A/N: I think I have already confused you all with the developments of this story so, before you start with the new chapter, l would prefer summarising the story so far.
STORY SO FAR
Starting with the prologue, we see Khushi visiting an extremely inert Arnav and invite him to her wedding. After a round of heated conversations Khushi finds herself on the couch with Arnav kissing her passionately and she complies back. The scene is witnessed by Abhay Singh; Khushi's to be husband and Arnav's friend.
Khushi walks out of the Raizada Mansion thinking this was her last encounter with Arnav as she's pretty sure Arnav wouldn't be attending the wedding functions and on her way to home she visits the flashback and recalls how did she end up in the present situation.
We further see that Arnav has bought Sheesh Mahal in Lucknow where a grand fashion show is to be held and Khushi is a struggling model who actually aspires to be a designer but the lack of opportunities pushed her into the modelling field. On her frequent visits to Sheesh Mahal in search of job, she gets acquainted with Abhay who offers him a role in the show. She's roped in after Abhay's efforts and trained under AR Technicians.
On the day of the final practice, a day before the fashion show Khushi walks down the ramp she comes to face Arnav Singh Raizada who looks smitten by her and Khushi too finds some strings of attraction pulling her to him.
In daze, she falls into Arnav's arms and is later manhandled by him where he criticizes her on the grounds of lack of talent and hard work.
This angers Khushi and she spends the entire day working hard to prove him wrong and succeeds as the show goes a hit with her own contribution of a flawless performance.
After the show as Khushi once again encounters Arnav, she realises that Arnav had deliberately criticized her to get her work harder and make the show a success. She feels obliged about it but is frantic that Arnav is getting more and more drawn to her. his touch works as a drug to her body and there is a palpable sexual tension between the two while on the other hand Abhay has started liking Khushi but is scared to confess.
During a next meeting in a caf Khushi is outraged when Arnav offers her to get physically involved with him and she slaps him swearing that she hates me which makes Arnav realise that his need goes deeper than physical need though he still is unable to name these feelings.
After the show, Arnav has soon to head back to Delhi and while he was having a me' time on the terrace of the palace, he finds Khushi having a merry time with Abhay is his garden which ignites a fire of jealous in him.
He walks down and with turn of events, drags her to his personal library where he happens to confess his feelings to her in the heat of the moment but later backs out asking Khushi to forget his words and storms out of the place, leaving Khushi in utter surprise and anger.
The same day Arnav flies back to Delhi with Abhay (who still hasn't expressed his feelings to Khushi). Judged by her performance in AR fashion show, Khushi is offered a job in another modelling company and has to visit Delhi.
In the company party, she once again come face to face to Arnav who has had a hard time ever since his returned back from Lucknow. Khushi's thoughts dominate his mind and he's in a serious mental mess.
In the party, Khushi witnesses Lavanya, another model of AR kissing Arnav and she's very hurt but later learns Arnav had to part in the kiss and overhears him saying that Khushi is all he cares about and thinks of.
This helps her to realise Arnav has missed as much as she had missed him.
After the party, Arnav decides it's time for him to put aside the pretence and act of indifference and he decides to share his feelings to Khushi.
He offers Khushi a ride back to home and Khushi agrees. On reaching Khushi's hotel room, Arnav confesses his feelings to Khushi and asks her to be with him. After much thought and convincing from Arnav's side Khushi finally agrees to give each other a chance to be together and Arnav kisses her passionately.
The flashback here gets interrupted and we find Arnav in his room where Anjali (his sister) visits him and confronts Arnav about Khushi getting married to Abhay to which Arnav doesn't replies but informs Anjali that he and she have to attend the engagement ceremony which would be held tomorrow.
