She lay there motionless trying to get some sleep but whenever she closed her eyes his image would pop up in her mind. It reminded her that thing she wanted to forget at the present moment. She sprang up and stared at the wall for maybe few minutes before realizing how uncomfortably she was sleeping on the couch. She felt a sense of pain not due to her neck cramped up because he did not reply yet. She looked at the watch. It was 3 am. He must be sleeping peacefully. Maybe he replied and she did not notice it. She picked up her phone and inspected it. 1 msg!! After all he had replied but her smile faded when she was it was actually simmi's msg saying she would not be able to come to college. She threw the phone in frustration and clutched her hair sitting back. A lone tear escaped
His sleep was disturbed. Sharon was all he could think of. He looked back at the day when she came storming asking for his dad,as soon as she knew she hurried downstairs. There in front of his dad she confessed her feelings not entirely a good situation but finally she fell in love with him or had she?? One part of his mind shouted at him... of course she loves you!! Look at her eyes. They are the witness of her love, pure true love! But the other half would scream back saying that if she loved him then why was she afraid of accepting her love in front of everyone?? He shook his head to get rid of the thoughts. This debate was going on since the time he broke up with her! He tried to suppress it but eventually they surfaced. Deep down in his heart he knew she loved him. Maybe it was the time he stopped suppressing his feelings. One more chance. It may hurt but it was love after all...It could give you the greatest joy and even the greatest pain. He loved her even when she had no idea he existed. He was just a guy in the college crowd! Then why was he letting go of her when she wanted to be with him, in his arms for eternity. He longed for it too. He picked up his cell, found her number. Should he call her at this time?? It could probably wait till morning!
She hugged her pillow even tighter trying to ease out her pain. Her eyes were dry and no longer did any tears fall as she was crying for a long time. She cried remembering the moments she spend with him. She cried remembering the care he showed for her. She cried longing for his touch. All has just disappeared. He completed her and for days she felt her heart crying out for him. She closed her eyes feeling his presence. She let some more tears fall and wished he was there, besides her. Deep in thoughts she did not notice the phone ring several times before it finally stopped buzzing.
He retired his phone and placed it back. After all he should have called her in the morning. But he felt a sense of uneasiness. He turned and adjusted his pillows but that did not stop the thoughts to enter his brain. Was Sharon alright?? She wasn't feeling well in the morning too. What about her asthma? He checked the time. 5 am. He wanted to know whether she was alright or not. She wasn't even picking up her phone! What was he supposed to do? He got up and ran towards the door, took out his bicycle and peddled as fast as his body could. His head throbbed with pain but he didn't mind it, the only person he was concerned about was Sharon. He felt his mobile vibrate. He scooped it out. "Sharon"
Sharon sat on her couch fully awake. She wiped her tears and tried to act normal. She had to be stronger. She was stronger than this! His love had made her venerable, venerable to pain. She went and picked up her phone lying on the cold floor. 5 missed calls from Swayam. She smiled but then wondered why would he call at this time?? Was he in pain? She immediately pressed the call button and held her phone near her ear. She heard his voice speak- hello!! Sharon? Kaha ho tum?? Tum thik toh ho?
Mein thik hoon Swayam.. tumne iss waqt phone kyu kiya?? Tum thik toh ho?
Tumhari awaaz se lag nahi raha kit um thik ho!

She was shocked but happy too. She wanted to hug him tightly and never let go
She opened the door and saw his tensed face. They both stood there without moving, looking into each other's eyes for minutes. Finally Sharon spoke and asked him to enter

They both looked into each other's eyes...they both cried realizing how much they missed each other.
