Day 1:
---Swayam---
I entered Rey's bedroom and saw him busy on his laptop. Don't tell me this guy was online all night flirting with girls on bloody Facebook.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a bit of anger in my voice. Yes I was angry with him for what he told me yesterday.
"Oh, hey nothing just planning." He said startled by my presence.
"Planning for?" I asked hoping against hope that I won't hear about Kriya.
"The bet, you won't believe Swayam this girl needs to get a life, she is nowhere on the internet except our college website." He said amused.
"That is called having a life Rey." I said angry. "She is not a stuck up brat that is lost in the world of money and social networking." I completed.
Rey sighed. "You still angry at me." He asked.
"Yes Rey, of course. Do you expect me not to be angry at you when you are planning to ruin a girl's innocence, her life probably." I replied letting my anger speak.
"Whatever you say Swayam, I'm not backing out. I don't care about the car wash thingy but here my reputation is on stake." He retoted. No Rey your wrong. All of this just cause of your effin' reputation.
"And I'm gonna show Kriya what she has to suffer from if she insults me." He continued.
It was unbelievable that Rey has changed so much over the years. I know after all that happened he has full rights to but it was still difficult to see him like this, knowing this is not the the real him.
"Why are you like this Rey?" I asked him for the millionth time. This was the first thing I asked him almost every morning.
"You very well know why i am the way I am Swayam, so stop asking." He said getting up from his desk.
"It's been years Rey, let go..." I started making him stop on his tracks. But he soon recovered and interrupted.
"I won't!!" He yelled and walked out if the room.
That's what he always does, walk away. From everything, from his problems, his pains, his duties, his responsibilities,from confrontation, from his
life.

---Kriya---
It was Sunday morning and Sharon and I were sitting on the couch watching a boring chick flick. God knows how many times I made comments and earned loving glares from Sharon.
Sharon was the optimistic one, believing in love, feelings and happily ever after kind of things.
But I was the opposite and well, I couldn't deny but I was like that once. But things change, don't they.
I saw the pathetic girl as she was crying her eyes out for a bloody playboy. This girl needs to get a life. I so wanted to just switch off that damn television.
Fifteen minutes later, I was still hell bored and as soon as I shifted my attention to the screen, I couldn't take it anymore. The horrifying memories of the past were rushing in from of my eyes as that guy was leaning down to kiss the girl.
I quickly took the remote and shut the television off. Sharon looked at me with a glare, but it changed with a look of concern as her big brown eye examined my face.
I stared at the black screen for three seconds and as soon as Sharon opened her mouth to speak, I got up, rushed upstairs into my room and then into the balcony.
I smiled a bit as the breeze touched my face and pushed my hair back. This place always calmed me, the view in front of me wasn't that great as it was of our garden but I still felt composed here.
In no time Sharon was beside me, the both of us leaning on the railings, not looking at each other but acknowledged of the others presence. I quietly wished she won't start a confrontation session.
"You need to let go Kriya." She started. It was always like this, she would always ask me to do it but I already did it the first time. But she was always concerned.
"I have Sharon. It is just at times like these I remember those moments." I said truthfully. I knew taut lying to Sharon rai Prakash will only create further problems.
"If you did. It wouldn't have effected you." She said, trying to make me confess.
"It's not that Sharon." I started but was at loss of words. "Love is a stupid thing Sharon and seeing someone falling in love even though it's in movies it effects me. Whatever happened after that, it's difficult to see all that." I told her after hesitating a lot, hoping she would close the topic.
"Love is a beautiful feeling Kriya, you just need to give it a chance." Sharon insisted not looking at me.
We looked at the scene in front of us, neither of us speaking. I silently hoped that she won't drag the topic. I wasn't ready for it. Not now. Not ever.
"Let's go to the mall, it's been a while." She said out of nowhere.
I knew why she was doing it and I was grateful she understood me so well.
"Yeah, cool." I replied.

--At The Mall--
---Rey---
We were at the mall, after Swayam and I had a 'chat', we decided to come to the mall. These type of chats are something we keep having.
