. little Pari held on to Riddhima's fingers, not leaving her at all... They all sat on the sofa and spoke for a while. The mallik's warm welcome made Riddhima feel a little happy.. Riddhima was talking to them and smiling at them, she had for sometime seemed to be happy with their company... Armaan's kept glancing at Riddhima and watching Riddhima with his family made him feel like his family was now complete. After a lot of talking Smeeta spoke...
'Armaan, Riddhima ko upar wala room dikhaado,aur Riddhima beta, U must be tired... jao freshen up and come down for dinner.. ok..' Smeeta spoke smiling, Riddhima nodded her head... .
Armaan and Riddhima stood up and walked towards the room. Armaan opened the door of Riddhima's room and signalled her to go with him, Riddhima followed him silently.
'Riddhima, abse yeh tumhara room hoga...' Armaan spoke grinning.
Riddhima walked inside the room...Riddhima glanced through the room, It was a spacious room. The walls were white and grey, along with the ceiling.. In the middle of the room lay a queen sized bed. The carpet beneath it was white in colour. Curtains were in maroon colour... A vanity style dresser with some pictures all around it... The dressers were made of white marble, giving it a gorgeous look... The walls had lots of beautifull pictures in it. One corner of the room had a huge shelf, with lots of frictions and novel... The warddrobe was dark brown in colour, it was huge and beautifull...Walking towards the window pane, Riddhima glanced outside, the garden before her was huge and beautifull. The chill air brushed Riddhima's body... Riddhima closed her eyes and all the events that occured a couple of hours back appeared before her.. Riddhima closed her eyes in disbelief..
'So, Howz it, You like it ??..' Armaan spoke smiling and Riddhima's train of thoughts were broken and she turned towards Armaan. Riddhima nodded her head. 'Riddhima, tum change karo lo, i know this lehenga and jewellery is difficult to handle, okay...' Armaan spoke and Riddhima looked at him nervously... Armaan turned towards the door
'Armaan... Umm..' Riddhima fought for words... Armaan turned back towards Riddhima, he knew what she might be thinking and before Riddhima could say it Armaan spoke.
' Oh haan, Riddhima, I am sorry i forgot... Di ne tumhare liye kuch naye kapade mangwaye hai, cubboard main hai... pehen lena, and yeah...Riddhima don't worry, tumhare kamre ke paas main jo room hai wo mera room hai... Tumhe koi bhi cheez ki zaroorat hai toh.. just call me ok... I'll come right away...' Armaan spoke smiling at her... Riddhima looked relieved hearing Armaan. Armaan walked out of the room. Riddhima went towards the door and closed the door...
She collapsed behind the door, as she felt the pain as strong as one hundred daggers sinking into her stomach. Groaning and screaming with anguish, Riddhima cried silently, All this while she had controlled her cry, she tried to behave as normal as she could but being alone in the room, Riddhima cried, she felt guilty at being rude with her dad, who loved her so much... Riddhima's eyes were watery with the sheer pain. Shattering the warmth and confidence from within, quickly the feeling of security diminishes - wherein shame and confusion fills in their absence. She had broken all her relationship with her dad, but now when she remembered Riddhima realised her mistake, she felt guily of herself.. It was like she had lost something dear to her heart and she can never get it back... like there is no hope... She felt darkness around herself as if she was left alone in the dark. It would be like going from a state of happiness and feeling at home and peace to going into total darkness and confusion where you don't know anything and nothing makes sense and everything is unfamiliar. but she also knew what she did was correct, She had to stand for her love, She couldn't get engaged to Vivek, she knew neither Vivek nor Riddhima hersely couldn't stay together happily, Riddhima could never give Armaan's place to him... Riddhima couldn't imagine a day without Armaan. She had supported her love... wiping her tears Riddhima quicky changed herself... and wore a blue pyjama with a miki top, looking simple and cute.
