Telling she carried her to the medical room, and made her lie on the bed. Taani seeing this gesture of hers could not help but ask for the reason of being helped.
Taani: Why are you helping me after what we did to you?
Kria: Don't think I am doing this out of care or concern. I am doing this cause I have a debt to pay to your mother and I don't like to be in debt to anyone plus you would have interrupted my workshops. Now I am asking the nurse to give you a muscle relaxer and a pain killer which will make you fall asleep. I'll tell Swayam to drop you home while leaving, so now relax and rest.
Saying she went from there leaving Taani still a little confused as to what debt she is talking about as it a duty of a doctor to help injured people so what make this a debt. Kria reaches the rehearsal hall where she had told them to reach. First she told Swayam to drop off Taani to her home as she would probably be sleeping after taking the medicines and then asked them to resume with their warm up session. This was probably the toughest day the entire gang must have had in their entire life. It took them almost 3 hours to complete all the exercises as a matter of fact they had dragged themselves over the finish line. And then they all collapsed. Kria then showed them the entire routine. She performed the routine almost 11 times nonstop to show each one what they had to do. It almost took 45 to 50 minutes till then they had replenished their energies a bit but unfortunately the routine was no walk in the park. It was as tough as it gets for them but had to admit it was very beautifully choreographed and her dancing was like a cherry on the top. It had already been 5.30 when they started their practice. It took them 4 hours to perfect the routine and was already 9.30 by the time they decided to leave for home. She informed them tomorrow the workshops will be held till 5.30 as the gang needed to prepare for the party. She also asked them regarding the dance form that Principal Sir likes the most (Though she had a faint idea of what he would prefer as she also knew him but still decided to ask). She got to know it was traditional Rajasthani dance and also classical which he appreciates the most. After knowing she told them all that they can leave. She then practiced her own routine she was going to perform which was a mix of some classical dance which was performed with a few props that are used in Rajasthani dance form. After an hour she decided to leave for her home when it struck her to check whether Swayam had remembered to take Taani with him or not. Though she knew Swayam is not very irresponsible but then it realized that he was almost dragged along with everyone as they were discussing about tomorrows preparation so she decided to check the medical room once. And guess what Swayam had actually forgotten her dear sister, how irresponsible she thought. She called Babita aunty that could she come to the college to pick Taani up as she was sleeping cause of the medicines given to her. She told her everything what happened and told not to worry as Taani was perfectly fine. She then carried Taani again on her back and took her to the gate and stood there waiting for her escort to arrive. Swayam meantime on realizing that he had forgotten her, arrived along with Sharon as she was the one who had the spare keys of the college and so he decided to take her with him in case the college was closed. As soon as they reached they saw the car of Swayam's chachi there stopping in front of the gate. Then they saw Kria reaching out to the car with Taani on her back. They also came out of the car and proceeded towards but stopped when they heard Babita scolding Kria. They hid to hear the entire conversation.
Babita first seeing Kria carrying her daughter soon opened the car door and made her sit in the car. Then she turned to see Kria and was about to thank her when she saw her condition and realized the time which made her angry.
Babita: Are you mad. Don't tell me you were practicing till now. It is almost 11 for god sake. I told you specifically not to overexert but you don't listen to anyone do you. You should realize that you have not completely recovered, I agree that you had an amazing recovery, I too was shocked seeing you recover so fast but still there is a limit to what you should do, what your body can endure. What if you fall ill again?
Kria: Aunty I am fine. And I didn't exert myself I just sat today dictating the entire group of hers (pointing towards Taani) what to do. I only danced for an hour and didn't do much today. I am late because they all left at around 10 because we have a party tomorrow for Principal Sir and hence we were preparing a dance routine to be performed for him. That's it. Believe me I didn't overexert.(She lied and felt bad for braking her promise but she had to lie or else who knows the lady here might again decide to come stay with her)
Swayam and Sharon were thinking how good of a liar she really is. They all knew that she had been exerting herself from the very morning, from the time they had not even reached the college. They were dumbstruck on realizing that she can do all this when she was ill.
Babita: I hope you are telling the truth but you should realize even teaching also causes a lot of stress on your body so you should be more careful. Let me check your temperature.
Kria knew that she had a slight temperature and so she did not want to let her check her but unfortunately she could not do much. Babita checked her and again anger dwelled in her.
Babita: you know what you have a slight temperature again. I find it hard to believe you now.
Kria: Aunty believe me. I guess I will have to rest even more then. I'll make sure to rest as much as I can, that's a promise.
Babita knew she would not but what can she do, she cannot lock her or something.
Babita: Kria you should understand that if you are going to push the limits of your body so much then a time will come when your body will break and soon mentally you will break.
Listening to the last line Kria almost laughed like it was a joke.
Kria: Sorry actually it was that you reminded of what Kaka said before (she was about to say something revealing her past but realized soon enough and changed) before I came here. Don't worry I know that and have no intention of breaking down and no one can break me down.
Babita excepted her defeat and said
Babita: OK come I'll drop you.
Kria: Oh no Aunty don't worry my house is not far away just a 15 minute walk. And I like to walk to my house. Please
Babita: But Kria it is not safe at night for a girl.
Kria: That's what I don't like, what does being a girl have to do with it. You know what this mentality is the main reason for all the abuses towards girls. People think girls are weak and can't take care of themselves. I don't know about others but I am not a mere feeble young girl who can't take care of herself. I can kick any one's ass in a fight. So you don't need to be worried about me.