I was sitting on a table in the food court of the mall. Swayam was literally getting harassed by a girl on the other end.
I was keenly observing them from afar. I could tell Swayam was trying to get her off him, but she only kept clinging on him more.
Swayam had the charm and the looks, no doubt. He had the looks which girls go gaga over. But he needed to learn to use them. Whenever I asked him to do have a life like me, he always started with the crap. 'I want a serious relationship.' I wanted him to get over that and enjoy his life.
After fifteen minutes of enjoying Swayam getting molested. I decided to step in. I walked over to the girl and Swayam.
"Hey Swayam." I started. Swayam looked at me thankfully and the girl ogled at me.
"Hey, could you give me and my friend a moment please." I asked the girl as I took her hand and slipped a piece of paper in it.
She looked at the paper and opened it hiding it from Swayam. And must've seen a 10 digit number with
his number written beside it.
She merrily skipped away from me and Swayam leaving us alone.
Swayam was dazed for a moment and then he asked "What did you do?"
"I gave her your number." I said goofily.
"What?" He screamed.
"Cool. I just scribbled some numbers that's it." I said and as soon as I said those words he relaxed.
Sometime later I excused myself from Swayam to go to the restroom.
---Kriya---
It's been two hours since we reached the mall and all we've done is stroll around.
Whatever shop we went we used to just walk around and of we liked something we would check it for a while, giving the saleswomen high hopes, but finally either Sharon or I made such a comment that we would end up not buying it.
I started to feel hungry and wanted to go to the food court badly, but before I could say something Sharon voices her feelings.
"Kriya, I'm hungry let's go to the food court." She whined.
"Okay." I laughed.
We were in the food court and I was blabbering about something we saw at a shop. Suddenly Sharon stopped dead in her tracks. I looked at her and saw her looking at something with her eyes open like saucers.
I looked in the direction she was looking and saw none other than Swayam Shekhawat. Yeah, him. I knew him from some of my classes. He was a very good guy, calm and composed and never really behaved like a stuck up brat though he had heaps of money.
Yeah, I knew about him so much because we worked together on a project but the only thing wrong with him is that he is the cousin of effin Reyaansh Singhania. I felt Sharon squeeze my arm, yeah she had a major crush on him since the day she saw him.
I saw Swayam approaching us and Sharon's grip got tighter and tighter. I pulled my arm away from her, wincing.
"Hey Kriya, nice to see you again." He said to me, looking at Sharon.
"Hey, nice to meet you too." I replied. "And this is my friend." I continued.
Swayam held his hand out and said. "Hi I'm Swayam."
"I...uh...I'm...umm." Sharon stammered as if that was the only thing she knew. Swayam smiled at this but I, being me, got hell irritated.
"Sharon. That's her name." I said interrupting their eye lock.
"Pretty name." Swayam replied.
God this was getting annoying, so I was gonna do what I do best.
"Well Swayam, Sharon wanted to go home and I need to do some shopping. Can you please take Sharon home." I asked Swayam.
"No. I don't..." Sharon started but I interrupted her with a quick wink.
"But how will you go home." Swayam asked.
"Oh I'll go by a taxi." I replied as soon as he questioned.
Swayam thought for a while and agreed. "Bye Kriya." He told me and started walking.
Sharon gave me a quick hug and followed Swayam, catching up with him.
I smiled as I saw them heading towards the elevators. "Now I'm really bored what to do?" I questioned myself.
"Hi, Kriya." A voice came from behind me. When I turned I saw the person I truly did not want to see.
---Rey---
Kriya's face was dumbfounded as soon as she saw me. It was hilarious, the way she was looking at me, as if I was an alien.
"What are you doing here?" She asked recovering from the shock.
"Well, I came with Swayam but you sent him away." I said wearing a smirk on.
"Oh, too bad. I apologise." She said and started walking away.
She isn't getting away so easily. I held her wrist causing her to turn and raise an eyebrow at me.
"What do you want?" She asked clearly knowing the answer.