*Knock Knock*
Riddhima walked towards the door, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, preparing herself and opened it... Smeeta smiled seeing Riddhima..
'Riddhima, chalo dinner ready hai...' Smeeta invited.' Um.. Aunty..' Riddhima struggled. 'Kya baat hai beta? tumhe kuch chahiye ?? ..' She asked confused..
'Nahi aunty, wo bas... aaj dinner karne ka man nahi hai...' she blurred looking down. Smeeta looked at Riddhima and she just knew Riddhima was not in a good state. She didn't wanted to force Riddhima.
'Are you sure beta ??..' She asked softly... Riddhima smiled a little and nodded her head... smeeta turned away to go.. she remembered something and faced Riddhima again...
'Riddhima, Beta i know tum kis mode se guzar rahi ho..., i know tum bahot udaas ho, but trust me beta main bhi tumhari ma jaisi hu... Kabhi bhi meri is beti (she spoke holding Riddhima's cheek) ko apne ma ki yaad aye, ya tumhe koi bhi baat batani ho... toh tum wo mujhse share kar sakti hai.. hmm.. Main tumhare saath hu..' Smeeta spoke gently and went away... Armaan had heard the conversation between Riddhima and Smeeta, and he knew why Riddhima wasn't hungry... Thinking for a time being... Armaan smiled...

'Riddhima mammi... Riddhima mammi...' Varun shouted loudly and ran inside Riddhima's room.. 'Champ... ??..' riddhima said. 'Will you be staying with us ?? Forever ??..' Varun asked excitedly. Riddhima smiled at his sweet talk. 'Hmm...' that was all Riddhima could say, she suddenly remembered her family.
Varun: We will have lots of fun together... Yipee.. He spoke and jumped in the air, Riddhima smiled a him warmly.
'Riddhima mammi i need to show you something... come with me...' Varun spoke, he held Riddhima's left hand and started pulling her, Riddhima was confused but she followed him anyway. 'Champ, listen, wait... champ...' Riddhima pleaded, Varun was adamant to get Riddhima to the terrace. Riddhima's pleading stopped when she saw Armaan there... Armaan's back was facing Riddhima, hearing Riddhima's voice Armaan turned around with his angelic smile. Riddhima looked at him suprised.
'Ammy, I did it, and i get to buy a new play station, you promised right...' Varun spoke happily, Armaan smiled at him and Varun ran away, giggling...!!
Riddhima stood there suprised when she saw Armaan in the terrace too, Riddhima raised her eyebrows, asking him what he was doing, Armaan gave his angelic smile at her and turned his head towards his right side, showing her something, Riddhima followed his gaze, there she saw a dinner table arranged for the two of them, Armaan walked towards Riddhima, holding her left hand he brought Riddhima to the dining table, Riddhima shook her head in refusal, Armaan ignored her and made Riddhima sit on the chair and he sat infront of her... Armaan knew Riddhima's situation, he just wanted to make her happy and comfortable... he knew she needed time... and he thought this way she will atleast have dinner with him.
'Riddhima chalo lets attack, Am so hungry...' Armaan pretended in front of Riddhima. Riddhima looked at him and kept quite. 'Riddhima, kiska wait kar rahi ho ? huh ?? chalo eat...' Armaan insisted again.
'Umm.. Armaan mujhe bhook nahi hai.. I am... I am sorry ...' Riddhima spoke and stood up, She just wanted alone time for herself... She couldn't pretent to be happy in front of Armaan, he could find it out instantly... and it seemed like her tears would pour out any time, standing up Riddhima started to run away...

Riddhima smiled with twinkling tears falling from my eyes. Her arms gripped Armaan, leaving Armaan smile as she held onto him.There, in that moment, she could sense nothing but the comfort and warmth he offered with his strong, masculine frame. The scent of Downy lingered Riddhima in Armaan's hug...With one last choking squeeze, Armaan pulled her more into himself and they remained floating in eachother's arm...