She said angrily almost shouting at her but soon realized that she had been rude as Babita was just being protective and concerned.
Kria: I am really sorry for shouting like this but I absolutely hate when people say things like that. Aunty I am absolutely fine. I have my phone and I can call if I need help. Don't worry I can keep up with the world and take care of myself. I have been doing fine alone for a while now since mom's accident. So I can keep up.
Seeing Kria hyper she decides that there is no way she is going to listen to her now so she decides to let her have her own way. But she tells her to let her know after reaching home safely and then she bids her goodbye.
Meanwhile Swayam and Sharon were hell shocked after hearing about the accident of Kria's mom. They guessed by the way she said that Smriti Aunty might be not be with her anymore. The news that they just got sure made their heads spin around. There were lots of questions that arose in their heads.
Swayam: (Lost) Sharon do you think Smriti Aunty is, you know, not with her anymore.
Sharon: (Confused and lost) It would seems so.
Swayam: You know Sharon however she may be but she did love her mother more than anything in the world. I would have assumed her to be broken had something happened to Smriti Aunty.
Sharon: Is it possible that you are mistaken about her love for her mother?
Sharon asked though she herself knew how much Kria cared for her mother.
Swayam: Are you seriously asking this. I mean weren't we all there when that happened.
Sharon understood it right away.
Flashback
Dazzlers and Weaklings were fighting for the rehearsal hall when a wicked idea came in the brain of the naughty duo Vicky and Nilesh and they called one of their friend too come and tell Kria that her mother had met with an accident.
Boy: (came running) Kria Principal Sir just told me to tell you that your mother had met with an accident. Though she is out of danger but still has hurt herself a lot. He told me to tell you to go to the Satyam hospital.
Shock was evident on the face of Kria. She without thinking ran to the hospital. Hospital was just a few blocks from the school. The rest of the weaklings accompanied her. As soon as they reached hospital Kria was already shedding tears and when they inquired of a women who had an accident, they were told there was no such person. Kria panicked and called her mother's cell and then she got to know it was a prank by the Nicky duo. Soon the fear and pain was replaced by disgust and anger. Anger in her eyes scared the hell out of anyone and everyone who saw her. She hurried back to the college entered the rehearsal hall and went to Vicky and Nilesh who were having coke. She snatched the bottles from them threw one on the ground near the door and the next were two bangs.
Yes she slapped them both so hard that they almost felt like their teeth might fall off. She to suppress her anger clutched her hand so tight that the second bottle in her hand broke into pieces and pierced the flesh of her hand and soon blood starting oozing out of them. The look on her face, the anger in her eyes freaked everyone. It felt as if she would kill the two. But the blood that started to flow from her hand took everyone's attention and as soon as the weaklings tried reaching her. She showed her palm indicating to stay right there.
Kria: (Anger in her voice) how dare you? You two crossed all your lines today. I had thought you dazzlers too be just some arrogant idiots but never knew you all could go so low just to get the rehearsal hall. How dare you even think of playing such a dirty prank? You remember the next time you think of playing a prank on me and especially using my mother as a bait, I am going to make sure you never ever are able to play any prank on anybody. The smirk you have after humiliating someone would cease to exist and you will curse your life. That's a promise from Kria Ghai. Remember that.
And she dashed away from there. It almost took an hour of convincing to calm her down and then treat her hand. The news spread like a forest fire and everyone in the college knew not to mess around with Kria Ghai. After that day no one dared play a dirty prank on her. Though things calmed down in a few months and small pranks and stuff again became a regular stuff but the memories of that day were still fresh.
Sharon: Yes I get it I mean I have never seen that look on her face ever besides that day and we even have humiliated her in front of the entire college and don't know how many other pranks played on her. I didn't see that anger even now when we almost risked her life.
Swayam: You are right about that.
Sharon: Does she have no one else in her life, I mean any family member.
Swayam: No she once told us that her father left them when her mother was pregnant. She told that she has never ever seen any family come over. She guessed something happened due to which her mother never discussed anything about their family. So if I have to guess she is probably all alone.
Sharon: (almost a laugh came out of her mouth though the laugh was neither the mocking one nor the desperate for a friend) When you look like that sometimes it feels bad for her. I mean her father left her even before she was born, her mother must have been busy trying to provide for both of them and now even she is not there. And if I have to guess she must have been working even in New York also to provide for herself. I mean I can't imagine to have been brought up without the love of my father or mother. Not just them I can't even think of my life without any of my close relatives. And
Swayam: And to think she never had that.(Swayam completed for her)I too thought the same and that's why her kindness which she showed at that time made me respect her more than anything in the world. But I guess I was wrong about her kindness though but I am definitely not wrong about her love for her mother and now I can understand why she works so much. It is probably to keep herself away from the thoughts of her mother and thus keeping herself from getting weak and break down. I mean even if she wants to let out her emotions, there is no one to let it out to.
Sharon: Whatever may be I still can't forgive her for breaking Rey's heart and I hope you understand that. No matter how her life has been, still it gives her no right to play with someone else's heart.
Swayam: Sharon don't get me wrong. I do pity her for not getting the love a person should get but no ways I am forgiving her. Rey is my friend too and I don't plan to forgive her until she realizes her mistake and apologizes. But I know one thing that her actions somewhat are the sole reason why we are together, why us ex weaklings are dancers and why our gang is so strong; And I owe something to her for that but I don't owe her anything that would make me forgive her without a proper reason. Anyways its late we better go home. We can discuss about her later also if we want. Anyways we have to prepare for tomorrow.