"A date??" I asked clearly knowing what was going to come next. I prepared the next line in my mind.
"Okay, but only for an hour." She replied. Wait... What? Did I really her that or are my ears betraying me. Did this girl really say yes to me without any rude comments or resistance.
She walked over to a nearby table and sat on a chair behind it.
I say adjacent to her and looked at her with scrutiny whereas she was looking at me weirdly.
"What?" I asked, still not sure why she agreed so easily.
"You are not going to order?" She questioned me back. Shit how can I be such a fool. I quickly got up and walked over to the restaurant counters, understanding that she wanted me to order.
I came back after ordering and sat in my previous seat, observing Kriya.
"What's wrong?" She asked me, totally oblivious to what I was thinking.
"Why did you agree so easily for the date?" I asked letting the curiosity come out.
"Kriya Ghai never breaks a promise and I gave you 14 days. So no point resisting you and I love free food." She replied in two ways which only made her the 'Ms. I can do anything.' for me atleast.
Kriya and I looked up as the waiter came and served us our orders. My order, rather.
"McDonalds?" Kriya questioned in a simple word, her eyebrow raising and an amused voice coming out of that mouth.
"Yeah, I thought you might like a simple lunch rather than a feast so..." I replied hoping she did not expect anything more.
"Well, I might actually like you for keeping this simple." She said opening the wrapped burger.
After 20 minutes of eating peacefully without any conversations. I realised that I only have 40 minutes left with this girl for today.
"So, wanna play twenty questions." I asked. Really Rey that's the best you got. Shame on your playboy status. "Well, I'm not giving away too many of my
details to you. So how about five questions." She replied and smirked.
She looked cute when she did that. But this girl was sharp, she knew I would ask less personal questions at the first.
"Yeah that's totally cool." I replied. "Favorite colour?" I asked.
"White." She said.
"Ever been to jail?" She asked.
"No." I almost yelled. This girl, I thought she would start with impersonal questions at first.
"Why did you send Swayam away?" I asked remembering that brother of mine all of a sudden. I saw her shift in her seat and reply. "Sharon,y friend felt dizzy and I had to shop so..." She trailed.
"Oh yeah I know that Sharon girl." I replied. She raised her eyebrows at me and proceeded with the questioning.
"How many girls have you genuinely dated?" She asked.
"None." I replied, and I could see her looking at me as if I'm an alien, again. I bet she must've made a theory of me falling in love with a girl, she left me and then I became a playboy. But that is not true, those are just cowards who can't take rejection. I'm not one of those.
After that, we decided to keep it a little impersonal. We talked about school with me always flirting with her and she constantly resisted. We went to a music store and bought some CDs after that, though I knew by the look on Kriya's face that she didn't want to do it. She only did it to prove that she sent Swayam and her friend out for a reason.
"Okay, then bye." She said to me as we stepped out of the store. What she is going, but why?
"Why?" I asked.
"Look at the time, I told you an hour and it's already two hours past." I said showing him my watch.
"Well I'll drop you then, you are not gonna get a taxi here." I said, trying to spend more time with her.
"Okay then." She replied. Yes I'm getting to know her house, wait I already do.
After fifteen minutes of a boring ride and Rihanna and P!nk screaming their heads off we reached her house. She unbuckled the seatbelt and started walking out.
"Meet you tomorrow..." I asked and she stopped, turned and said "Depends if you don't behave like a stuck up brat." And went inside her house.
Well that wasn't bad for day 1. She is gonna fall for me soon and then 'hello repaired cars'. Just let these 14 days pass. I started the car and drove off.
Done.
Okay, so if anyone of you have questions these are the things you should know.
1. The mall which had the food court thingy is something like this:
This is only a part of the whole court Okay I don't know if anything like this is in Mumbai but I wrote it according to Hyderabad.
2. Kriya did not wanna go home that was the reason she accepted Rey's date. She is not going soft.. Not now atleast.
3. The part at the end might be a little rushed and I'm sorry.
4.Reyam live in the same house and Sharon stayed over at Kriya's for a night.
